You're not going to get a more authentic pizza than Jet's. Do yourself a favor and get the Detroit style. I wouldn't mess around with the round or anything else. Not that it's not good but the shining star is the Detroit square Sicilian style. Add whatever toppings you want, you can't go wrong. The Hawaiian is excellent but I like their Jet-10 with all the toppings. It's so filling I usually can't finish more than two slices. The best part is with those delicious caramelized crispy edges they heat up like a dream the next day in the air fryer or the toaster oven. It was a treat to find that my favorite pizza chain growing up was right here in Stone Oak. Y'all don't know how lucky you have it. I've lived in various places around the country and you can't get authentic or good Detroit style pizza outside of Detroit. * A fun little sidenote. If you happen to get the Greek salad you'll notice there are slices of beets on there. It's a staple in the Detroit area for any Greek salad. I've had people look at me like what are those red little circles on my salad. Those my friends are delicious beets. They are good for you and they are necessary. Also try their homemade ranch dressing. It beats their Caesar dressing hands-down and they sell bottles to go.*

This would be a 5 star review if it was not for their online ordering that does not tell you how…read moremuch toppings are or even if they cost extra when you're under the impression they are apart of you order. So, I did an online order to be delivered. Yes, I was being completely lazy because I live across the street from this place. So it was relatively easy to order but deceptive. What I mean is when you make a choice you are then able to see the toppings you can choose but there is no way to know what the limit is in the price of your choice nor how much anything over your limit costs. Everything I ordered, mozzarella sticks, perfectly cooked, not greasy or over fried delicious marinara sauce to dip them in. A house salad which absolutely surprised me with it's size. It was more then the usual "house" salad that you get in most places. Honeymustard dressing that seemed fresh. Chicken Alfredo. Now I was impressed. The sauce was not overpowering at all and it was not drowning in sauce. Some Alfredo sauces could have a flour taste due to not enough liquid when making the sauce and this was freshly made sauce that for my taste could use a hint more pepper. Lastly was a calzone. Now this was to die for. I compared it to the ones I'd get in Little Italy in NYC that's how good it was. So, I will order from them again and I may just trot across the street to do so. A big thumbs up!

- Disappointing Experience at Pizza Italia…read more Dear Pizza Italia Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment with the customer service I received during my recent visit to Pizza Italia. I have enjoyed coming to Pizza Italia in the past, especially when Uncle Larry worked there. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was completely different. I ordered my food and waited an unreasonable amount of time for it to arrive. During that time, I watched other tables that arrived after me receive their food while I continued waiting. When I finally addressed the staff about the delay, I felt as though I was being treated as if I had done something wrong simply for asking about my order. The way the situation was handled made me feel disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. I also requested a refund because the service I received did not meet reasonable expectations. My refund request was initially denied. Eventually, I was told that I would receive reimbursement, but that I would have to wait approximately two days for the money to appear in my bank account. During this interaction, Manager Bob also told me that the owner wants to reduce staffing in order to save money. As a customer, I do not feel that this is something I should have to hear as an explanation for poor service. Staffing and business decisions are management's responsibility, and customers should not be made to feel responsible for the consequences of those decisions. What was most disappointing was that no one made a genuine effort to correct the situation or make me feel valued as a customer. A simple apology and an effort to resolve the problem could have made a significant difference. I have never experienced this level of disrespect over what should have been a simple lunch at a restaurant I once enjoyed visiting. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning to Pizza Italia. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and considers how customers are treated when problems occur. Customers should be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of staffing challenges or other internal business issues. Sincerely, Roberto

Within the restaurant is some sayings that is missing punctuation (see pic). I normally wouldn't point that out but without the punctuation it actually changes the word which would make the phrases inaccurate. The pizza itself is not unique and a very average chain restaurant tasting pizza. Both pizzas needed seasonings. More bland than I expected. The crust was decent but could have also benefitted from some light seasoning. They need to step up the flavor game in order to compete with other chain pizza restaurants.
