Seeing as I am the administrative assistant, I said that I could take the pizza to the conference room. He again insisted that the gentleman come out of the meeting and come to the front. And, he kept making snide remarks to me. I said, "Well, this is a first for me when receiving a pizza delivery." He replied, "No, it's pretty standard." I said, "No, I've never experienced this in my 50 years of life." He responded, "Well, I guess people have given up then." It went on and on. I've received many, MANY deliveries in my 15+ years of being an administrative assistant, and I have never EVER experienced such a rude PIZZA DELIERY PERSON.

Stopped by with decent expectations and walked away feeling pretty middle-of-the-road…read more The pizza itself lands around a 6.5-6.8 out of 10. It's a step above your typical fast-casual chain, but not by much. The crust had a nice bit of browning, which was a plus, but the sauce runs noticeably sweet -- giving it more of that Pizza Hut-style vibe. It's solid, just not something that stands out or keeps you thinking about it later. If I were rating on pizza alone, it'd probably sit at a 4-star experience. Where things slipped was with our order. We did a half-and-half custom pie: half supreme with no olives or mushrooms. That didn't quite translate in execution. That side showed up overloaded with olives -- way beyond normal -- and still had mushrooms on it. Not the end of the world, but definitely frustrating when you customize and it comes out off. We also paid for extra dipping sauces that never made it to us, which added to the letdown. As for the ambiance, don't expect a dine-in experience. It's more like walking into a Little Caesars-style setup -- very basic, grab-and-go feel -- with just a single picnic table outside. Not really a place you'd plan to sit and enjoy a meal. Would I come back? Maybe if I needed something quick and convenient. But it's not somewhere I'd go out of my way to recommend or call a must-try spot.

This pizza has amazing flavor and no flavor overpowers the other. I love that it's local, it's become my new neighborhood pizzeria.

It's about $5 a slice for what they already have and the a/c wasn't bad either compared to the 100 degree San Antonio weather. I got the meat lovers, and as a former vegetarian, I was converted to a meat lover for sure. 10/10 pizza, 8/10 a/c. Sofia's Pizzeria is everything Domino's wishes they could be and what could've been a crappy day turned into a pleasant slice of pizza. Cool spot and sick decor.

When I got there to pick up my pizza, everything was ready and the service in store was excellent. I immediately ate a piece of cheese pizza, which was really good, very cheesy with a great cheese pull and a nice crust. The Margherita pizza was definitely not what I was hoping for. Way too much sauce and very thin cheese. The sauce was almost more like a paste, not really anyone liked it. The cannoli was OK, but not great. I tried the chocolate and strawberry. The regular pizza seems like the way to go. In willing to try them again, just not the dessert. I don't recall seeing a dining area but the interior is very well lit and clean. 4/5
