The service has always been great. The pizza is delicious, especially when ordered crispy. The hot wings are amazing.

Outstanding! Clean and welcoming interior, Friendly and helpful staff, Lunch Specials and great menu. Tried the beef lasagna, Took about 15-minutes But it was worth the wait! Hot and steaming... Sauce was flavorful and cheese was thick/stringy. Highly Recommend if in the area. 4.5/5

Chef Salad.. sorry mixed before picture but it is so good

Got my drinks, sat down and within less than 5 minutes I had my salad. Our fried mozzarella were good no extra breading. You would definitely need a fork to eat it though. Our pizza came out quick. We didn't add the anchovies though not a fan. Crust was not thick, loved the crispiness of it. NY charm inside this small pizza place.

Craving NY style pizza, I always pass by this restaurant. Finally stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Our service was great, order at the counter and prices are reasonable. Shared a medium pizza and garlic cheese bread. For fountain drinks they offer Pepsi products or beer and bottle Coke products. The restaurant was clean and music wasn't too and they played some good songs. Overall great place for some pizza.

Greek salad - enough for 2 -to share. Perfect and not over powering with too much feta !

Wow super clean establishment and the women's restroom was super clean - I have not seen a super clean restroom since the Culver's in San Antonio

Medium cheese pizza... balance/ratio of cheese to sauce.

Garlic cheese bread was a foccaccia style, so it was a bit dry. Sauce is simple, not very hearty but works. Cheese pizza is pretty good. Cheese is stringy enough and the pizza dough has a nice chew. Would recommend trying it.

The menu is pricey, which we don't mind when the food is good. The food we had does not justify these prices. The calamari ($16) is obviously cooked from frozen. It's not seasoned and was overcooked. Calamari isn't the most forgiving dish, so we didn't say anything. It was still edible and we were hungry. The marinara sauce wasn't bad. The side salads (one free with entrée, one $6) were your basic bagged salad with one sad slice of tomato and three slivers of shaved carrot. Dressing is not made in house. The bread (free with entrée) was the star. The dipping oil ($5) seemed like the only thing that was actually made from scratch. It was full of chopped garlic and basil with some red pepper flakes. Absolutely delightful. The bread came out fresh. It had a lovely crisp crust and a pillowy soft middle. I could have eaten a whole basket of the bread. I'm not sure if it's baked from frozen, but it was really good. We split the cappellini carciofi entrée ($16 lunch special) that was described as chicken breast sautéed with artichokes, fresh tomatoes and white wine. Served in a lemon sauce over angel hair. What we got was an anemic chicken breast pounded wafer thin that had been stewed in canned tomatoes and artichokes. There no lemon flavor in the sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly, but the sauce just tasted like oil. The whole dish had a metallic taste that made us instantly stop eating bc it just tasted off. At that point we were over it. We had been willing to overlook the disappointing calamari, if the main dish had been great, but it was worse. Our server was very nice, but for some reason when apologizing for the bread taking longer to come out, decided to say she was baking it fresh so it "wouldn't get salmonella, because there'd been so many outbreaks". My husband and I looked at each other like. "huh? What are you doing with bread to risk salmonella?" and why would you mention salmonella right before bringing me chicken dish?!? Weird. When advised we didn't like the dish, she was very kind and got the manager. The manager did offer to bring us something else but we were already so turned off, we just wanted to go. She did bring us some more bread to go with the dipping oil that we asked to take home which was a nice touch. I don't know if we will go back. Some of the pics and reviews make me think maybe we just got the wrong thing or went on an off day.

It was served with flatbread for dipping, and the lemon butter sauce was absolutely delicious. I followed our server's recommendation and ordered the Chicken Napoletana for my entrée. In all seriousness, it was one of the best chicken dishes I've ever had. The balance of flavors, the sauce, and the overall execution were perfect. I would absolutely come back just to order this dish again. We also had the pizza and spaghetti with meatballs, and both were delicious. The bread deserves a special mention as well- 10/10. I found this restaurant while visiting San Antonio and wanted to avoid dining near the River Walk, so I followed an article that listed it as the best authentic Italian restaurant in the city. After eating here, I completely agree with that assessment. Overall, this was an outstanding meal and a place I would gladly recommend to anyone looking for excellent Italian food in San Antonio.

This was excellent…read more I added this to my list after seeing its outstanding reviews on Google and Yelp in case we had spare time on our business trip, being in San Antonio from Tampa - we had that extra time and ended up here and it's great that we did. I called ahead of time asking if they had availability for 6 guests at around 6 PM and they said that it shouldn't be a problem, but they can't guarantee that we'd be seated right away... sold! We arrived and while the set up the table, Charlene welcomed us to hang out at the bar. We were then greeted by Ben, who we came to find out was one of the owners of the restaurant. He spoke with us briefly as our table was being set up, welcoming us in. Within 3 minutes of coming in, they set up a table for us in the corner of the restaurant and had us seated. The place is small (not tiny) and even on a Wednesday at 6 PM, it was clearly a popular spot... we would continue to find out why that was the case. Forgive me, as I cannot remember our waitresses' name, but she was great. She handed us our menus and let us be as we needed a moment to make our decisions. The front of the menu tells the humble story of how the restaurant came to be - definitely worth a read while you are waiting. Our waitress came back and took our drink and food orders. At the same time, I asked if she could have Ben come over as we wanted to hear more about his story after reading the brief story on the front of the menu. He came over and talked to us for ~5 minutes telling us about how he ended up in the States after leaving his home and how the restaurant came to be - from that alone, my experience had already been elevated and I was even more excited for the remainder of the experience to come. The drinks arrived, followed by the food, which we ordered (mostly) solely on Ben's recommendations. Everything looked delicious and as we were told by Ben, it was all fresh, purchased that day from the market and cooked to order. We started with the fried mozzarella, which was unique to me, in that it had no marinara but instead, spicy honey and sesame seeds and was fried in beef tallow - it was great. I ordered the Chicken Parm, which had fresh mozzarella poured into it at the table - the mozzarella smelled (and tasted) AMAZING. The dish has select bites throughout it that had some spice to it - I'd say that the spice level was about a 3/10, coming from someone who doesn't have the highest spice tolerance. The flavor/satisfaction level? 10/10. Typically, I'm not a dessert guy, but because of how good the experience was up to this point, I had to indulge. I ordered the crème brûlée and was not disappointed. Good temperature, good, mild flavor and presentation. This experience was excellent. From the unsuspecting setting, the greeting, the noise level in the restaurant, the attentiveness of the servers, the presentation and flavor of the food, to the staff asking how everything was and holding the door for us as we left, this is an exemplary example of how hospitality/service should be done. Ben, hopefully you are extremely proud of the team you have put together and the establishment you have made over the past two years. Very well done and thank you for your hospitality. If we are ever in town again, this will DEFINITELY be a stop that we make. Cheers.

I have been praying for a decent Italian restaurant to open up close to us. My prayers have been answered. This location used to be a pizza sports bar kind of place that closed a few months ago. Now it is a very nice full-menued Italian restaurant. A lot of my favorite dishes are on the menu. Today, I tried the cannelloni in marinara sauce. My wife tried the cannelloni in Al Fredo. We were served a nice cold and crisp salad along with a basket of bread knots. That bread was soft and delicious, especially when dipped in the bowl of olive oil they provided with it. Both of our entrees were very good. They were served piping hot straight out of the oven in oval dishes. I tasted the Al Fredo and it was delicious. It is way too rich for me, hence my ordering the marinara, which was amazing. Since they gave us two huge bread knots each, I used my second one to sop up the sauce like an ill-mannered peasant. Talk about good! We each chose one of their delicious desserts to take home. My wife opted for chocolate cheesecake. I am not a fan of that at all, but she said it was really good. I had the Italian Cream Cake. It was moist and delicious with lots of awesome icing. Our server, Rose, was very welcoming and helpful. She seemed well-versed on the menu and assisted us in making our choices. The manager was very friendly and talked to us a bit. The music was relaxing. All in all, I liked everything about this place and hope they do a great business. I truly expect to become a regular here.

Some might chalk it up to the nostalgia of coming in here and the smell of the breadsticks and tables mixing the salads as my reasoning but it's so much more than that. We had a last minute Sunday family dinner here for roughly 20 people on such short notice. Usually these are catastrophic; however this was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience thanks to the servers who got us all the drinks and salad/breadsticks we needed followed by the entree dishes itself. Led by Thomas, him and his other serving partner made sure the drinks were filled, new utensils provided for the entrees, and any garnishes/sides/sauces we asked for were promptly brought out. Now for the food, I expected the eats to be cheap commercialized microwaved slop. I was dead wrong on that as the food was freaking delicious! Starting with the stuffed ziti fritti with the marinara and alfredo sauces, this is an underrated appetizer that has a crispy texture and the creaminess of the cheese in the middle. And of course those delicious breadsticks and salad which people can't get enough of. As for the entrees, they tasted just as amazing as they smelled. I found myself devouring the Calabrian steak & shrimp bucatini; this had a nice spicy cream sauce with some spinach and tomatoes. Definitely would order again. Everyone else enjoyed their meals such as the herb-crusted salmon, classic lasagna, steak gorganzola alfredo, and the crispy chicken alfredo. Damn we were famished! I take back all the negative reservations I had about Olive Garden. I'm back to being a believer, all thanks to this location and the service provided by Thomas and staff. The motto still rings true: When you're here, you're family!

My grandmother,…read morethough Irish, lived with an Italian family from the age of twelve when her father lost everything they owned to gambling. The family that took her in taught my grandmother all about Italian cooking, some of which she passed down to her daughters. Her spaghetti sauce, which she called gravy, was the best. My mother's sauce was just as good. Therefore, we never ate spaghetti out because we knew it wouldn't be as good. Last night, I was hungry for Italian food. Spaghetti was far from my mind. However, a super two for one deal on Door Dash enticed me to order spaghetti with Italian sausage from Albi's Vite Italian Kitchen. It arrived in two foil pans with plastic domed lids. There was enough food in those two servings for me to eat four meals! When I took the lid off, I could not believe how many slices of Italian sausage were on top of the spaghetti. The marinara sauce looked kind of plain and simple but was surprisingly flavorful. I was able to eat a slice of sausage with every bite. That combined with the chunky tomato pieces in the sauce made for a very satisfying meal. Was it the best spaghetti I've ever had? No. Would I order it when I visit the restaurant in person? No. But it was good enough to make me ready to try other dishes on their menu. I think they will most likely blow me away. The reheated portion I had for lunch today was even better! The pasta absorbed a lot of the tomato flavor. I think my next batch will be fried in a tiny bit of butter the way my mother did it when she had leftovers.
