I thought maybe he didn't hear me, so I said again "have a nice day," and he said "we don't have to respond to that." I said "It's courteous to, don't you think?" And he said "I don't have to respond to that." I asked for his name, he didn't answer. Then, in shock, I muttered "wow...unbelievable," and, still in my driveway, he mockingly responded back "unbelievable." I called the shop to report this rude experience; he answered the phone and told me off, saying I shortchanged him (I didn't) and that I didn't tip enough...obviously he didn't deserve it! He then told me to "get the hell out of here," and *click* he hung up the phone. The man was rude and obnoxious, and the pizza tasted bitter in my mouth because of it. I called customer care...nothing happened. I called the store and spoke to a manager...nothing happened. Obviously this store doesn't give a fig about its customers, and this rude employee the other Yelp reviewers encountered will continue working there, eliciting one-star reviews until he hangs it up and goes elsewhere to treat people like chattel. I used to be a die-hard Domino's fan. From now on, I will be taking my business to "Uncle Al's Pizza," when eating in Elyria. **Update: I called customer care a second time and spoke with a lovely, empathetic woman who said his behavior was "unacceptable," and if the store didn't call me back in 3 business days, to let them know. She had apparently had bad experiences ordering delivery from other places, and knew how it felt. No one should have to put up with it.

A group of us were in PJ McIntyre's and wanted to grab pizza to go so we walked into the Papa Johns and immediately noticed there was one employee working by himself on a Friday night. This guy was running an entire restaurant answering the phone and picking up tickets and making pizzas all by himself. I really felt for the guy because he didn't seem to be in a bad mood about it and he just kept going forward. My only regret is I did not have cash to tip him or I absolutely would have. I don't know his name, but he was probably in his late 40s to early 50s and I give this guy all the credit in the world. Papa Johns also has a pretty good app on your smart phone and they have lots of bonuses and rewards the more you order.
