    We have done business with this local family-owned company many times over the years and always…read morehad a good experience. However, yesterday they provided advice above anything we have ever had an any appliance store. Our very expensive 5-6 year old GE Monogram Advantium microwave suddenly started "sparking." We called Scott Appliances for advice re service or replacement. Over the phone, David Scott said that the rack inside the appliance could be problematic and was not needed except when cooking multiple items. He suggested that we remove it to see if that had an effect. It turned out that the support bracket inside the unit was worn and reacting with the rack creating the spark. His knowledge of microwave issues solved the problem so instead of an expensive repair or a replacement in the $3-4,000 range we can continue to get many more years of service from this unit. Thank you David and Scott Appliances; needless to say we will continue to use you for all our appliance needs.

    We purchased a Thermador combination convection oven and speed oven. The speed oven stopped working…read moreafter only 1 day. They were not helpful in trying to fix this. They claimed they had no other unit to replace it with. Thermador gave me the run around first saying it would be fixed, then saying they didn't have the parts, then saying it would be replaced, then saying the unit was backordered for months. I have requested several times to return the unit and be refunded. This has not been resolved. Do not trust them. Shop elsewhere.

The dishwasher was delivered, but the installers said they couldn't complete the job because the connection needed to be replaced--something that was supposed to be included in the installation I already paid for. To make matters worse, when I called to get clarification, Lisa in the Appliances department was extremely rude and actually hung up on me. I'm currently 9 months pregnant and dealing with this level of stress and disrespect is absolutely unacceptable. I was told a plumber needed to come out separately, even though that service was part of what I had already paid for. The lack of communication, poor customer service, and unprofessional behavior has been incredibly disappointing. I expected better from a company like Home Depot, especially when it comes to honoring paid services and treating customers with basic respect.

Only the supervisor was on task and did his job correctly, while you had Dorris just wandering back and forth once we got home and realized she didn't she didn't give us all the parts we ordered we called Home Depot only for her (Dorris) to answer and seemed lost and stalled on the phone (mind you it's 10:49pm and they close at 11pm) we had to rush to Home Depot only to see that Dorris wasn't there and the supervisor assisted us and helped us a lot
