I needed new paddles for my Zojirushi BB-PAC20 bread maker. Goodman's had the lowest shipped price. Communication was good at first; first they sent an invoice the same day of the order, then later the same day there was a thank-you email, which said, "When your order ships, you will receive an email with TRACKING INFORMATION." (emphasis theirs). There was no tracking information the next day, and I used their contact-us web form late that evening to ask about the status. I was keen to know the status because in the meantime I was using our very old, primitive bread maker which we keep around as a backup. It's not nearly as good as the Zojirushi. Still no response and no tracking information nor any other communication two days after the order. That was Friday. On Monday morning I received a response to my Thursday question, saying it was out for delivery and finally providing the tracking number -- which showed that they had shipped it the same day I ordered it. The product was in new mint condition and adequately packed. I was very happy with the product, price, and fast shipping. But I think their communication could be a bit better. If you say you're going to provide the tracking number when it ships, it's disconcerting if you don't do so. It raises a red flag with the customer that something may have gone wrong with the order. read more

A year and a half later I still had those jars because they arrived after I needed them, but I had been contacted twice by David Goodman. That's right, THE Mr. Goodman was trying to make things right. I blew him off the first time, but the second time I got the point that he really was concerned and I thought maybe we could work things out. I'm not into the whole come back and we'll give you a discount thing, because, if it didn't work out the first time, just being cheaper isn't reason enough to try again. So, Mr. Goodman agreed to take back the jars and issue a refund. This was great because I live in San Francisco and really have no business storing a gross of jars! Not only are the products Italian-made with superb quality and are working fantastically, but they came within the week of my order. No hassles or worries, products came directly to my apt door sealed well with tons of packing foam inside the box so nothing would be damaged in the shipping process (which I have had problems with other companies when ordering online before). I needed to replace some non-scratch polyester/polyurethane scrubbers that were made in Israel. I had a hard time finding what I needed because all the others I found were made in China, even when they said Israel (this was confirmed by the store staffs when I called to ask about their location of origin). I looked everywhere for an obscure part for my original Kitchenaid mixer, I was delighted to find the part (or so I thought) on Goodman's website. The site specifically states that the part fits my model number, but upon arrival I found that my money was wasted. Despite claims, the part does not fit at all, and now I must spend my own money to send it back for a refund, in the end I would have spent nearly twice as much in shipping as I would get back for the part, which was not as adverted.... Very disappointed, sure I'm only out $10, but I hate that I spent it on a lie. I was real upset & made a complaint on Google Trusted Store & David refunded me. I also wrote a review on Yelp (see below) and initially gave 1 star; I'm just realizing I never posted it and I'm glad that I'm able to try to use them again in the Original Review- {I am very disappointed with purchase. I received a part that did not fit and they will not give me a prepaid shipping label. I told them how I felt and they don't care. I will never use them again as a matter of principle. They send me the wrong or defective item and I must pay $7.25 twice for shipping both ways ($14.50) for a part that costs $11.99 This is why I prefer Amazon Prime. Saw they carried mason jars so decided to visit their store in Hialeah. Since glassware is heavy, it didn't make sense to ship them since I am also in Miami. I was planning a party and wanted to do a country theme using mason jars. I was able to see and choose from many styles. Luis was very helpful and brought me several samples to view. I bought my Super Solano X blow dryer from Goodman's (www.goodmans.net) where it was $50 cheaper than Ulta, Sally's, etc. and I didn't have to pay sales tax because it was shipped outside of Florida. I learned they've been in business for over 20 years in Miami and decided to give them another visit while here again. They have a still have their showroom full of interesting items such as mason jars and accessories, blenders, beauty supplies, and small appliance parts. I called in to make sure they were still around and spoke to Bonni, and then dealt with Susy at their location. Susy was helpful in showing me different hair dryers, and even let me turn on a few of them so I could compare weight and noise. It's hard to find a small business like this and I was impressed with the organization of their store and the help I received. Kudos for fast shipping at the regular price. But the replacement oster jar was chipped - at the lip - otherwise I wouldn't have cared. Not sure if it was put into the box that way, or if got chipped because there wasn't any packing material on the top of the jar between it and the box. I am returning it tomorrow, BUT...although there's a return label on their website, there's no mention of WHO PAYS FOR RETURN POSTAGE ON DAMAGED ITEMS. Anybody know the answer to this?
