Ordered a replacement carafe for my coffee maker. The website stated it fit my model. Got it really fast and it was safely packaged! (hence any stars). To my dismay, the carafe did NOT fit my coffee maker. I emailed them and never heard back. Called and spoke with customer service (name withheld, but she was quite unfriendly and I don't think I was at all aggressive), she said I would have to pay the return shipping even though I wanted to exchange it for the correct carafe that they messed up. Nope. I'm not paying the of the cost of the item to ship it back when it wasn't my fault THEY messed up. I hope management reads this and will either rectify it or reimburse me for return shipping. Until then, never shopping here again for fear of again getting a wrong item and being out my money for it since it costs that amount to ship it back! Not to mention not being able to use the item anyway and having to order one from elsewhere. Not worth saving a buck or two from this shop... FYI, management, my model is a Cuisinart DCC-1100 12 cup. I will be emailing the customer service rep's line manager shortly to also try to resolve this. I will update this review if/when this gets resolved. UPDATE: Received a direct phone call from David not 30 minutes after this review. He was extremely helpful in clarifying the situation. He offered to send me the correct carafe (which is actually a few $ more) after objectively explaining how I misread the website. I accepted full responsibility. However, because of his generosity, and despite him saying I don't need to return the other one, I will be returning it on my own dime. It took 30 seconds for him to call me - something that is lost on a lot of small business owners and employees. Not only will I shop here again, I'll recommend them to my friends as well. Never under estimate the power of a phone call or the kind gesture. I was very impressed and would like businesses like these to remain in business. Thank you David and Goodman's! read more

Holy cow the best internet service ever. I needed to replace a part for my Oster Blender. I emailed them the model number since wasn't sure what item to order and got a reply the same day. I placed an order for the part and believe it or not the item arrived the next day!!!! That is what I call customer service. You can trust this retailer for sure. Their shipment was faster than lightning. read more

I visited their store after finding them on the internet years ago when I visited Miami. I learned they've been in business for over 20 years in Miami and decided to give them another visit while here again. They have a still have their showroom full of interesting items such as mason jars and accessories, blenders, beauty supplies, and small appliance parts. I called in to make sure they were still around and spoke to Bonni, and then dealt with Susy at their location. Susy was helpful in showing me different hair dryers, and even let me turn on a few of them so I could compare weight and noise. It's hard to find a small business like this and I was impressed with the organization of their store and the help I received. I would definitely come here again or order online when I'm back in Ohio. read more

Purchased a massager online from Goodman's and was shipped quickly. Because I'm located in Miami, I later visited them at their showroom to purchase another for a friend. They have a large warehouse with what seems to be thousands of products. Staff was courteous. I would definitely purchase from them again. read more

Please, avoid this company for your appliances' purchases! I ordered online at goodmans.net a small item that was out of stock without informing the customer with a big sign (like Walmart.com always does). After contacting them many times by email and phone calls I decided to cancel the product, then their excuse was, "The item is still backordered, we will ship it asap". They ordered the tracking number at UPS and never sent the product to the carrier. So I was checking UPS for a week and my product was stuck in the same facility. Also, when I canceled the item on the 28 day of waiting, they refunded partially. I called again asking for the shipping refund as well and they tried to justify again their horrible work. I will never ever will be in contact with this company for any reason. AWFUL EXPERIENCE! A wasting of time, patience, energy, and the money going back and for unnecessarily. Stay away from them if wanna avoid a total headache or a nightmare. read more

So I was in search of a good quality hair iron at a good price. After shopping it around, I found it in Goodman's website. www.goodmans.net I also bought a professional cake mixer at $50.00 less than other stores. I highly recommend Goodman's as he carries good and reliable name brands! read more

Honestly, I initially ordered a re-manufactured Remington 5800 shaver through Amazon which was not in stock. So I cancelled that order with Goodman's and re-ordered a Remington re-manufactured F-500 with an advertised 90 minute battery life between charges. When I received it and charged it completely, I barely got two shaves when the battery died at 16 minutes. I re-charged the battery, and again, barely got two shaves before the battery died at 16 minutes. Further, those were the worst shaves by any Remington Shaver I have ever owned except for their foreray into rotary shavers. Due to a breakdown in communication, I contacted Spectrum Brands customer service who replaced the FR-500 with an F-5 per the 90 day warranty information on the FR-500 box. However, I get only 4 shaves shaves in 60 not-very-close minutes! Quality shaves from Remington have really deteriorated lately - or is it me? read more

Great selection of product, fast delivery and excellent customer service!

I understand and appreciate the challenges of providing "review feedback" but my experience was only positive. I found Goodman's when Internet searching for a bread maker belt on an obsolete model. The replacement belt was critical for continued use or the trash pile. The website was straight forward and easy to use, the price for the item as well as shipping was reasonable. It was received in a timely manner and installed in 5 minutes. I will keep them in my reference file for future appliance servicing. Sunbeam/oster 56386-049 Breadmaker Belt read more

Never order again! Ordered a product and received an email that I would receive a refund on shipping. Customer service was aware of the mistake the computer system was making. Argued with me over refund. Then I get an very unprofessional email from David Goodman, that I am taking advantage of a technical error. If your company sends out incorrect statements and you and your staff are aware then fix the problem. You do not blame the customer. Also DONT blame the customer for your error and then tell them as a courtesy you will refund the shipping. Goodman's sent out the email. The only reason I was given a refund, is because of the negative effects my concerns would have had one the business, besides this review. If your company makes a mistake, live up to your mistakes. Don't tell a customer they took advantage of your error. Furthermore, the staff was aware of the concern. I would not recommend this company because of the arrogant attitude of the owner.. Fix your computer and learn from your mistakes. NEVER blame a customer for reading and reviewing information generated by Goodmans. Next time I will order on Amazon and receive some customer service and not receive attitude from customer service representatives and the owner of the business. The owner told me that he was a small family business and it will stay that way with the unprofessional email. read more

We had a broken handle on a vintage pressure cooker. No problems finding and ordering the replacement part. It arrived promptly, but dummy-me ordered the bottom handle rather than the one for the top. The exchange process went smoothly and I was not charged shipping for the correct item. read more

I ordered some parts for a Fagor pressure cooker on Saturday, December 26 and received them Saturday, January 2. Florida to Arizona. Considering the time of the year, I think that's excellent. We ordered beaters for our mixer from Goodman's. We checked the model number of the mixer against what the Goodman's web site said these beaters would work with, and we ordered the right ones. But when the beaters came they did not work. The mixer would not grab them and hold them tightly even though our old beaters could still be grabbed when inserted (it was the blades of the old beaters that were bent, thereby needing to be replaced). A visual inspection of the old beaters vs. the ones Goodman's sent clearly showed that there was a slight difference in the way the new ones were made, at the end where they inserted into the mixer. The Goodman's website says they will pay return postage for defective items. I called them and asked them about that and they said I had to send an email to one of their departments, explaining the situation, in order for them to pay return postage. So I sent them an email, explaining that our old beaters locked into the mixer just fine but the new beaters, which weren't made the same, did not, and that should qualify for Goodman's paying the return postage. The email I got back ignored everything I said, and simply contained instructions for how to insert the beaters into the mixer even though I had told them we could do that with the old beaters. So not only were they not going to pay the return postage, they weren't even going to talk to me about it. I sent the beaters back at my expense, and Goodman's did refund the purchase price. The moral? Don't expect Goodman's to pay return postage for defective items, even though their website says they will. read more

I ordered Nesco 2 add a tray item # NS-TR-2 on September 29 and I have not recieved it yet. Very disappointed.

I'm afraid that my experience with Goodman's has been quite subpar. There "no-hassle" return policy has been anything but. A part returned to them in July(!) has still not been refunded at present! First it was, "We're going to send out a refund." Then it became, "Oh...we THOUGHT we had sent out a refund." Next, it morphed into, "We JUST sent a refund out to you today!" A week and a half later...I called to find out where the check was and the answer was, "You have to wait at least ten business days. If you don't receive it by Friday, then call us back and we'll send you a replacement check." Well...Friday is here and still no check. I'm SO tired of calling up Goodman's to get this solved and I'm beginning to think that they couldn't care less about solving it. After all, my emails to them don't even receive a reply. Customer service strikes me as pretty disinterested. Really, the whole company strikes me as disinterested. So now, I am disinterested in doing business with Goodman's. Really now, is it THAT hard to issue a refund??! read more

Just gotta let others know out there that these guys aren't into customer service. I ordered three items from them from paypal. They said the items were in stock, took my $100 bucks, sent me a confirmation receipt for my records and then 10 days passed. I heard nothing. They didn't answer my emails asking about order status. Their website is outdated so you can't check order status. When I finally got ahold of someone they weren't too concerned and lacked the compassion to work anything out. I was told that the items I ordered were not in stock, backordered and possibly would arrive in a month. Huh? I received no further communications from them after my initial order and I thought everything was on track. Instead of convincing me to hang in there or apologizing, the employee told me that they could refund my money to my paypal account. Another huh? Wow. All I need is one bad irresponsible experience like this from a company and that's it. The guy wouldn't even confirm that they would send me an email confirming our talk on the order cancel. Unbelievable. Hey try them if you want but I put a red flag out there with one star due to the lack of compassion and care to the customer. I can get the products anywhere. read more

Their website changed my shipping from 4.50 to 18.75 when I hit the "submit" button (this was for a 7.38 part). I immediately called them, but they weren't available on weekends. So I immediately emailed them. They emailed me that they would correct it. They didn't. So later I called them when they were available. I was told they would correct it. They didn't. I called back, the woman on the phone said she couldn't do it but her boss could/would. He never did. It's been two months and I'm still fighting them over 14 dollars of shipping that I never agreed to. Not really worth the hassle if you ask me. Deal with someone reputable and avoid the hassle. read more

DO NOT BUY !!!! I purchased a Wahl Trimmer from them, and It was a used one with clippings in the unit. I was extremely shocked and called the company to find out why. The representative to me to email them my complaint. Newsflash.... Found Goodman's while shopping online for a Jiffy Steamer, while placing the order I noticed they were located in Hialeah Miami. I have kids and honestly with my free time I would prefer not to have to spend it going to a store looking for the items I need. I found that Goodman's website is easy to use and I never have to deal with the lines, poor customers service, or the people at all the local stores. Whenever something has popped into my head that I "need" to buy I just look here. I have bought from a waffle maker to the HAI flat iron. Hands down this place is well worth it, 100%!!!!! read more

I was hesitant to order from Goodman's because of several recent negative reviews, but they had what I wanted and at a competitive price. I placed my online order, then followed up the next day with a phone call, telling them of my concerns but that I hoped I would have a good experience. Bottom line is, there was a problem--I received shipping info but item was not shipped, so I had to call and email the managers. Once that was done, my order was packed and shipped expeditiously, and arrived quickly in excellent shape (all items were fragile). So, though their communication on order status and speed of processing was not optimal, they did ultimately respond to satifsy this customer, and I am glad I ordered from them. read more

Will never order from them again. Ordered a part for my waterpik that was supposedly in stock. A week later, get email saying it was back ordered. Gave them a week, called them and was told that it shipped, to be delivered in a couple days. Waited, never delivered. Called today, told that it is still back ordered. Why lie to me last week? Why say it shipped when it didn't? What a waste of time. read more

I had ordered an incorrect sized Kitchen Aid beater. I called and was informed that they would exchange the beater, pay for the postage back, and send the correct size back. I wanted to get a dough hook for the same mixer. The customer service lady was very nice and told me to return the incorrect size, attention EXCHANGES and put a check in for the dough hook. So, I am out of the beater, and the check. PO # 114-1951318-80530 read more
