He was especially patient with the kids, taking the time to explain each step and making sure everyone felt included and confident. Not only was the experience fantastic, but the pasta was absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better personal chef or a more enjoyable lesson. Highly recommend!

Since lunch was so tasty, I decided to order a dinner. Dinner consisted of, HANDMADE PASTA: Rigatoni. Spicy sausage and Parmesan cheese. Handmade focaccia bread with Italian herbs and balsamic. APPETIZER: Farmers market salad DESSERT: TIRAMISU! For $8.99 To pick up, you go to Partake Collective and a person collects the items and puts them in a bag for you to take home. Well DINNER WAS A DISASTER! There was no Spicy Italian Sausage rigatoni, no bread, no tiramisu. The guy was trying to send me off with whatever he had from Pasta Mark. That's when I had to cancel my order. They also raised their lunch pricing from $4.99 to $6.99. So in the end, lunch was great. Dinner, very disappointing! Suggestion: maybe create the bags with the purposed food instead of having Partake trying to give just any food to your clients.

As we began planning meals for a week for a party of nine, I probably tweaked the menu three different times and at least once while we were there on vacation- she was unbelievably accommodating with everything thing I changed and every request I made. She accommodated every single change with pure flexibility-to include a Father's Day brunch with omelettes and homemade Bloody Mary's and mimosas! Food - the food was great. Seasoned, beautifully presented and packed with flavor! Every meal -breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. Each night was a different homemade dessert-My son said the cheesecake was the best cheesecake he had ever had! Service- Chef Jen was extremely professional. She treated her Sous Chef, Chef Zelda with nothing but respect. They prepped, cooked, packaged leftovers and cleaned EVERYTHING. Me and my family were able to just enjoy the food. Extra- when a member of my party became ill, Chef Jen made a bowl of homemade chicken soup. It was such the perfect touch for my guest and extremely thoughtful. I would hire Chef Jen again in an instant and would highly recommend her for any event you want catered.

We realize this was a huge inconvenience for Chef Jen, but the way she handled it made us feel pretty bad. See picture of text message for an excerpt of our exchange with Chef Jen. She thanked us for our "measly cheap ass" tip. Not only did we use her for our wedding, but we have referred her for multiple events that she has since booked with our friends & family. Pretty disappointing that this is the way she has chosen to conduct herself.

There are only a handful of places to take private cooking classes and there were only a couple available to teach us. I found another place through this cozymeal, and they were able to find me a chef but I had no clue where we'd be (location wise - kitchen, house..). I just couldn't trust that we'd be in a location as cute as La Cuisine. So I decided to book with them since Yelp has such cute pictures of the inside.. my only worry was the very few reviews. But I took that chance and when we arrived everything looked exactly what people posted on here..but even cuter! Chef Paru & Sophia were so welcoming and per the group - they were both attentive but also giving us enough space to try on our own. Also, didn't realize my cutting technique was wrong until taking this class haha! I rarely cook, but now I know going forward! I'd definitely recommend this place if you're looking for great instruction and something a somewhat intimate vibes and not within a standard industrial kitchen. GF & Instagram friendly lol Thanks Chef Paru & Sophia!

Along with a few other parties learned to make a Caesar salad, steak, and chocolate soufflé. We were greeted with essentially bottomless pours of wine and a charcuterie board. It was a fun few hours of bantering with strangers and in the setting of cooking. Very low stress with simple instructions (even though I butchered the egg count, but the hosts were nice enough to give me a new bath of eggs). Meal was served thanksgiving style with plenty to go around. We were all left very full and tipsy afterwards. Would def recommend again with a group a friends. And the aesthetic is very cute!
