Chef Charlie was amazing! She was so attentive to our class and she spend extra time coaching my nephew who is going to culinary school. I really appreciated her energy that she put into the class. She is hilarious and just made the class a great experience. The pasta we made was amazing! Definitely book with her!

The pictures speak for themselves, but I will give a brief narrative. Chef Charlie Ray is a force to be reckoned with!!! You will NOT be disappointed!! The presentation was picture perfect and meals were scrumptious!

He was especially patient with the kids, taking the time to explain each step and making sure everyone felt included and confident. Not only was the experience fantastic, but the pasta was absolutely delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better personal chef or a more enjoyable lesson. Highly recommend!

Pasta Mark recently joined a food app called "Too good to Go". First test was a lunch offering…read morewhich had rigatoni pasta with a nice vodka sauce and spicy sausage, handmade focaccia bread (that was so delicious) and a salad for $4.99. Since lunch was so tasty, I decided to order a dinner. Dinner consisted of, HANDMADE PASTA: Rigatoni. Spicy sausage and Parmesan cheese. Handmade focaccia bread with Italian herbs and balsamic. APPETIZER: Farmers market salad DESSERT: TIRAMISU! For $8.99 To pick up, you go to Partake Collective and a person collects the items and puts them in a bag for you to take home. Well DINNER WAS A DISASTER! There was no Spicy Italian Sausage rigatoni, no bread, no tiramisu. The guy was trying to send me off with whatever he had from Pasta Mark. That's when I had to cancel my order. They also raised their lunch pricing from $4.99 to $6.99. So in the end, lunch was great. Dinner, very disappointing! Suggestion: maybe create the bags with the purposed food instead of having Partake trying to give just any food to your clients.

I notice a new cooking class called Marche @ Mitsuwa after reading it from the weekly flyer. I forgot about it and went there to get my Tokyo Ginza Rokumeikan jelly fix. I never had crack but this jelly was so addicting like crack. There was a new kitchen with 2 TVs on top and a giant announcement in front of it. Something about cooking class at 10 am, 2 pm and 5 pm for Saturday and Sunday. The menu was Chawanmushi for Saturday and Beef Minute Steak with Red Onion Sauce for Sunday. I asked the chef how much the cost of its cooking class and he said that it was a free demonstration. It was 4 pm so I thought I would just wait and take advantage of the free class. The class started on time and at first there were only a few of us. People started to gather around pretty quick. The recipe was very simple but it was interesting. He demonstrated step by step and xeroxed recipe was available for free. We even tasted the delicious beef steak after the class. I forgot the name of the chef but he was very funny and knowledgeable. He even showed us little tricks that would make cooking easier. This cooking class is great for both customers and Mitsuwa itself. Customers can learn new recipe and get the ingredients from Mitsuwa after class. The chef even let us know that one of the ingredients is on sale. I am sure Mitsuwa will get additional revenue at the market from this smart "demonstration" ;) "Learn it", "Try it", "Taste it". No signup needed.

My mouth dropped wide opened when I saw really good stuff on sale. They even had plain colored t-shirts for $3.25 each. My friends and I spent about an hour roaming around the store. So much to see with lots of options also for crafts. We spotted a section for clearance items where my friend bought plastic water bottles for $1.25 set of 3. So he bought two sets for $2.50. Such a great deal. We were all satisfied with what we bought at amazing prices. Can't wait to go back!

I went to return something and then browsed the isles to pick out some new items for my red, white and blue decor at home. (4th of July is my FAVORITE)!! What.A.Let.Down. A large majority of the items looked like complete trash. Many, MANY things scratched and scuffed up. I don't want to decorate with crappy looking decorations. A couple items were even ripped (see America sign photo). What the heck!? Who in their right mind would think it's ok to stock that on the shelves? I contemplated taking these items to someone but it would have likely filled the bulk of the cart. I wish I would have taken more pictures but you can see how bad just the few were that I took. Do better, Hobby Lobby. I really hope management sees this.
