Flirty Romantic French Designer Lines - oui, oui! (November, 2020)
    Jennifer Y.

J'aime cela French market and boutique. Light and airy is their setting. Sweet and welcoming is their service. Sublime and unique gifts to be found. Sur chaque visite, hard it is to resist picking up an imported jam or two or adding a piece from their flirty and romantic clothing collection for myself. CHEERS!

Cute little store in the Art Bishop with a lot of French beauty products. They have a lot of testers available for you to try before buying. I wish they had more French perfume. I ended up getting an all purpose balm for lips skin nails, it was decent size for $18, price similar on Amazon but here you can try testers. The shop girl was also very friendly.

I was happy to see that Brandy B. has snapped a photo of the clothing on display in the back of this delightful new French import store in Bishop Arts District. I was nearly done in after an after dinner walk, when Marcel Market popped up. I felt renewed by its sqeaky clean appearance and faint new paint smell. Even more infectious was the enthusiasm of the young French woman keeping me informed. I took a few photos up front and then got totally absorbed in the inventory and took no more. This is the perfect store to purchase something unique for yourself, a gift for anyone else or to build a gift basket for any occasion. I loved this store. Foodstuffs, housewares, unusual candles, jewelry, shoes, clothing and macaroons! The jars of spreads and preserves were moderately priced and sounded delicious. I wanted to list the business and get this interesting Market out to you, Yelpers! It's a lovely place and I hope to return soon. I did visit their website and found photos of clothing and shoes there.

I've never been to France but I'd imagine it would be as beautiful as this store. It's bright and spotless. Everything is in perfect order from the moment you walk in. There is a small market upon the Bishop entrance with food and beautiful macaroons on cake stands. In the middle of the store is beauty products. Most, if not all, are clean and smell divine. There is also jewelry, hair accessories and journals. Towards the back of the store, there is clothing and handbags. Some of the pieces were a little pricey but absolutely beautiful and legit. Definitely Parisian chic. We were greeted and assisted by a lady with a French accent who was so nice and welcoming. She was very friendly and had a huge smile, which made our visit that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back for some one of a kind treats!

This beautiful and stylish French boutique is full of surprises. You will find fine food as well as french imported clothing and jewelry, and more. The owners, Grégory and Amélie, of this elegant boutique are very knowledgeable of their products in addition of being very welcoming. Also , everything is reasonably priced. Go visit Marcel market, you will not regret it.

If you like to collect manga and want to see a huge variety of selections, this is the place. I really like that they also have a selection of manga in Japanese! The art book aisle is awesome. It's hard to find art books in other bookstores, and even places like Barnes and Noble won't have a selection as varied as Kinokuniya. Despite the endless aisles of manga, I've surprisingly noticed that they're missing a few decently known manga. Unless I keep missing it, I've never seen The Case Study of Vanitas in their aisle, but they have the author's other work, Pandora Hearts, in there, for example. I would also say Kinokuniya is limited with their selection of anime goodies. I like that they're all very much authentic and different from your typical anime store selling pop figures and easy to find Bandai/Banpresto stuff, but their blind box selections are also becoming easy to find in other places because it's all the mainstream shows. Overall, if you're looking to expand your collection, this is the place to go.

The store is big enough to move around in easily, but not so big that it is overwhelming. The buyer for this store should be commended because I wanted to buy everything. I didn't do that, but it seemed like the options were endless. I did purchase a beautiful pothos plant . But they have baby goods, stuff for pets, funny and kitschy journals, mugs, posters, jewelry, clothing. So really, you could spend quite awhile browsing. Staff was friendly and greeted my husband and I and were welcoming. A definite must check out if you are in the Deep Ellum area.
