They were the lowest bid but the red flag should have came when I felt I could smell alcohol on Bob. Maybe it was mouthwash... at 1st the communication was great but once the job was completed but my leak was still not fixed I became a second thought, there was always another job. The owner TJ was actually helpful and professional he did get someone out right away but sadly the leak took 3 more attempts to repair. This went on for over a month... My bill was $1200 but if the repair couldn't be fixed after the 1st attempt $400 would go to a new contract for a full roof replacement of around $8000. I would have been a fool to sign a new contract. Sadly a crew was dispatched a 4th time and thank God one of my security cameras saw their 25ft ladder fall and damage my wife's car. It was like pulling teeth to get my roof fixed and the insurance information to file a claim. One of the supervisors Ricardo came out and he was very apologetic and not only did he repair my roof he produced the information needed for my claim. We need our small and local businesses to succeed and hopefully they will but when it came to my experience with Bob there was no consistency or any level of comfort. As hard working paying customers people deserve more, therefore I would not recommend Aero or use them once I need a roof replacement. Maybe you'll have better luck but your research

Basically the whole top of the house. The owner TJ gave me a really good price relative to other estimates. The work was done in stages. It took 6 days but each day they completely cleaned up, and it was not easy because of camellias and azaleas growing against the house. They covered the bushes to protect them. When the job was done, I had an issue or two, as I am kinda picky, but I went ahead and paid my balance and hoped they would come back. They did and fixed everything to my total satisfaction. A really good job and very reasonable for the amount of work. I will be going back for more renovations as I can afford.

I'd heard several good things about Custom Stoneworks and Design from my neighbors so I got in touch with Tony, the company's owner, and he came over to my place to come up with a plan and work up a cost estimate. After seeing my situation and discussing what I was looking for Tony got back to me fairly quickly with a price for the job. The cost was reasonable, but construction work had to wait a few weeks because he had a backlog of projects. Once the job was done I was extremely happy with the results. My backyard looks great and as far as I can tell no corners were cut and there was no sloppy work. There were a few minor unexpected issues with a drainage pipe but those were easily dealt with. The work did take longer than originally estimated (what was supposed to be a one day job turned into 2 & 1/2) but all I had to do was unlock my back gate before I left for work in the morning so the delay didn't really impact me. Another thing I was happy about was that Tony seemed to be familiar with the challenges of working on small city rowhouses. There's no convenient place to park a truck near my house and the only access to my backyard is through a narrow walkway. None of those were a problem although I'm sure it made life harder for the guys doing the work.

I had followed Montana Concrete Pro on Facebook and loved their work. When I suggested looking into them, she insisted it would be too expensive, but we called to get a quote just to see. Ahmad came out and we explained that we were in the beginning stages and weren't really sure what we were looking for (concrete, decorative concrete or pavers). We saw other project that had sitting walls and firepits, but weren't really sure what we wanted. Ahmad was very understanding and transparent. He worked up a quote for each style and gave us pricing guidelines on added features (sitting wall, firepits, etc). He spent a few minutes explaining the benefits of each style. We let him know we'd have to talk things over and we'd get back to him. We did call two other companies to get prices Montana Concrete was similarly priced to one and more affordable to another. We chose Montana and Ahmad because they were more responsive, professional and transparent during the estimate process. We worked with Ahmad to create a final design, price quote and schedule the job. Because it was busy season (mid-June) we would have to wait until the first week in August. Two weeks later we got a call from Ahmad explaining they had another job in the area next week and he'd like to do our job at the same time since his crew would be in the area. We agreed and the job started the following week. The job was originally planned to take 5-7 working days, but there were a few minor delays due to rain and extreme heat. Even with the delays the job was completed in 8 working days. Ahmad was responsive and transparent about the delays. The finished product is amazing. Montana Concrete came back numerous times after the patio was complete to reseed grass, clean spots from the pavers and remove excess materials. They made sure we were satisfied in every way possible. My mother has received so many compliments from friends, family and neighbors. One neighbor commented that it looked like "something out of a magazine." I would recommend Montana Concrete to anyone.

We called Paul, and he quickly came out to our home. He walked around with my husband and I and listened to all of our concerns and ideas. He then sent out an estimate and was so responsive when we changed our mind about the pool area and added on some work (filling in a hole in our front yard where a paving truck had run up into the grass). His crew came out promptly, and was so courteous and hardworking. They helped wave me out of my driveway when I left for work, making sure no equipment was in the way. When we had to take out our new puppy, they were accommodating. They also worked through some rain and cleaned off our front porch/driveway! When the rain became a downpour, they left but came back super early the following morning to finish everything. The pricing was reasonable and everyone was so amazingly pleasant to work with. We couldn't recommend this company more!

We needed a liner in one chimney, to meet the current code for the furnace, as well as extensive brickwork on two chimneys. We had a previous estimate by another company, which was considerably higher, and they didn't follow through with emailed estimate and photos as they promised. The company that replaced our furnace recommended ER Chimney. The chimneys were too tall, and the corbels on the top directed water right at the masonry joints. Bernie suggested that rather than repairing and repointing, he remove the top few rows of bricks, and finish it in a way that directs rainwater away from, rather than towards the rest of the chimney. We were pleased with the work, which he explained thoroughly. They worked for several days, cleaned thoroughly at the end of each day,and were careful about not dirtying the house when they did interior work. We were very pleased with the job.

I paid ER $135 to sweep and inspect my chimney. They claimed my chimney had cracks, gaps, damage…read moreto a "shifted" tile in the 5th row, and is unsafe to use, writing a $4775 estimate for repair. I hired a 2nd certified chimney company to inspect, without saying anything to them about ER's findings. This 2nd company found my chimney to be in perfect working order - and after I revealed what ER had claimed was wrong the owner came and looked at it a second time to be sure (for no extra charge), as did a carpenter. All these inspections verified my chimney is in perfect working order. Incidentally, there are only 4 rows of tiles, so obviously there can be no damage to a 5th row, nor gaps between the 4th and 5th rows of tiles as ER claimed, since no 5th row exists! Additionally, I was told in the follow-up inspections that my chimney, particularly the smoke box, still needs to be swept - and this was 3 days after ER had supposedly done so. 2 men from ER were inside my house "inspecting" while a 3rd man was on the roof to sweep. I was told he was in training although he was up there alone. I never saw any brushes, nor did they sweep the smoke box from inside my house. And another warning, which I learned the hard way: BBB ratings mean less than nothing, the best and only thing you can do is to ignore them. Despite submitting proof to BBB with pictures showing only 4 rows of tiles, and the report from the subsequent inspections that my chimney is fine shape (NOT in need of any repairs) BBB closed the case saying it was a "he said, she said" situation. So ER Chimney maintains their VERY misleading "A+" BBB rating. ER really deserves an "F-." BBB offered me an option to pay $75 and go into arbitration with an ER representative. Of course, I do not want to spend more time and money especially after I've already submitted all the proof that should be reasonably needed to show BBB that ER failed miserably in every way possible to render the services I paid for, that I deserve a refund, and ER deserves a much lower rating. So BBB failed miserably with their supposed mission of informing and protecting consumers. I give them an F- also. ER has refused to refund the $135 I paid for (supposedly) sweeping and their bogus inspection. Now I still have to pay a legitimate, honest company to sweep, and have already had to pay for the 2nd-opinion inspection. SO CONSUMERS BEWARE: Avoid ER Chimney Services!!! (also listed as ER Chimney and Hearth in Dundalk, Maryland) Also, don't trust BBB ratings!
