That would be the right thing to do. Ghosting a customer is no way to do business. Frank J. Bottiglieri, M.D.

We needed an experienced local lawn care service we could trust to do a one-time clean-up and then regularly maintain all the outside landscaping until the house sells. We are located in New Mexico, so all I did was Google "Rosedale Lawn Care Service" and Wood Lawn Care was one of the top search results. Their business website is well-organized and very professional, so my initial online impression was immediately positive. I left a note and Nakita called me back the next day. She was pleasant and eager to help, and her communication skills are wonderful...she clearly and thoroughly outlined their services, she visited our family home TWICE to get a good idea of everything that needed to be done, then E-Mailed a detailed work proposal to us that was fair and reasonable. We approved their quote and they performed their first service visit yesterday...and we could not be more pleased with the outcome. Outside areas all look neat and tidy...no loose debris laying around from their work, everything exactly the way we want it. We are now on a regular service schedule with them and we have every confidence their future work will also meet or exceed all our expectations. I would unhesitatingly recommend Nakita and Brian (Woody Lawn Care) to anyone in the Rosedale/Middle River area that are looking for a reliable, reasonable, professional lawn care service to help tend to their landscaping.

I am an older quadriplegic and several days after the Sunday storm I was still unable to get anyone to clear my driveway and cars. I called Will around 4:30 on the Wednesday after the storm a little desperate because of a must see doctors appointment the following day. Will not only came right out (arrived around 5:00) he cleared my driveway with his truck plow then he hand dug my three vehicles out. Will worked for about two hours, his price was very reasonable and he did a great job. I highly recommend Will Be Green and give them 5 star.

I'd heard several good things about Custom Stoneworks and Design from my neighbors so I got in touch with Tony, the company's owner, and he came over to my place to come up with a plan and work up a cost estimate. After seeing my situation and discussing what I was looking for Tony got back to me fairly quickly with a price for the job. The cost was reasonable, but construction work had to wait a few weeks because he had a backlog of projects. Once the job was done I was extremely happy with the results. My backyard looks great and as far as I can tell no corners were cut and there was no sloppy work. There were a few minor unexpected issues with a drainage pipe but those were easily dealt with. The work did take longer than originally estimated (what was supposed to be a one day job turned into 2 & 1/2) but all I had to do was unlock my back gate before I left for work in the morning so the delay didn't really impact me. Another thing I was happy about was that Tony seemed to be familiar with the challenges of working on small city rowhouses. There's no convenient place to park a truck near my house and the only access to my backyard is through a narrow walkway. None of those were a problem although I'm sure it made life harder for the guys doing the work.

However, I recently called Tom Lerch about a couple of issues that I had (split wood, weeds growing where I was told there would be none). He promised to be out over 2 weeks ago to fix these issues. They haven't shown up yet. In fact, I even inquired about getting some additional work done. Again, he said that he'd be out to give an estimate. Still a no show. I get it, like all contractors they live for the big high dollar jobs. Like all contractors, they make promises they don't keep. Like all contractors, they'll get back to you when business slows down and then they act like they're doing you a big favor by even calling you. What Lerch and all contractors should remember is that it's the little jobs that add up much faster than the big jobs. I hope for their sake the big jobs don't run out. As for me, I'll fix the issues with their work myself because it reminds me why I don't like contractors in the first place. Lerch can count on me not recommending them to anyone.
