Do not store anything u value there Paid storage fees for 5…read moreyears only to have my stuff stolen and they knew and didn't notify me. Unbelievable Do not if you value your shit don't store with these people .CHEERS

From their website.... "Our indoor and outdoor self storage units are well ventilated and moisture…read moreproof, and we have heated units available." Make sure you get this in writing because in our case they said our unit was heated/ventilated for over 6 months before we discovered this was not at all the case. Short Version... 1) If the staff here tell you anything about their units, get it in writing as there is a good chance they are misleading you. Their boilerplate rental agreement doesn't make any promises about ventilation or heat, despite what the marketing material on their website and Yelp ad say. 2) If there is a heater/blower in your unit, don't assume they will actually turn it on to protect your stuff. Misleading! 3) If you do have a problem, don't expect them to do anything to address your concerns. Buyer beware! Here are the details... Rented the largest unit that this place had last April to store our house contents while we are house-sitting for a year. The unit they rented us looked perfect for how much stuff we had. However, while moving in I noticed that the industrial heater/blower in the unit wasn't actually blowing. I asked about this in the office and they said it was on a timer/sensor and not to worry. It was a warm spring day so this seemed logical. Fast forward to November and I've now complained to the office that the heater/blower didn't appear to be working several times. Each time the front desk person assured me it worked and said they would look into it. Finally after getting concerned that my entire house was getting damaged and my boxes felt distinctly not-dry, I complained again and this time the front desk person responded that she thought that building our unit was in didn't have any heating/ventilation(!!!). Since I'd been getting the exact opposite story from them for over 6 months, I was not impressed and asked the manager to contact me. They market all their units as well ventilated and moisture proof so I was confused why the climate control equipment installed in our unit was purposely not operational. I also purchased and placed a humidity sensor in the unit which registered at 65-75%. Not good! I received a call from the Manager the next Monday and was told that the unit we rented did not have any heating / ventilation at all. While she was "sorry we were given incorrect information", she declined to make any effort to resolve the situation and said there was nothing they could do as all their other units are rented. Terrible customer service! I'm now in a bind of having the entire contents of my house at risk of being damaged, or else must find another storage facility and incur the cost of re-moving my entire house... all because the unit we represented was mis-represented and they management is too cheap to flip the power switch that would solve their problem. I'm going to see if I can get by with the added cost of placing and refilling a few dehumidifying kits in the unit, but if this doesn't get the humidity down, moving is going to cost me at least $1500 in moving fees. Will never use this company again and will warn everyone I know about them. Extremely disappointing business.

I still try to comprehend why we went from roughly 8 hours estimate to pack and download to 13.5…read morehours. Multiply that by 250$ Kevin the owner is not good at providing proper estimates. Very polite and I am sure he will politely respond here as he did privately. The 1/2 drive charge before and after is a cost that is being added after the fact not in original discussions. (Happened both for packing and move) After my correspondence with him on the extra hours he turned the blame on me that the packing was not done right (unorganized) and the van was parked a bit further away from entry for download. As per packing, his own team were involved in packing majority of our stuff. They spent 5 hours the week before. Furthermore the big portion of our stuff was already stored in their pod since July. Yes They were still many boxes left in our house but very little furniture to move: - piano, dining table, 3 disassembled beds, 1 sofa, 1 coffee table, 2 bed side tables, 2 book shelves, one drawer, 3 chairs , one bbq , one lawn mower and one tv So I still don't get why it cost us this much time and money. Yes we were in unfortunate state that the spot in front was taken. That for sure slowed things down, but not 4-5 hours extra. Yes I made the stupid move to watch my kids around 6 pm instead of watching them for entire time so I let them do the download on their own. Did the download actually took from 3 to 8 pm no breaks?! I would like to believe they were truthful. I tried to resolve this with Kevin privately. . We ageeed that the guys worked hard and took only their claimed 30 min break! I raised the issue of lack of management and proper estimates and that needs to be fixed and for that I need to be compensated. He offered me future discount for a future move !!!! (Which basically is a very pretend polite way of dismissing me) I moved with this company 20'years ago. I was happy enough. That's why I went to them this time. But I will never recommend them again as it will turn to be very costly.

I would recommend them. Although they don't have professional packers, some warehouse guys for…read morepacking but they did ok with packing and good with loading the stuff in their boxes. But I can't blame them as it was a last minute call to get them do this job. Came right on time for loading and delivery as well. Unloaded and to my surprise, nothing was broken and nothing was missing (as mentioned in previous comments). Cost of moving from BC to Seattle was reasonable. All togather I would recommend them! Thanks guys!

So... WORST experience I've ever had moving…read more I'll start at the beginning: We sold our house and the day we finalized the sale, we booked the truck and a crew of 2 to help load. We moved out of province, so we paid through the nose for their return fees (NOT $40/day, but totaling $1600 for 4 day rental including mileage to Alberta, plus the workers in Langley). We had a month to pack and get ready. Truck booked for to load, including helpers, 24 hours before contracted hand-over. (Booked to pick up at the Langley office (56 Ave) 11am the day before hand-over, to give time to load and clean.) Count down is on! A couple of days before loading date, we started asking where we would pick up the truck. Uhaul has a LONG history of booking vehicles in a different city / location (IMO to up their mileage and use time for daily rentals - complete scam, as seen on a few different TV shows (W5 for one)). We called and called, got bounced from Langley to Calgary, to Vancouver, to Louisiana to all these over and over trying to find out about our truck. "No truck available" and no idea as to when or where it would be available. We're now down to the 24 hour mark before the contracted loaders were to arrive. Still no truck, no wait. We were told, via email, we could pick up a truck at Marine Drive in Vancouver at 4pm (a 2+ hour drive at rush hour). But even with the email in hand, no one could confirm availability or a proper reason why 5 hours "late" and 50 long KM away on Marine Drive in Vancouver. Remember their contract workers to help load arrive at 11am. So, we've paid for them to stand around for 4 hours and get nothing done (you pay for these contractors in advance). I went to the Langley office (56th Ave) and lost my sh*t on the staff. A few more calls (same grouping: Langley, Calgary, Louisiana and back again) ...Still nothing. 5pm, 18 hours before the contracted help were to arrive we FINALLY get an answer. We have a truck at a different Langley office. I'm assuming the 56th Ave office didn't want to see my (furious) face again. We made it to Alberta. NO Thanks to UHaul for the Nightmare They Provided. A move is stressful to begin with. Selling / Buying / Moving. It is almost 2 months of stress. But when a company goes out of its way to make a bad situation worse. I have a lot of words for UHaul and its processes and procedures, 99.99% of which are pretty harsh and NOT for the faint of heart! One of the worst experiences of my life, not just moving related... NEVER Again UHaul. Get stuffed!

Absolutely horrid service!! Vehicle was booked for 9:00 but didn't arrive till 10:00. Tried to…read morereturn but no staff in the building. Have to return using the U-Haul app which didn't work. No one to talk to!! Horrible horrible company!!
