Stopped here for quick bite. We shared the roast beef sandwich on croissant and a maple bar. The roast beef sandwich was good. It was hot and tasty with Mayo and tomatoes. The maple bat was light and the glaze not too sweet. It was a good donut. I can see why there was a line outside as the donuts and sandwiches are good and affordable. read more

Went on a Saturday morning around 10am, many popular items ran out. Coffee and cappuccino are so so. Donut holes have good texture but way too sweet. Apple pie was dry and too sweet too. read more

A solid donut shop that I didn't know existed! Allen and I came here on New Years day, since Vasy's (our #1 go to) was closed. Parking: abundant! Payment: they take cash and card! Minimum $5, and 25 cent under that. Menu: They sell sandwiches, donuts/pastries, boba drink, ice blends...and cup noodles?? It seemed like a lot of people who come here are usuals, and the cashier knew their orders by heart. HOW CUTE! We ordered a dozen of donuts ($10). The base price is for regular donuts, and the specialty ones are an additional 25 cents or 50 cents each: 1. 2 chocolate raised // good! Classic, can't go wrong. 2. 1 unglazed, 1 vanilla glazed, and 1 maple old fashion // old fashion is good! Perfect texture, but the sweetness was a bit much. 3. 1 vanilla glazed, 1 maple, and 1 chocolate french cruller // Woah! My first time trying a cruller, and it was light and fluffy! I liked this! 4. 1 vanilla glazed twist long bar // classic! Can't fo wrong. It was a bit soggy (probably too fresh), but still good. 5. 1 apple fritter // I like this! The texture was yummy, and the flavor was good. NOTE: Not sure which donuts I am missing..... Overall, would come here again! This is a great local spot, and glad that they have good attention to service. PS: Cute pink box with "enjoy" written on it! read more

Don't mess up on your order!! I somehow mixed up my drink order and noticed after I took the first sip. (I paid $5 for the drink and tipped $2) I tried to give the drink back and kindly asked if I can get the correct drink and the woman was very rude and told me I needed to pay for another drink and there was nothing they can do. Sadly no one seems to care about quality service these days but tips are always expected. Shame on them for having Poor customer service. read more

Been here a few times over the past few months. Donuts are good, but the breakfast sandwiches are my go to! About the same price as fast food breakfast, but more quantity & better quality! Ever eat a breakfast type sandwich? Feel hungry soon after? Hang a fang on a breakfast sandwich from this place! Made to order and wrapped in real Al foil. Stays hot for at least 20 minutes! Filling and tasty! Made to order so be patient! Cheers - Eric read more

Maple Leaf Donuts has become a major problem for us in making sandwich orders over the phone for our company. Although they do take your sandwich orders, *****BEWARE *****what you pick up is often the opposite of what you ordered. Example: After placing an order for a specific type of sandwich on a bagel, instead, they give us a croissant, or a plain bagel when we specifically ordered sesame seed? As this has happened countless times, we can no longer tolerate this lame service, and we've terminated them for failure to fulfil their duty to the customer. BTW, if Yelp had a no-star rating, MLD would get a minus zero. read more

Been coming for years. Great quality, range of option, and amazing and consistent service. Their french donuts are killer, so are their bagels. Not much of an adequate seating area, so I treat this place like morning take out for a coffee and donut or bagel. read more

Imagine yourself, 530 am, making a run to the donut shop for some pastries for that overtime shift you have on a Saturday morning. Pull up to the parking lot & as soon as you walk out of your car, not even 500 feet away you instantly smell the fresh scent of baked goods. That my fellow Yelpers is when you know a shop is MOM AND POP. My mom took us to Maples growing up and coming here brought warm nostalgia to my memories and my nostrils. I haven't been to this bakery in yearsssss so it's safe to say, the feeling is similar to seeing an old friend you lost contact with but never really lost that connection. Coming back today put an instant smile on my face. I ordered about 10 donuts, 4 muffins, 1 apple turnover and 1 chocolate pastry. Unfortunately, I won't be trying these delicious, tempting goods, but sharing this dose of happiness with my co workers will be just as satisfying! I however, ordered the egg & cheese croissant that I'm super excited to devour. Update: my co workers love the donuts and pastries! I'll definitely be returning to this golden gem read more

I am a donut snob. To date, the best donut I have ever had was from a shop in the small town of Chama, New Mexico almost 20 years ago. Until about 2 weeks ago I had never found a shop that even came close. Now I am ecstatic to have wandered into Maple Leaf. The test of a good donut shop isn't fancy flavors but rather a simple raised, glazed donut. It must be light and airy, like biting into a cloud, it should not have an oily feel in the mouth, and the glazed should be sweet but not cloying. Maple Leaf checks all those boxes except it's almost TOO airy lol. The perfect donut should have just a teensy more solidity when biting into it. I score Maple Leaf at a 9.9/10. I should add that the staff was very nice and very patient while I was dithering over other things to try. I will definitely be getting my donuts here from now on. Thank you Maple Leaf! read more

Great service must try. Sandwiches are fire please try them along with the donuts they ran out of a item I like and they made it happen

Great neighborhood donut shop. The family that runs this business is super hard working and very friendly and kind to its customers. I enjoy dropping by here whenever I want a fresh donut or a delicious croissant breakfast sandwhich. I see they also offer lunch croissant sandwhiches but have yet to try those. I love their hot cocoa. They have a great price point and super fast and attentive customer service in the early morning hours on my way to work. Highly recommend. read more

Hi Everyone, I've been coming here for about 9-10 years now. The donuts taste good and balanced. But my favorite all time to get here is just a plain egg and cheese croissant. I'm not sure what it is but if I ever order this anywhere else it never taste as good. I know what your possibly thinking just egg and cheese! that's so simple which honestly your right but and yes there's a but I'm telling you the way there's taste always has me ordering 2 every time. Sometimes even a simple made dish that's made just right can taste even better then other things and this croissant for me any day is it. Enjoy the croissant you can thank me later. read more

Love this place! Would highly recommend! Me and my girlfriend come here often! We love their croissant sandwiches, and their freshly squeezed orange juice is always a great palate reset. Workers are always friendly and welcoming, and the food comes out great. The ambiance is cozy, warm, and inviting. Overall a great place to grab a quick bite, or hang out and enjoy the atmosphere. read more

I typically avoid the tired looking local neighborhood small malls but we wanted some takeout from a business there. As the other half was ordering, I walked two doors down to this gem based on reviews I read. It did not disappoint! Very quaint and brought back ndmories of hitting an independent local donut shop some si many years ago in LA! They had sold about half the donuts already by the time I ordered. Really really love the apple fritatta; my other half typically do not like donuts because they are too sweet and drenched in icing but this had a good balance. read more

My neighborhood donut shop! I've been coming to this place for years and I must say I have never had any complaints. Family owned business that puts a lot of love into their creation to put a smile on our face. During the soccer season in spring and summer this place will run out of donuts due to families bringing food to tournaments and games. The earlier you get here the better. They will also take bulk orders the day before so keep that in mind. They also have a selection of breakfast sandwiches. Everything is made from scratch here so everything is always fresh. read more

Absolutely love this donut shop. Their donuts never disappoint and neither do their sandwiches. I've had quite a few off their menu and they're all great. I've never been so disappointed with the customer service here. Not only did she skip me and roll her eyes when the other person said so, she went ahead and ignored them as well. When she finally got to me, she messed up my order completely. So, I had to wait longer for the sandwiches to be made. The food here is great, but the customer service needs major help. Also. She refused to make the cold sandwich until 10. Which makes no sense, because I've been coming here for so long. I'm literally so sadden by this. read more

I just had another round of round, glazed donuts from Maple Leaf thank for one of our vendors. The only thing that distinguishes the difference between 1 donut to another has to be the dough itself. I find the dough used at Maple Leaf to have a soft & chewy texture, not air filled like the ones from Krispy Kreme. Nothing beats a Mom-N-Pop donut shop like Maple Leaf. The taste, the quality, the service is A+++ in my book!! read more

I was just at Walgreens that was in the same plaza and decided to drop by to pick up a few donuts for my kids. I walked in and was able to place my order immediately. I ordered a dozen donut holes, 1 original glazed donut and 1 chocolate glazed donut. My total was a little bit over $3. I decided to buy donuts there because 1) it had a 4-star rating on Yelp, and 2) because it was on my way in to work. I arrived there at 5:35a only to find they were still closed, yet their posted hours indicated they open daily at 5:30a. I waited until 5:45a, being told "not yet" the entire time I waited outside. And their reply when I asked what time they would be opening was "not yet." One would think they would be a little more attentive to their customers, especially with so many businesses struggling during this pandemic, but I guess they have a large enough customer base that losing one potential customer was irrelevant to them. Sadly, I never got to taste their baked goods that gave them a 4-star rating, and likely never will. read more
