The pizza here is really delicious. I now live very close by and it rivals pretty much any of the best Philly area pizza I've had - and that's a lot of places all over the region. It's an Italian family owned spot. Lots of variety of toppings by the slice at most times of day. Great crusts. Sicilian pies are special. Clean, casual family environment. Sells a small, varied beer selection by 6-pack, 12-pack, and 40s. Maybe also some hard lemonade, twisted tea or wine coolers, though I barely notice them. Prices for pizza and food in general is a little pricey, but people pay it even with a lot of very good local competition. Sandwiches, cheese steaks, strombolis and such are all tasty. This is my pizza place of choice at lunchtime during the work week. Even though the line gets long, the staff is good at managing the flow so that customers don't wait more than 10 minutes. The pizza slices are large and are not served so hot that they burn your tongue (good for inhaling as you run back to work). All in all, this is one of Philadelphia Best Pizza shops and I am here at least twice a week. read more

Tried maple Glen pizza for the first time in awhile, sad to say the pizza was not what I remembered. Pizza was oiley, burned, and was ice cold when food was picked up seemed like it was potentially a pizza sitting around they gave me. Maple Glen Pizza is one of my favorite places to eat. I don't mind paying extra because the food actually tastes the way I want it to compared Spatola's Pizza or Gio's. Its never burned or anything else. Called a short while ago. Long time resident of HORSHAM and long time patron. The young lady that answered was so incredibly rude. I'm pretty tolerant but just hung up on her. Ordered two steak sandwiches from there this evening. Website priced them out at roughly $20, but they tried to charge us $25 for it. After a bit of chatting, they relented and gave us the sandwiches at the website price. When we got the food home, my pizza steak was all burnt and thrown in its container upside down and my mother's steak was not made as ordered. I will give NO stars. The prices were inflated and outrageous, they are scalping all the customers to recoup their losses during the COVID-19 shutdown. The online menu was not accurate and when you when to pickup your order they tried to sneak the overly inflated prices on you. Beware of ordering any side orders, we were charged $8 for cold, over cooked cheese fries and they had the audacity to charge $1 for each tiny HALF filled container of cheese. The service was horrible, I waited to 2 minutes before the woman at the counter decided to finish texting and recognize me as a paying guest. Here's the straight dope: I'm rating for the value proposition at Maple Glen. They sell good local pizza. It's also abnormally expensive when you buy by the slice. They say slices are $3 to $4.50. Most of the ones you'll see in their case will cost at least $3.50 since they don't seem to make a point of keeping plainer varieties on hand. If the considerable premium is worth it to you, you'll do well ordering here. If not, your money will go farther elsewhere. read more

The staff are incredibly rude and the food is only mediocre. Tonight my wife ordered two sandwiches for me to pick up. When she asked the staff member on the phone what came on a particular sandwich the staff member was rude and said "what do you mean?! Anything." She was then reluctant to take my wife's order. Our sandwiches were made completely wrong. When I called to let then know about the errors in our order the manager was put on the phone and proceeded to tell me that my wife was "annoying" because she asking questions about the sandwiches. Dont order slices of pizza. I've been eating here for many years, mostly pizza and sandwiches which are always good. I'm not typically one to complain about prices, but the recent price increase put them over the top. Like another post mentioned, I also second guessed the cashier when I got 2 slices of plain sicilian that cost $9.01, no drink. They only accept cash which made the price increase even more frustrating to me. There are many other good pizza joints where you can get 2 slices and a drink for under $10. I went there when I was in PA last year. This is the most recommended pizza store from my uncle. He recommended many many times before I went there. And it was my first dinner after the airplane landed. Actually, the flavors are great. We chooses a mix pizza with four flavors.(Most of the time they will not do one pizza with four flavors. Usually a combo of two.) It was also a good choice for vegetarians. You can choose the flavor by closing your eyes. read more

I am not sure why there are so many one stars. Without a doubt this is the best pizza in the area. Sauce is perfect, not sweet. Crust is crunchy, cheese is top notch. Awesome. The only other pizza I love is from NYC. Been going here for years still drive from Lansdale to Maple Glen just for the pizza. Cant find anything in Blue Bell, Fort Washington, Norristown, Montgomeryville that comes even close. Oh and the people there are sooo nice. Best pizza in the MontCo area. I go for the Sicilian, taco, or boardwalk pizza. Great cheesesteaks as well. Never had anything here I didn't like. Great local feel, the MGP crew make you feel like family. Interior remodeled in 2011, place looks great. 4 new LCD TVs placed so there's no bad seat in the house: when there's a Philly team on, this is a great place to watch a game. It would be nice if they would start taking cards instead of cash, but it's a small price to pay for the quality food. ATM on premises for convenience. Parking lot could use some help, and Friday nights can be challenging to find parking, but that only helps tell you how many people love this place!. read more
