I gave this place two tries in two weeks. It is just plain BAD. Those who rave about this place must not have visited other, good pizza joints. The total experience blows. The people answering the phones don't even know what is on the menu. It is a cash-only business (can an IRS audit really be far behind?!?). The pizza is really bad, watery, oily, and not baked well. The hot wings are like tough, rubbery bones. The sauce is horrible. Maple Glen Pizza is so bad, a Pizza Hut had to open kitty-corner across the street. Long time residence swear by Maple Glen Pizza. All other have been warned. read more

This was our go-to-pizza place...but the last couple times we were there we were disappointed. First of all, the prices have gone up considerably. I had one slice of pizza & it was far from special. It was reheated...given to me...not hot enough...re-heated again. It was crispy and a bit dried out at this point. I was sorry to waste my calories. At least I was given the smallest slice in the pie so I was spared from wasting more calories. hmmm. Our friends steak sandwich looked okay but nothing great compared to other places. (thats what they said). Hubby had a slice of peperoni pizza and was thoroughly disappointed. "Just nothin special" and for $3.50 for a slice . . . well, he was not anxious to return. read more

Take-out pizzas. Thick, chewy, expensive, bland, yuck. None of us finished our pizza, we threw it out. read more

I would give the food 3 stars, since the chicken in my chicken parm was somewhat dry, and the lasagna nothing special. However, the fact they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS !! is absolutely ridiculous. Therefore 2 stars. read more

I used to eat at Maple Glen pizza years ago and loved it. $31 dollars for a wrap and the chicken and grilled vegetable salad. The salad had two pieces of chicken and the veggies were mush. I think I would just stick with the pizza. read more

I grew up on Maple Glen Pizza. Unbelievable cheese steaks, pizza, sandwiches. Fun varieties like taco pie, buffalo chicken pie, etc. This place is a TOTAL 5, save for three things: 1) They have takeout beer, but it's so expensive it makes you wonder who they think they are. Like... I swear they have six packs for like 12 bucks. You're like REALLY?? I'll just go to the wine and spirits that's like .2 miles away and keep my sense of self-worth. 2) The pizza by the slice isn't as good as the entire pie. Sometimes you get one slice and you're like wait.. What happened? Maybe it's during the weird lull btw lunch and dinner, but still. 3) Prices. The taco pie is $32.00. I just don't think any single item at a pizza place should cost that much. Like, yeah it's good, but I mean are they making it with ground kobe beef? No? Then price accordingly. Otherwise, I love this place and wish I still lived in the 'Sham so I could get there in 5 minutes. Mwah MGP. read more

The food is good but WOW are the prices outrageous. We ordered a white pizza with ricotta, spinach, & garlic as well as a chicken parm sub. The bill was almost $40, so I asked how much each item was to make sure there wasn't a mistake. Turns out the pizza was $28! I'm not one to complain about prices in my reviews, but I've never heard of a pizza shop charging that much, not even in Philly or NYC. Can't really justify going back when we can get the same pizza from Ambler Pizza for about 10 bucks less. If they lowered their prices, we'd be weekly regulars! read more

The pizza here is really delicious. I now live very close by and it rivals pretty much any of the best Philly area pizza I've had - and that's a lot of places all over the region. It's an Italian family owned spot. Lots of variety of toppings by the slice at most times of day. Great crusts. Sicilian pies are special. Clean, casual family environment. Sells a small, varied beer selection by 6-pack, 12-pack, and 40s. Maybe also some hard lemonade, twisted tea or wine coolers, though I barely notice them. Prices for pizza and food in general is a little pricey, but people pay it even with a lot of very good local competition. Sandwiches, cheese steaks, strombolis and such are all tasty. It's worth stopping in for a slice anytime. Lots of parking. read more

This is my pizza place of choice at lunchtime during the work week. Even though the line gets long, the staff is good at managing the flow so that customers don't wait more than 10 minutes. The pizza slices are large and are not served so hot that they burn your tongue (good for inhaling as you run back to work). All in all, this is one of Philadelphia Best Pizza shops and I am here at least twice a week. read more

Some of the best pizza I've ever had, cheesesteaks are also top-notch. The guys that work there have been there forever and are all business. Pros: - Tasty slices with LOTS of different options (try the cheesesteak or bruschetta, my personal favorites) - Take-Out Beer (though pricey) - Nice seating area with HUGE plasma TVs (great for lunch during March Madness!) Cons: - Cash only - Expensive for pizza read more

The best pizza in the area. They have such a huge selection and love the bordwalk pizza. The other food is good, not great. But from a pizza standpoint, my favorite pizza!! read more

Best sicilian pizza in the area. There regular pie is good too, just hard to find a good Sicilian pie around here. Also recommend the roast pork sandwich with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe. I recommend it. read more

Maple Glen Pizza is one of my favorite places to eat. I don't mind paying extra because the food actually tastes the way I want it to compared Spatola's Pizza or Gio's. Its never burned or anything else. The owner and the rest of the staff is always extremely nice to me when I come in as well which brings me back every time over any pizza place in the area. read more

Gluten free pizza is average at best and pizza is generally overpriced. They have a decent sized area to sit and you can take out beer from fridge. Good sized party room too! read more

Pizza was tasty, but i thought it was a bit pricey. I guess you get what you pay for. No complaint other than price. Pizza was tasty, but i thought it was a bit pricey. I guess you get what you pay for. No complaint other than price. read more

Wow is this place pricey! $13 for a chicken cheesesteak hoagie and a medium fountain drink. Not much meat either. Included a half ounce bag of chips. Will stay far away from this place! Highway robbery! read more

Tried maple Glen pizza for the first time in awhile, sad to say the pizza was not what I remembered. Pizza was oiley, burned, and was ice cold when food was picked up seemed like it was potentially a pizza sitting around they gave me. This pizza used to be one of the top places in the area, sad to say it is now near the bottom. read more

This place is a rip off!!!!!! The food was average at best and the prices were out of control. I was greeted by the cashier with a dirty t-shirt on and there are no prices on the menu board!!!!! When I ordered and was told how much the bill was for 2 cheese steaks and a slice I was completely taken back. To the owners: I have news for you, THIS ISN'T NEW YORK CITY. The place was cold and seemed dirty. I will never gain frequent this joint. read more

Paid $18 for a cheese steak and cheese fries. And I agree with the other comments saying the staff is rude. And if you need an example or proof that they're rude before taking our word, Google Maple Glen Pizza Reviews. You'll see the owners rude, angry, and unprofessional responses to people's comments. read more

I reviewed Maple Glen Pizza and apparently Joseph who responds to the reviews is an angry disgruntled employee/owner and responded to my review to eat a hot-pocket. He definitely put a lot of thought into his response. I laugh because the other reviews of this place talk about how rude the staff is and I would have to agree. So, I can now add to my post of overpriced food, rude and condescending staff/owner. read more

Called a short while ago. Long time resident of HORSHAM and long time patron. The young lady that answered was so incredibly rude. I'm pretty tolerant but just hung up on her. Have always loved the product but this is a service industry which apparently got lost somewhere. Jersey Mikes got a very nice hoagie and cheese steak order, and will gong forward! I wish there was a no star option! read more

Rude staff. When you call to order food they are very rude! Hoagies and pizza not rocket science. I'll give my business to someone who acts like they want it. read more

Ordered two steak sandwiches from there this evening. Website priced them out at roughly $20, but they tried to charge us $25 for it. After a bit of chatting, they relented and gave us the sandwiches at the website price. When we got the food home, my pizza steak was all burnt and thrown in its container upside down and my mother's steak was not made as ordered. The food was decent, but I wouldn't bother to order from there again. read more

Here's the straight dope: I'm rating for the value proposition at Maple Glen. They sell good local pizza. It's also abnormally expensive when you buy by the slice. They say slices are $3 to $4.50. Most of the ones you'll see in their case will cost at least $3.50 since they don't seem to make a point of keeping plainer varieties on hand. If the considerable premium is worth it to you, you'll do well ordering here. If not, your money will go farther elsewhere. read more

I will give NO stars. The prices were inflated and outrageous, they are scalping all the customers to recoup their losses during the COVID-19 shutdown. The online menu was not accurate and when you when to pickup your order they tried to sneak the overly inflated prices on you. Beware of ordering any side orders, we were charged $8 for cold, over cooked cheese fries and they had the audacity to charge $1 for each tiny HALF filled container of cheese. The service was horrible, I waited to 2 minutes before the woman at the counter decided to finish texting and recognize me as a paying guest. I will tell all my friends that like pizza to keep clear of this poorly run establishment, I suggest you do the same!!! read more

Best taco pie around! Their White pizza is also good. I always call ahead because they're always busy. They also take credit card now, which is very convenient! read more

I'd give it a 0 if possible. Never returning with coworkers. Snotty staff and rude to all customers. WE asked for a diet coke. The owner opened the mug and said its diet. My coworker and direct report said it tasted like regular. Owner refused to refill (its a fountain soda btw). We will never be back and have already stopped ordering for pick up. You can find better pizza and a lovely staff at multiple locations within 5 miles. Take a drive and safe a headache. read more

The staff are incredibly rude and the food is only mediocre. Tonight my wife ordered two sandwiches for me to pick up. When she asked the staff member on the phone what came on a particular sandwich the staff member was rude and said "what do you mean?! Anything." She was then reluctant to take my wife's order. Our sandwiches were made completely wrong. When I called to let then know about the errors in our order the manager was put on the phone and proceeded to tell me that my wife was "annoying" because she asking questions about the sandwiches. I will never go back to this restaurant and I encourage anyone reading this not to go to this restaurant. read more

Just went to Maple Glen Pizza. Almost $16 for a plain pizza with no toppings. Are you kidding me??? What a joke. Cash only??! What a joke. Sorry, the pizzas not good enough to charge $16. And definitely not worth it enough to go to the ATM/bank. I'm done with this place. read more

A few years ago I ordered 2 large traditional plain pizzas for takeout and was shocked at the $27 bill. This past month I stopped by for a large plain pizza and an order of fries. OMG $20 ($16 for the pizza)! You gotta be kidding me. The prices are unreasonable for pizza. This is not center city Phila. read more

One and done for me. Don't get me wrong, the pie is good (nothing fantastic), same can be said for the wings. Judging by the crowd the one Friday night, it's the place to go but the prices aren't worth me going back. If I do happen to stumble back here, I'll make sure to hit the Citizens nearby as the place is cash only and their ATM will charge you for a slice of pizza to use it. read more

Went in around 1130 so no cute staff just old grumpy man who make you fell unwelcome. Pizza was good, place clean, prices marked up, cash only business. They even marked up the chips from what is printed on the bag. read more

Pizza was average. Female working register needs attitude adjustment.

Everything is great! But not the price...Anyway,worth to try it!!! Slices are big!!! Also they have a cold beer!!!

It's good pizza and I never have had a bad order. My only complaint is that they don't take credit card. I don't carry cash and it's really a pain to have to stop at the atm. Change your policy please! read more

Pizza is fabulous. Love the selection of slices you can get. We have eaten here as a family many nights and have gotten take out. Negative: cost. The pizza is very expensive and they only accept cash. Not a place you can go to last minute without hitting an ATM. read more

Decent food but prices are exorbitant.A few slices and soda almost 10.00.Counter help borders on rudeness and the storefront is cold.

Dont order slices of pizza. I've been eating here for many years, mostly pizza and sandwiches which are always good. I'm not typically one to complain about prices, but the recent price increase put them over the top. Like another post mentioned, I also second guessed the cashier when I got 2 slices of plain sicilian that cost $9.01, no drink. They only accept cash which made the price increase even more frustrating to me. There are many other good pizza joints where you can get 2 slices and a drink for under $10. Besides the high price for slices, I think the rest of menu has reasonable prices. read more

When we didn't have Tonelli's, we had Maple Glen Pizza. Another great slice of pizza. They do it right and have some "exotic" slices of pizza including buffalo chicken with blue cheese. Their prices are a bit high, but they have excellent service and a nice place to sit down and eat. This place is worth a stop. read more

I am not sure why there are so many one stars. Without a doubt this is the best pizza in the area. Sauce is perfect, not sweet. Crust is crunchy, cheese is top notch. Awesome. The only other pizza I love is from NYC. Been going here for years still drive from Lansdale to Maple Glen just for the pizza. Cant find anything in Blue Bell, Fort Washington, Norristown, Montgomeryville that comes even close. Oh and the people there are sooo nice. Haters should go there on any weekend night...if its bad I don't know why the line wraps around the building. read more
