Haven't had pizza as good and greasy as this since college. There's nothing quite like NY style thin crust!

I go to Maple Glen Pizza a lot and I am very satisfied with it. I think the array of different types of pizza is amazing and I love how you can get just one slice or two of any pizza of your choice. I have never had a problem with the food. Sometimes the restaurant and tables aren't as clean as I would like them to be, but I think the food makes up for that. The service was okay. Sometimes the people are rude but most of the time they are very nice and happy. Overall, I would definitely recommend Maple Glen Pizza. read more

I've been going to Maple Glen Pizza for as long as I can remember. I've probably tried everything on the menu at least once, and have never been disappointed. Even something as simple as their plain cheese pizza is out of this world. Newly renovated, the dining room is spacious and perfect for a quick solo bite, or a sit down meal with friends and family. This is my favorite pizza place in the world! I've been going here my whole life. It has been a bit more crowded lately (which is great for the family). I've only been there once, ordered a Pepperoni pizza to go. The place seemed really clean and had a nice atmosphere. I like that they sell 6 packs, etc. The pizza was very good and definitely rivals all the other *must have* pizza places in Philadelphia. However, all in all, it's not all that special or worth raving over. Also, if you want more than one topping on your pizza, be prepared for sticker shock. It's really close by, so I'll likely go there again. If my opinion of this place changes, I'll update my review. read more

Personally think it's good pizza (not great pizza as my family opinion), and as others have pointed out a little on the pricey side, but good family atmosphere (amongst the patrons). The guys who run it are seriously Italian, who look no BS and will rough you up quite easy! Adds to the environment. Ever since I moved to MG this has been my go to place. Everytime I go, it never lets me down. I love the fact that anytime I call an order in, it's always "10 minutes:" I love a good NY style pizza and this has it! There cheesesteaks rock also! Went here for a quick lunch. Pizza was excellent. These guys know how to make a pizza. They used a real consistent bread flour that was crunchy and held its form when you held the slices. I would come back again. The decor, layout, front fasade and bathrooms need to be upgraded. read more

Literally the best pizza in the greater Philadelphia area. I've eaten here hundreds of times. My favorites buffalo chicken pizza and cheese fries. Remember to bring cash because they don't accept credit cards, but they have an ATM machine. They also just remodeled and the place looks really nice. read more

Food is priced quite high. Pizza is ok, but for the price you can do much better. Attitude of employees could use some adjusting. The owner is especially grumpy. The only reason they do not get one star is-------their hoagies!!! Best in the area. There is no Lee's or Slack's for miles, so if you want a good hoagie they are pretty much the only game in town. They have such a large customer base that they act as if the do not have to be as nice to the customers. I find the owner to be friendly but that's about it. The pizza is ok, sometimes too greasy or soggy. I would get a large pie if it wasn't exceptionally expensive. That's what defers me from going here. Which is a shame because it is an incredibly accessible location. read more

went to come in to get a slice of pizza and i was deciding what i want as i was looking i see in the back where they make the food i see the guy eating cheese that is supposed to go on the pizza and he continues to place the cheese on the pizza and also eating it hoping no one is looking. disgusting won't come back again... read more

Pizza is great, some of the best I ever had. Even distribution of cheese and sauce. Toppings were just the right amount. Some places like to either put too few or overload. They have it down to a perfect medium. I would eat their more if the pricing wasn't so high. A one topping comes out to over $16. On the weekends especially Friday nights the place is packed. read more

I, too, am born and raised in Philadelphia. That being said, this place is completely overrated and overpriced. The staff is rude, and the pizza is never consistent, and not good. The crust is very chewy, and the sauce is way too sweet. This cash-only business will not be benefitting from my patronage again. read more

I called Maple Glen Pizza for a delivery order and the girl who answered the phone stated very abruptly, "I don't have a delivery guy here right now." No apology, no please call back later, nothing. The pizza here is very good, but I am quite disappointed that they have bad advertising -- their fliers and their website claim that they make a pizza with a whole wheat crust, but I have tried to order it twice now and they always say it's unavailable. They shouldn't advertise it if they don't really make it (and they should make it!). read more
