We went for a snowy drive to NH White Mountains yesterday. Spotting this place was a perfect way to cap off our trip. Service was friendly (the lady has us try the maple creamie which is their soft serve maple ice cream). That's what my husband and I ordered. Delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness for me. We also bought a cinnamon roll with maple glaze. That was awesome too but it was a bit too sweet for me. Overall, we had a good experience and would love to stop by again when we're in the area.

Rating: 4.3 Stopped by on the way to white mountain for a treat. I had maple creamy one time and liked it so decided to stop by. It's a small shop on a plaza that offers maple creamy, ice cream, and some baked goods and sandwich. Parkings are available on the plaza. You go in order at the counter and service is relatively quick. They let us try the maple creamy while waiting. We got the maple creamy and maple walnut ice cream with homemade waffle cone. The maple creamy was as good as I remembered. Sweet and creamy with hint of maple flavor. Waffle cone helped balance out the sweetness and add a buttery flavor. I did regret ordering large because it was a-lot of ice cream but was still tasty. Overall the place was good and I liked the maple creamy. I would come back again when I'm in the area again.

We happen to pass by on our way to north NH, and was excited to try a local specialty of maple flavors! They seem to have sandwiches, cheeses, and other maple flavored treats like smoothies, floats, hot drinks, and ice cream. The soft serve creamie is what most come to try, which was delicious and very maple! Very sweet. My walnut maple hard serve had some walnuts that helped me enjoy my treat better because I wasn't too overwhelmed. They offer homemade waffle cones which was great and also added to the time here. The couple was cute and I can tell a family run this location. This place probably gets busy during summer seasons~ a must try if you're in the area!

The service was friendly and tables with umbrellas were set up outside for eating there. I had to order the maple creamie being as the name of the place is Maple Creamery. I got it as a float in nitro cold brew coffee. Boy, was it delicious! But, it wasn't quite as maple-y as I was expecting; yes, I tried the soft serve by itself to make that judgement. They serve hard Wilcox ice cream from VT and had about 8 flavors. They also had a small farm stand with corn, zucchini, cucumbers and maple syrup. Right now they are operating out of a food trailer, but are going to be opening an indoor cafe and market soon. I definitely want to check it out next time I'm in NH.

    Super Secret Ice Cream

    Super Secret Ice Cream

    (60 reviews)

Ever since I first heard about Super Secret Ice Cream, it's been on my must-try list. The concept…read moresounded so unique, and a flight of ice cream is basically my dream way to eat ice cream--I always struggle to choose just one flavor. The shop makes tiny-batch ice cream from scratch up in the White Mountains, and it shows in the quality. I went for the egg-carton flight, which came with six flavors: Slopeside Mint Chip, Trillium Coffee, Single Origin Chocolate, Honeycomb, Mount Cabot Maple, and one more I can't quite remember. Each scoop had its own personality--bright mint, bold coffee, rich chocolate, and the maple and honeycomb were especially standout. The space itself is a fun little spot, perfect for a hot day. Portions aren't huge, which I actually liked because it felt more like a treat or snack rather than an overload. My only gripe is that the flavors aren't labeled on the carton, so it can be a bit of a guessing game figuring out what you're tasting. Overall though, between the creativity, the locally inspired flavors, and the chance to try a bunch at once, it's absolutely worth the stop if you're in the area.

It has won various awards, and after just one taste of their ice cream, you'll think to yourself: "Ah, okay - now it all makes sense." I'm finding it hard to accurately describe the flavor explosion when I took a bite of the strawberry shortcake ice cream. It was sweet and tangy, with a crumbly crunch in every bite from the graham cracker. It's as if the strawberry shortcake pops you got from the ice cream truck as a kid were somehow 10 times more delicious and folded into creamy, strawberry ice cream. The place itself is adorable, with plenty of options for outdoor seating both in the front and back. There's even a board where you can spell out words with magnetic letters and a giant checkers game. They've somehow nailed incredible ice cream with a super cool vibe. Service is always fast, friendly, and happy to help you find the right flavor by letting you sample different options. This place is a MUST visit in the Western White Mountains!

This small ice cream shop is on a farm and they use their own milk to make their ice creams. There a variety of outdoor seating options such as Adirondack chairs, a swinging bench and picnic tables. There's also a play ground and a goat feeding area. The service was friendly. For scoops, you can get a cone (they only offer waffle cones that they make in house for $1), waffle bowl or a dish. They also offer shakes, sundaes and floats. The prices are kind of high; $9 for three scoops and $1 for a cone plus tax. But, the ice cream is really creamy, flavorful and loaded with chunks, which I like. My friend got a pistachio ice cream and it was LOADED with CRUNCHY salted pistachios... I've never had an ice cream in which the pistachios were crunchy! I wished I had ordered that after I saw hers come out. I got three scoops: campfire delight (s'mores), mocha chip and peanut butter Oreo. I wanted to get the blueberry crumble, but it sold out two customers ahead of me. The campfire delight had a bunch of mini marshmallows and decent size chocolate chunks. The mocha chip had a good coffee chocolate flavor and a nice amount of large chocolate chunks, not merely chips. The peanut butter Oreo had a rich peanut butter flavor. The setting was also great to relax & enjoy our frozen delights! If I lived there it would be a special occasion treat because of the price; since I visit NH about once a year, I will go to Milltuck every time!
