I expected that I would at least get a call back some point Wednesday, if the message or email was not checked when they were closed, but I received no call back, so Thursday morning I called again, and left another message. No call back. Apparently, they don't care about new business or providing good customer service. Even if they couldn't accommodate my order, an email or call back would have been nice.

I love this place…read more My husband and I make special trips to Tilton to get cupcakes when they have an especially good flavor day. They provided the cupcakes for our wedding and subsequent anniversaries and celebrations. Every cupcake has been delicious, the staff is always friendly, and the store is always clean and neat. The flavors we love the most are cookie dough, anything with peanut butter frosting, and red velvet. Their menu has expanded and the brownies and cookies are really good too. Also, it's worth noting that on our first trip in (April 2013) when my husband was in his uniform and the owner came out and thanked him for his service and offered us free cupcake cards. It was a really nice personal touch and made us happy to be supporting a local business, on top of their delicious products.

This place is everything I love in a brewery. Private parking, graffiti, brewery sticker display,…read morecool merch, decent music, arcade games and food! Driving in I asked my husband I asked what Kettlehead is known for an he said: Beer. Yet somehow, I can't love Kettlehead. A few things occured that damaged the experience: 1. The waitress spilled a sampler all over my wristlet and cell phone. She was oblivious but she has been spilling it the whole walk to the table! She seamed put out i asked of they had bleach wipes as we were in from out of town and i didnt want mty cell phone smelling like beer all weekend. 2. The waitress stated the coin change machine is wonky and they don't own it. The coin machine worked fine but it was the first game we played, Tokyo Drift, that ate our money. I reported it and seamed like the guy didn't care. He didn't offer me a $1 to make up for it nor did he shut down the machine after my report. I feel like if you have it in your place, you should stand behind it. An issue, it should become yours. 3. The pretzels are terrible. They are like sliced and fried with no flavor. They looked like little hot dogs. We go to a ton of breweries and this is the worst pretzel experience we have ever had. Also, the waitress told us the mustard was the beer cheese and vice versa. My kid was not to happy when she ate mustard! But also, the worst beer cheese we have encountered as well. Her excuse, she has been up since 4am. Well, my husband wasn't wrong. He raved over their beer. Nobody was impressed with their food.

Maaz's Chicken serves up fried chicken, sandwiches, gyros, burgers, rice platters, fried seafood, appetizers, salads, desserts, and cooler drinks (Pepsi products/Gatorade). The prices here seem reasonable. I stopped by Maaz's Chicken for lunch and dinner on Grand Opening Day when they were giving out free lunch (selected items) and 50 percent off the menu all day. The place was very busy with a line out the door. The owner had a DJ playing music near the entrance and chatting with customers. The owner is from Rhode Island and actually works across the border in Mass. The owner was looking for a place to open a chicken restaurant and chose Franklin, NH since it's a good area, bypassing Franklin, MA (for now) much closer to Bellingham, MA and Rhode Island. The lunch line was very busy and I eventually got up to the counter and ordered the Chicken Sandwich and 2 pc Fried Chicken with Fries and can of Diet Pepsi and strawberry Hood Ice Cream for dessert, all complementary for lunch. The chicken sandwich was big with a thick breaded buffalo tender with lettuce & mayo, pretty good. The shoestring fries were decent and the fried chicken had a nice crispy salty coating on the outside. I decided I would return later for dinner takeout. I returned for dinner takeout several hours later and the place was getting slammed with the line almost to the door. I ordered a bunch of food including a Beef Gyro ($8.99 plus tax), 6 Mozzarella Sticks ($6.25 plus tax), Chicken Over Rice Platter ($10.99 plus tax) and a 2 Pc Tilapia with Fries & Slaw ($11.99 plus tax). With the Grand Opening Discount, my total with tax was $20.83. After ordering, there was another line of customers waiting to pick up their food after paying. I waited about 16 minutes for my big order to be all set. They did run out of cole slaw and let me substitute Banana Pudding which is normally the same price as cole slaw ($2.99 plus tax). I checked my order before leaving and everything was there. I enjoyed my big dinner back at the office and the portions of food were generous. The Chicken Over Rice Platter was excellent, which had firm seasoned rice topped with marinated hot chicken pieces, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, white sauce. The Beef Gyro was overflowing with beef gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, red onions, and a house dressing in a soft warm thick wrap. The Mozzarella Sticks were standard and came with marinara dipping sauce. The 2 Pc Tilapia with Fries was comprised of 2 good size fried tilapia filets with a seasoned breading and a pile of shoestring fries, tartar sauce was provided too. The Banana Pudding was sweet and topped with Nilla Wafer cookies. Overall, I was able to try a variety of foods here at Maaz's Chicken including the grand opening lunch and discounted dinner food. The fried chicken though crispy outside was very salty and dry, probably due to the volume of customers ordering the same thing. The fries at lunch time were not very hot (staff trying to serve the masses at lunch) and the fries I got with my tilapia dinner were hot and firm. The Chicken Over Rice Platter and Beef Gyro were excellent and my favorites of the day. This rating is based on the dinner takeout (4.5/5.0) and not on the grand opening lunch.

Ventured from Southern New Hampshire to do a little Christmas shopping in the White Mountains…read more Needed a halfway point for a late lunch. Found this gem on Yelp. Old style Tavern/pub. The first thing we noticed when we walked in the door was that Christmas smacked us in the face with the best smelling Christmas Tree candle , burning in a super cute entryway. I could hardly wait to get inside to see what else this place had in store. First, there was a fireplace and a couch and a table. In the rest of the dining area, we're all high tops. Not so high that a barely over 5 foot person such as myself couldn't sit comfortably. Our waitstaff (there were two) and were great about offering menu suggestions when I shared flavor profiles I might be looking for and they were attentive and so pleasant. They had super cute Christmas decorations, and were putting up more while we were there. The vibe is super warm and welcoming, and for a short while you feel like you stepped back in time. The tiramisu martini was delicious, as was the blood orange martini. I had the cauliflower with juju sauce at the recommendation of the waitress, and it was honestly the best cauliflower I've ever had! My husband enjoyed his macaroni and cheese with buffalo and bleu as well. The owner/chef, Leslie, came and chatted with us for a little bit before we were on our way. We learned that in the summer they hold concerts, and they have a golf course. There is a distillery on site as well. Everything about this place was excellent, and we are already planning a day date to go back and try more menu items!

Cool bar. I knew we were doomed when our zero percentage personality of a waitress showed up. Nice selection of drinks. I eat all over and typically don't care about pricing. However, if I pay $20 for a hamburger I expect fries as a bonus not some up charge to substitute overdone kettle chips or Cole slaw. Chicken tenders were very dry. We ordered the apple and beet salad that never came with apples (see picture). It was delicious though and very light on the dressing so be sure to ask for more on the side. The chicken ranch sandwich was average. Best meal was my dox burger, which I would have again but never will since I'm not returning. We would have tried dessert but I just wanted to get out of there after waiting forever for the waitress. I like that you pay at the table like you do in Canada or Europe but she never came back with my receipt so, inconveniently, I had to stop by the hostess stand to obtain my receipt.
