My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a few snacks per a recommendation from an old friend. The pastries were great and it's a classic, old school bakery. Unfortunately it seems like they only had a few ice cream flavors left after the season ended, but from what I've heard, the ice cream is great as well.

Wow this place is really something. I was greeted with a wall of treats so vast, the view would send a diabetic into anaphylactic shock. When I ordered my cream filled doughnut, all 10 crew members attempted to hand me it at once. I was overwhelmed with generosity and cream filled pastry's. However, upon finishing my dessert, I was hit with a wave of bowl movements unlike anything experienced by man. The cream cried for escape and I had no other option than to let it. Through blood shot eyes and shaky hands, I gripped the wall around me as the beast exited my body. The roar echoed through the land and the winds ceased to blow, the birds silenced themselves, and the sun hid away from the world. I crawled to the safety of a hardwood floor where I am writing to you of my experience. Though my death bed was a porcelain throne, I wouldn't trade the experience I had for the world.

When in Wolfeboro you must plan a visit. This place is both bakery and ice cream shop. Although a summer destination for many we visited in April and found they serve ice cream year round. Nice selection of flavors. I chose a small black raspberry and mountain blueberry on a cone. Whoa! Had to get a cup so as snot to lose some of the two huge scoops. Remember this is small! They also sell medium and large. Who knows what those look like. As far as the building, it's spotless clean and right on the water. You can sit at a small table outside or at one of many tables inside. This place can seat a lot of people. I'm told the bakery items are the best is the area as well but I'll have to wait until next time to find out for myself. .

Yum yum is a delicious local bakery offering coffee, baked goods and ice cream. They open at 7:30 and you want to get there early to pick the best doubts. $2.50-5 each but totally worth it. Much larger and way more delicious than Dunkin. They are known for their gingerbread cookies, iced or plain. We stopped in once a day while on our trip. Ice cream servings are HUGE, make sure to order a kids cup!

Great little spot. Donuts are made fresh everyday. The gingerbread man was fantastic. Good cup of hot coffee in the afternoon. Fun fact: Apparently this place is owned by the Marriott's.

Been here since my childhood, and it's still one of the best bakeries/ice cream places in Wolfeboro. Make sure you try the gingerbread cookies and the ice cream cookie sandwich, if possible.

Closest to New York pastry in the lakes region Yum yum I love this bakery Took home Cannolis made to order! Neoplolians and blueberry cream puffs each were enough for 3 people to share!! Super fresh ingredients and made with love

There's no better place for a sweet treat! The Yum Yum shop is a taste of nostalgia. I love that some of the decor has been here for years. It's positively charming inside. Big fan of all the donuts and the gingerbread cookies are divine! All the staff is super friendly. Can't wait until I can't return the next time!

The gingerbread man is as good as others have said. Definitely the star of the show! Everything else was good, but not great. Cute shop that smells heavenly inside. Wish we got to try more donuts!

Why so angry, Mr Gingerbread Man??

This is a community favorite and for good reason: the seafood is exceptionally cooked and the classic lakeside, vintage feel is approachable and still well maintained. This trip, we went to Morrissey's three times for lunch/ice cream and once for dinner. For dinner, we sat in the main dining room. Admittedly, service was a bit slower than some people liked in our party (but I was okay with waiting for it, I'm on lake time!) that was the only qualm we had at dinner was how the service was slow because they are obviously understaffed. When we came for lunch with a smaller party, we decided to sit at the bar instead which is on the other side of the building and more of a dive bar feel: an Irish pub. All of the meals were great, but we preferred sitting in the bar and got much faster service there during our lunch. Of all of the food we've tried, my favorites were the fried scallop and the Cajun shrimp bruschetta. And the Mac and cheese was yummy! But everything has tasted great! And you can't go wrong with some ice cream! Make a reservation if you're planning on doing dinner, but expect a slower pace. So maybe have a snack or don't come starving and know it will be a little slower. But worth the wait in my opinion! Or sit at the bar if you're okay with music and a little bit of a louder environment during your meal with your party.

I'm going to assume it was the bartender, who was shockingly rude, sarcastic, and disrespectful, to say the very least. Not my first experience with this bartender either. The bartender's and server's at Wolfe's Tavern are absolutely horrible. They have reprehensible attitudes and are colossally rude to customers. I asked for a simple clarification of their operating hours. This man was indignant and impolite, calling me out for bringing a discrepancy to his attention!! Uh..what?! I've been a resident of Wolfeboro, NH, for 70 years. This establishment once stood as the landmark for elegant dining, professional and competent administration and staff, and was respected throughout the Lakes Region. You once had an Executive Chef named "Hoke" many, many years ago...a quintessential gentleman with great culinary expertise, who frequently would come out of the kitchen, go table to table, introduce himself to all the patrons, and ask them if their meals were up to their liking. This man "made" The Wolfeboro Inn, almost singlehandedly. When he resigned because of a difficulty with management, the place plummeted...nearly overnight. Fast forward to August, 2025, and it is now worse than ever. I'd recommend Dunkin' Donuts on Center Street, or The Bay Diner on Main ahead of here. It's no wonder today's bartender refused to give his first name...no doubt fearful of this review(!) or one in The Granite State News, aka "The Grunter."
