Unreal Thai, can't wait to try in person. Ordered grubhub and there was a mistake in delivery and woman who worked there when found out literally drove to deliver the missing items herself! Top class. Also threw in fried banana which we didn't order. Was great! Now into the food: Pad Thai (big portion and fantastic) Red Curry (very good, my father also tried and liked) Curry puff (my Thai friend always tells me only the best more authentic Thai have curry puff, and it is so good here. Fried banana (unexpected obviously, but good)

On a frigid Christmas Eve with a torrential rain & wind storm, we feasted on delicious Thai food from Manow Kitchen, delivered promptly and correctly packed. A few of the soups, some with duck, some pork & wonton noodles, containers wrapped in saran and noodles separate to ensure freshness..beautifully done ! Perfect papaya salad, yum woosen and some steamed dumplings. My daughter enjoyed her beef pad see ew, plenty of beef and greens. Definitely recommend. Enjoy !

Great Thai food in the area. The food it more from northeastern area of Thailand. Service was decent. Ambiance was fine. Will definitely come by again when looking for Thai food in the area.

    Pad Thai dinner version

I stopped in for Pad Thai and was too late for lunch special. The dinner version had chicken and shrimp. Good portion size, nice clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Easy to park and quick service. Food was very good, my recommendation would be more tender velvet chicken texture .. was plenty of chicken . A little more marinate to chicken. Noodles I wanted a little crispier but they did offer another dish with crispy noodles... so maybe I should have order that version. Shrimp lacked flavor or previous frozen... if frozen , I would have marinated in a spice or sriracha sauce to kick up flavor and offset frozen bland taste... all good and I'll eat there again .

Love this small Thai restaurant. About 10 tables inside. We were here for lunch. We both ordered a lunch combo. Comes with soup, appetizer and main dish with rice. Everything was very fresh and delicious. We will be back.

There was only a few people inside with many coming in to pickup. The servers were super attentive throughout the meal. To start we got edamame and scallion cake. The scallion cake was a hit and filled to the brim with scallions. Our favorite entree was the pad thai. Make sure to get the mango with sticky rice at the end!!

A comparatively smaller restaurant with limited seating, probably 8-10 tables. Mostly good for groups of 2-6max. We went on a weekday for lunch and the place was 50% occupied. Our server was very welcoming and friendly. We got the Pad kee Mao, lunch combo which came with 2 fried pork dumplings,+small bowl of Tom Yum Chicken soup+entrée: fried veggies with Basil and seafood+served with rice. All food ordered was delicious. We like spicy food and the Spicy (3chilly) option worked well for us.

Lunch Specials are to be had daily at Manow Thai Kitchen, which is a treat, since weekends are often bereft of the lunch pricing. Service was pleasant, with a smile, and with welcoming thought despite the single server covering the dining room. Without our requesting special consideration, she brought out a plastic cup covered and with a straw for our youngest member when bringing glasses of water for the table. Portions were just right as each plate at the table was cleaned. Mine of the Crispy Chicken Pad Thai $9.50/$11.50, though the chicken had been left a bit too long in its hot oil bath. The noodles were good though. If any of their Lunch Special Combos are to your liking, however, you can have a two piece appetizer (Crispy Rolls or Pork Dumplings) and a soup (Chicken Tom Yum, Veggie Tofu, or Wonton Soup) for about 2 bucks on top of the entree. They still put too much ice in their Thai Ice Tea $3, but at least it is good.

I ordered the Papaya salad, Chicken satay. Curry Shortribs and Phad See Yue with beef and the mango sticky rice with coconut ice cream. The Pla Pad Kun Chai which is a fried cod fillet, with a mix of root spices and Chinese celery, had some complex flavors that didn't pan out - the fish itself was breaded in a batter that was perhaps a bit too MSG-laden, and not enough distinctive a flavor to justify its saltiness; and the Chinese celery was really tough, which didn't make for a good bite of texture. The green onions were too crispy relative to the other alliums. The Kao Soi Brisket had some decent beef pieces, but then some of the other pieces were way tough. The soup (or is it a sauce?) was way thick, and overall the dish was overly salted. There also needs to be more noodle, and more mustard green overall. The curry puff was a good idea, but the puff itself was rather dry, and not particularly well integrated with the chicken, potatoes, and alliums. The stuffing might also have been underseasoned. In general the dishes demonstrate expert preparation, but the concepts need reworking. The new environment (across the street from the former location) is a tad loud when populated with many diners, though visually it's a pleasant place to dine. The servers were attentive and respectful.

Based on one visit…read more Smaller restaurant on a Washington Street in Brighton. Pluses (+) Ambiance/Decor/Environment is cozy and warm even though its an open room. Nice quality tables and chairs as well as decorations creates an inviting environment. The warmth of the staff also makes it inviting. Food Type: What you would expect like Street food, classics. noodles and curries and a few regional specialties. Prices: Reasonable for food of this quality. We spent $90 pre-tip for three including an appetizer and a few beers (for me only). Food Quality: Very Good. We had three dishes and an appetizer and shared everything. Singha and Leo beer available as expected washed it down. I have been to Thailand on business trips and vacation and by no means have a palette capable of detecting nuances in regional dishes (I can a bit for Korean and Japanese due to extended time spent there), but could taste it was a bit playing to the American tastes. Still really good. Service: Friendly and generally fast. Minus (-) The meals came out separately. Meal one came with the appetizer. Then 7-10 minutes the second meal. Then 7-10 minutes the third meal. If eating American style ie everyone eats only their own meal, this would be a real problem. As my wife is Korean we usually eat family style (we often share meals at American restaurants, why not, you get to try more dishes), so this was not an issue really. The pluses outweigh negative it is still 4.5 rounder to 5. Absolutely worth a try. Enjoy!

TAKEOUT review * My…read moredaughter's friend recommended this place. Easy to order online. Keep in mind they are tapas so the quantity is smaller than an entree. There were 6 of us and we ordered 6 things, and fortunately we weren't ravenously hungry because otherwise we might've needed at least 3 more. We ordered mushroom salad, pad paa (a scrumptious concoction of veggies in sauce that comes with jasmine rice), crab fried rice, roasted brussel sprouts, grilled pork cheek, chicken ka praw. The order was ready for pickup within 30 minutes (which is what it predicted online). The food was freshly made, hot, ready to go at 8 p.m. and the staff were friendly and helpful. It looked like the customers there were having a fun time. We all really enjoyed every bite, particularly the pad paa with jasmine rice. It ended up being enough food for us as well.

We had a great experience at Mahaniyom. The service was excellent, and one thing I really…read moreappreciated was that the food wasn't overly salty or under-seasoned--it was well balanced. The fried chicken skin was a standout. The crispy skin paired perfectly with a cold beer. The Pad Thai was also delicious, the Brussels sprouts were wonderfully crispy with a simple but flavorful seasoning, and the beef Massaman curry was rich and comforting--I'd definitely recommend ordering a bowl of rice to go with it. The pork cheek was incredibly tender and very filling. Not every dish was a hit, though. The crab fried rice was a bit disappointing. It was essentially regular fried rice with just a few pieces of crab sprinkled on top, so it didn't feel worth ordering. The crab curry was also a letdown. If you do order it, I'd recommend having it with rice instead of the rice noodles, as I think that would make it more enjoyable. Overall, the quality of the food and the excellent service made for a very enjoyable meal, and I'd happily come back to try more dishes.

We walked into a space with a cute, unique quality to it, and the menu covers a wide range of Thai dishes including ramen, curries, noodles, and rice dishes, which gives a table with different preferences plenty of directions to go. The pad see ew and basil fried rice are both solid orders that cover familiar ground competently. The noodles on the pad see ew had decent wok character and the basil fried rice was well seasoned and aromatic, though neither dish pushed beyond what you would expect from a good neighborhood Thai spot. The mango sticky rice is a satisfying finish and the sticky rice texture was on point, though the mango itself can vary depending on the season. The Thai tea is well made and a natural complement to the spicier dishes on the table. Across everything we ordered, the food was consistently good without being particularly memorable, landing in that comfortable range where you leave satisfied but not necessarily thinking about it the next day. For a weeknight dinner close to home it works well and the portion sizes are reasonable for the price. The menu is large enough that there is probably a higher ceiling to explore on return visits with some of the more distinctive options like the khao soi, tamarind wings, or crispy duck. Service and pickup accuracy have been inconsistent based on different visits, so dining in tends to produce a smoother experience than ordering out. As a neighborhood Thai option in Needham, it fills the gap well enough.
