Do not eat here. I just ordered delivery (direct) via Door Dash and the food was so skimpy. Pad Thai with TWO small shrimp no shell on, barely any egg, and a small amount of chicken maybe five slices. It was a JOKE. I can't believe people eat here at all unless they don't know any other Thai places and haven't had anything else. I also ordered the Masaman curry and it was water! Sitting orange water! How does this place even exist? It must be the only Asian place in a five mile radius for people to put up with this. Otherwise I don't understand how it is even in business read more

The food here was phenomenal! We got two Pad Thais' and an order of Red Curry. Both orders were delicious and decent sized. Our orders were takeout so we hope to try this place again as dine-in. The only reason I took off a star was because we had made a mistake ordering online and when I called to ask about an allergy I had a really hard time reaching them. When we did finally reach them, they were really short and didn't want to answer any questions to make sure that there was no cross contamination. Besides that, highly recommend! read more

It was just okay. I found it to be extremely pricy for what's offered for dining in. It was pretty much the equivalent of eating at the mall but double the price. The "dine in" option is just ordering takeout and eating it at the table if you want to. They don't offer any silverware or plates for dining in - you just have to eat from the plastic to-go containers. I wasn't impressed with the food as it was the same quality as a $10 meal from the mall. The drinks were $4 each and so tiny too. I've gotten much bigger drinks for less! I got the feeling that the staff have given up on the place which is a shame. I don't recommend. read more

In all, very decent Thai food. I would definitely consider eating here again. To consider in my review: I ordered delivery through door dash. The time elapsed from order to plate was about 40 mins. My order: chicken satay, add peanut sauce ($1), and crispy chicken basil (no mushrooms, medium spicy) Pros: the satay was DELICIOUS. Everything about it was right. the chicken was moist and tender, and absolute flavourtown. It had the right amount of spice, and was hands-down a win from every angle. The Crispy Chicken Basil was good, flavour-wise. It had a bright spicy flavour and a nice crunch from the veggies. It was definitely a 5/10 spice level. Cons: - Of note, I had ordered the the main entree (crispy chicken basil) without mushrooms (personal preference, not allergy.... I even said "please"... hah.). ***However it did come with mushrooms.*** I'm not deducting any "points" for this, since ***I*** can easily pick out the mushrooms, but if you have an allergy, this could have been a problem. The "crispy" chicken did get soggy by the time it arrived. Perhaps this one is better ordered for dine-in.... or ask for the chicken on the side so it doesn't get soggy. The portion of chicken in the main dish was pathetic for the $15 price tag. (the equivalent of one of the satay chicken pieces I'd say... *if* that). The last critique is that it is called crispy chicken basil... of which it was not crispy, there was no basil flavour, and there was barely any chicken. So I'm definitely salty about it. In all, the crispy chicken basil looked more like a lunch portion..? Final rating: 6/10. Would I go here again? For the satay? absolutely. I'd have to look around the menu for something else to go with it though. read more

Some pretty good Thai food here. Awhile back I had the tom yum noodle soup and it was pretty tasty. Restaurant has decent amount of seating for busy lunch times. Nice tangy/sweet savory soup and good portion of noodles. I've also had the country style pad Thai recently and requested for extra spicy. That was perfect. If you like spicy and pad Thai, this was truly enjoyable. I really enjoyed the crush peanuts on the side. They have a fairly large menu, including a variety of vegetarian options as well. Overall, enjoyable restaurant to enjoy a meal. Drawback is limited free parking around the area. But they do have metered parking during the day. This location is right around the corner of Blue Ribbon bbq. Thai'me for soon good eating. read more

First off, the quantity was very less. We expected the serving plate to be full of noodles and veggies. Had to order 2 because of less quantity. Veggie Pad kee mao - the flavors were not great, just an averagely good dish. 3/5 for this Panaang curry - again, average/mild taste. The beans seemed a bit uncooked. read more

I should've read the reviews first. This food is just not good. The portions are tiny. For example, just six pieces of tofu, with the fried tofu appetizer. They did not include utensils or napkins as requested, nor was there any rice with the entrée. Everything was soggy and tasteless. This was a delivery order, from GrubHub, and that made it even worse since the bad food that started the order turned into cold bad food after nearly an hour of waiting (30 minutes past GrubHub's estimated delivery time.) But the bottom line is that the food isn't very good no matter how you get it. read more

The noodle pad Thai dish was tasteless. The food lacked protein and the noodles were drenched in oil with a reheated flavor. The spring rolls were not fresh, stinky in fact. The chicken satay was the only item that deserves recognition. read more

Was craving Thai. Have wanted to try this place for a long time. Finally gave it a go and it was not a great choice. Chicken in love with wasn't bad. Peanut sauce was good. Would have been better with the noodles I asked for. I got rice sent instead. I got the pad Thai. I ate a third of it. Couldn't handle it. There was no taste at all. Super bland. My wife got the spicy pad Thai. Similar to my experience. Aside from it being spicy she said it lacked taste. We both threw it out rather than suffer through it. We also got the crab Rangoon's. Those also didn't live up to expectations. I honestly didn't even try them. My wife said they weren't great and that was the end of that. read more

We just had takeout from this place and I'm only writing this review because the food was awful. The beef in the Yum Nua (beef salad) was greasy and tougher than shoe leather, and the salad was hot...not just too spicy hot, but hot hot. Ewwww! The duck in the green curry tasted like it had lingered in the refrigerator for a week past its expiration date, and the dish was way overcooked...soft carrots and peppers and way overcooked string beans in a sauce reminiscent of dish water. My advice is to go anywhere else for takeout! read more

Who would've guessed that there's solid Thai food in Newton? A small sized restaurant in the mix with many other restaurants on the block. We ordered take out and got pad thai, lychee fried rice, star noodles, and a classic Thai iced tea. (You can't get Thai food without the Thai iced tea). This was the first time I've seen lychee fried rice and was excited to try it. Surprisingly, it was pretty good since the lychee was full of juice and gave the fried rice a different texture than you're used to eating. The star noodles were great and have a mix of shrimp and different veggies from beans to broccoli in it. The pad thai was pretty classic and the Thai iced tea was a perfect drink to have alongside this meal. If you're in the area, it's a great place to check out and since their menu is so extensive, I'll be back to try out more dishes! read more

Came here Sunday night for dinner. There is a public parking lot across the street. Alot of seats available but somehow they were understaffed. We waited a while before we got our orders in. I started with non-dairy thai iced tea. It is refreshing. Kinda wish they serve it with crushed ice and with lemon juice like another thai place I've been. Golden bags for appetizers. It wasnt anything special. Just a typical deep fried appetizer with a sweet/sour type dip. I wouldn't order it again. Shrimp Tom yom soup was delicious. Flavorful. Good amount of spice. Country pad thai wasn't as great as I expected. It is like typical pad thai with a different sauce. I'd stick with regular pad thai. Jade noodles was something I cannot recommend. The noodles have a weird chew to it. The dish was salty. The chicken and stir fried vegetable was disappointing. The dish doesnt even look good. Check out the best jade noodles I had in Los Angeles in my post at Sapp coffee house. That is how jade noodles should be. The penang crispy duck was also disappointing for the price. The duck was not crispy. It was soggy and covered in typical stir fried vegetables. The curry sauce was good though but that is about it. I wouldn't recommend that quality for the price. Overall, disappointed. I've had better thai food with better service. Maybe it was an off day for them but the overall experience left a bad aftertaste. Unlikely to return. read more

Came in an hour before closing and I was the only customer. The restaurant was cold, seems like heat was shut off already or on low for the night. Food was regular Thai food. Nothing fancy or that tasted different. We didn't choose anything special or out of the norm either so I can't say much. Pad Thai was good. Pik pow fried rice wasn't at all spicy. I feel like the meat quality here isn't that great. Our chicken wing almost tasted like it's been out and retried. Service was great, very nice and pleasant. The restaurant is definitely clean and neat. Bathroom is outside the hall. Don't think I'll be coming back here though regardless of the good service and clean environment. read more

I wasn't very pleased with my lunch yesterday, we wanted to start with the fried chicken wings but it came after our meal. The wing size were small, like the .25cent wings you get on discount, they were also a bit burnt and dry, but I guess you won't get much juice from little wings. Then the Tum Yum Noodle Soup, it was more like sriracha and water than TumYum; it wasn't spicy or even have the slightest flavor of lime juices. It also came with little pieces of ground chicken instead of sliced chicken, and just noodles. No veggies or even a dash of greens, scallion, cilantro, anything! We also ordered the Thai Chicken Noodle soup, yup again disappointed because it was basically just chicken broth, noodle and some sliced chicken. At least it was sliced chicken I guess... read more

A great family-run restaurant for authentic Thai food. Consistently good, with many menu options to keep you coming back.

I liked pad Thai with shrimp and chicken there, even though there were only 4 shrimps. Also, I did not like that the shrimps were with their tails leaved on. The souse was delicious, that's why I decided to come back there and order something different. Unfortunately, my expectations were not fulfilled. I did not like both orange and general chicken. Seems like chicken was not fried in the souse, and that was just chicken with souse. ‍That's why I give 3 stars to this place.. read more

Very nice restaurant...if you can find parking. Today was my first visit and I was craving Thai food, so I drove around for a little bit until I found a spot on Webster. The restaurant is small and cozy. I was alone at a window table and a party of 10 came in and pretty much took up the rest of the place. The server was very nice and the food came out hot and fast. I had the Crispy Chicken Pad Thai ($8.50). The chicken was crispy, as I hoped it would be and had very good flavor. The noodles were tasty as well. Upon first eating the food, it was tasty, but by the end of the meal, I felt that the food was a little too salty. Overall I think it's a nice place. I'm going with a 4-star rating because the food was decent and well-priced and the service was great. I'd like to try another dish or two to see if they are as salty as the Pad Thai. I hope to return in the future because I work in the area, although the lack of parking may deter me. read more

Not terrible.... but most of the dishes lack any depth of flavor Thai food should have. Have ordered many times for pick up since we live very close. Crab rangoons lack flavor and taste like old cream cheese. The noodle dishes lack any depth but the "spicy" ones provide something (a little) more. Wish they would take some more time perfecting flavor than quick pick up times. Would order again on a pinch.. otherwise will drive the extra 5-7 minutes to the nearby options. read more

Ordered on Uber eats. Delivery was later than expected, which I can understand since it's raining. But the food! Crispy chicken was so hard my kid complained she can't chew. I ordered delivery from here on a Sunday night. The food arrived within 30 minutes. Soup was fantastic. Appetizer was mediocre. Pad See Ew was decent... not the best ever, but not bad.
