Went to the soft opening today. Picked up some Pad See Ew. Thumbs up on the taste. If you don't like garlic, see if they can ease up a bit. The place was packed so they were still working out the service side of things. I'm definitely coming back for more. See you there. read more

Love this place. Staff is wonderful and food is delicious. Had the red curry w roasted duck (in this picture). Not too spicy - just a tiny bit of perfect heat :) We also had the crispy egg rolls, Penang curry w chicken, a Thai tea and the strawberry serenade tea. All were super tasty & beautifully presented. Esp the strawberry serenade which was light, not too sweet and very refreshing! 10/10 will come again! read more

Checkin in for a Thai tea flight ! Their teas are top notch and you can actually taste the leaves . They have many options and decor is simple, but very nice . We got the Tom yum fried rice, pork Larb, and roasted duck curry. Enough cant be said about the quality flavor and service here . Hope they stick around and keep things as they are. read more

My husband and I went to Manon for the first time. They just started the breakfast menu (from 7 AM to 10 AM) I got pork porridge and my husband got pan-fried egg. Food was really good! My party ordered the khao soi, yellow curry, and a side of roti. Khao soi came with a side of pickled vegetables, chili oil, and a lime to dress. Presentation was top knotch, and the taste was just on par too. Yellow curry was also very thick and creamy. Roti was very flaky and light. As for the Thai teas, the Bangkok Thai tea tasted very traditional and creamy, while the Phuket Thai tea had a deep boldness to it (more tea-like if that's what you prefer). Really great Thai food here! Our party had Pad See Ew with pork, Penang Curry with Pork, Tom Yum Soup, Pineapple Fried Rice, Green Curry with Chicken, and Pad Thai with Pork and Tofu. All were delicious, and I think it was the best Pad Thai I've had. The varieties of Thai teas were great too! I saw an Instagram ad promoting the soft opening of Manon offering 2 for 1 on specific menu items. The offer was for to go only so my review is based on that experience and not dine in. I ordered the Tom Ka Ga soup which is a coconut milk based soup full of mushrooms, chicken and flavored with lemon grass. I do not like mushrooms but LOVE this soup and try it often. Usually the chicken in this type of soup is dry in texture even though it's soaking in broth however their chicken was perfect. This was the best Tom Ka soup I've ever had! Next I ordered the Pad See Yew noodles which was rich in flavor and the wide noodles were fantastic. I also had the yellow curry with brown rice and it was so incredible. Last I enjoyed their chicken pad Thai. Again the chicken was tender and the noodles were so delicious. I would definitely come back to enjoy another delicious meal from Manon again. read more

Make sure you speak Thai. They put Thai speaking customers first. We, a group of three, were waiting for our table. Then a couple came way after us were seated in a two people table. After they cleaned up the table of four, the couple who spoke in Thai asked to seat on that table and they just gave them the table. Right in front of our eyes!! When we came in, we noticed all the four-seats tables were seated with two people. And there are some two people table left open. Even the couple in front of us were taken to the four seats table. We were wondering why didn't they take them to the smaller table so they could seat us too. Then after waiting for 20 plus minutes and seeing them giving the table to another couple just came in, we are totally done. They put us on wait list and knew we were there the whole time. We will never return to this restaurant. read more

Service is good, but this place is severely understaffed. We came on a Wednesday night to a packed house. They have another half of the store that's completely blocked off. If they opened it up, customers would be less cramped and additional staff could be hired to evenly distribute workload. Food and drinks are pricey, but good. We ordered 3 dishes total. The first two came out and were finished. The third dish never came so we cancelled the order. read more

While the flavors were average, the biggest issue was the timing--our entrees arrived before the starters, and the main dishes were brought out at different times, which disrupted the flow of the meal. First of all the plating looks great! The pork is very tender and the sauce it comes with has a little kick. Great appetizer! I got the pad see ew lunch special. What an amazing deal. The portion is pretty big and the pad see ew is amazing (this might be my favorite). They're also doing a promotion where if you check in via yelp they'll give you a tea flight. Honestly all of them are delicious. The purple one is one of my favorites! Lastly, the customer service is top tier. They are very attentive and friendly. 1/18/25: honestly, Manon needs to have more structure when it gets busy. We came saturday afternoon and they had plenty of tables open. After being seated, we were given a menu and that's when people started coming in. There were about 12 tables and 4 servers. No one took our order after 15 minutes so we finally flagged someone down. They were out of Khao Soi and all crispy pork dishes. It would have been helpful if they said that when they sat us or had a sign at the door. The khao soi was the reason we wanted to eat here. We ended up ordering our second choices. We could hear plenty of people ordering khao soi and the server looked annoyed to keep repeating they didn't have it. The worst part is we asked 3 different people for water but we saw each person get distracted and do something else. After the 4th ask, we received only one glass of water even though there were two of us. I saw other tables get water right away so I don't know why we were forgotten. The good part was the food, it was delicious. If it's busy, all good service goes out the window. No one came and checked on us. It took forever to find someone to give us our check and to-go boxes which is weird because they had a whole line of people in the waiting area who would love to have our table! I really hope they improve service because I would want to come back and try more dishes. read more

I've come here on July 4th and the service was even still good late at night for a quick coffee/dessert! I've also come here to trip plan with friends and it was so easy to get stuff done. My favorite is the pistachio latte, and the normal size for a hot is a large, and the normal size for an iced is still really big!

But first, let's chat about how welcoming the owner is. She was very sweet and happy to share info about her business: she is one of three family members that own and run the shop; her sister does most of the baking; she's created a space that encourages people to stay and relax by having some books and games available that they can borrow while they enjoy their treats. I love that!!! So I came to the Lounge specifically for the macarons (which is one of the few things they source from an outside vendor). There are so many flavors to choose from that I ended up with a 6 pack ~ pistachio, rose, earl grey, taro, almond, and raspberry. The cookies were perfectly crunchy on the outside yet nice and tender in the middle. I was surprised to find some of them had more of a paste filling instead of the traditional creme filling. The pistachio, rose, and raspberry macarons were the only ones in which the flavors were actually distinguishable. Otherwise there was nothing much thst made any of them really stand out. The very pleasant surprise for me was their peaches & cream crumble. It was SO good! Not overly sweet, with juicy peaches, a delicate cream, and a crumble that was buttery and spiced to perfection. This is easily shareable with 2-3 people, but I unashamedly finished the whole thing by myself. Now before you go thinking that I had ALL the treats in one sitting, I did not lol. I did pace myself and broke it down to 3 tastings. Anyway, ending it on a very happy note, I'm already of dreaming of having another peaches and cream crumble that I may or may not share with a friend. And next time I'm there, I also have my eye on their Dubai chocolate strawberries and they're NYC cookies. More than one return visit is definitely in order!!

I got so many pastries. There were no misses. My favorite of the bunch was the blueberry cake. The cake wasn't too sweet, was moist, fluffy, and tasty. I enjoyed the matcha cheesecake, garlic sea salt bread, and raspberry cruffin as well. I also grabbed an egg bacon bread and regular sea salt bread to-go for future breakfasts. Warmed up, these were great in the morning! To drink I had the Banana Pudding Matcha Latte which was not too sweet and yummy! Good matcha flavor and the banana pudding was creamy. Mixed together, it was good. I also enjoyed the crunchy bits in there as well as the real banana slices. I got it at the small size, but the portion was generous. It went well with the pastries. There's some inside seating and tables as well as a bathroom available. There is lots of free parking around the bakery. I went in the afternoon on a Sunday and it was still packed! I love how the bakers were constantly baking even in the afternoon, so they brought out fresh batches of their pastries. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe or simply missed the filling in ours, but for something sold as a matcha cruffin, I expected an actual matcha presence beyond the topping. The Three Cheese Bagel, made with cheddar, cream cheese, and mozzarella, had good flavor but the texture was much too hard. We were dining in and had it warmed up, yet the bread was still tough and the cheese inside had already hardened. Service was fine, but nothing stood out. Overall, great selection and a nice space, but the pastries we tried were inconsistent.

The baristas prioritize in-person orders. On multiple occasions, I've ordered 10-15 minutes before arriving and end up getting my drinks after customers who I see ordering in person. The coffee is advertised as $5.99 and after tax comes out to about $6.50 which is still cheaper than most coffee shops these days. The drinks itself tasted amazing! Not too sweet and great flavor. I liked that you can actually taste the coffee. I think since it has cold foam it's still on the sweeter side so if you don't like coffee too sweet maybe skip the foam.

Service: The service was excellent. Since we arrived early in the morning, we were the only customers at the time. Food came out quickly, and servers checked on us frequently - truly impressive attention. Food: This is where our experience fell a bit short of expectations. Here's my breakdown by dish: Pork Blood Soup (6.5/10) - The soup base was too salty for all four of us, and the soup was also not a clear soup. The ground pork was over-processed, approaching the texture of pork balls rather than properly ground meat. The pork blood itself lacked the authentic soft tofu-like consistency it should have. Despite these issues, the overall flavor was acceptable. Pork Porridge (7/10) - This dish seemed to use the same overly salty soup base as the previous dish. The rice was ground too finely, creating a texture that went beyond traditional porridge consistency. That said, the pork stomach was fresh and tender, which partially redeemed the dish. Kai Kra Ta - Hot Pan-Fried Egg with Toppings (7.5/10) - This dish was generally good, but the unexpected addition of tomatoes was a miss, particularly for my friends. They been Poppin on my IG feed with their Thai Tea flights and scrumptious Thai Food. The restaurant is simple and have an extra room use for like a banquet or private party with a curtain to close out the other area. What we ordered ~ 4 regions experience set $ 48.95, limited time only. Had 4 small dishes from different Thailand region which consist of . Gaeng Te Pho from Central Thai. A fragrant red curry simmered with pork belly and morning glory - creamy, spicy, and perfectly balanced -Gaeng Hung Lay from North Thai Slow-braised pork belly in aromatic Northern spices, ginger, and tamarind- rich, earthy, and mildly sweet . Kua Kling from South Thai Southern - style dry curry with pork ribs and fresh herbs - fiery, bold, and full o southem charm . Naem Khao Tod from NorthEast Thai Crispy rice mixed with fermented pork, herbs. and lime- bright, tangy, and irresistibly crunchy ~ Crying Tiger $ 20.95 was tender & good marination flavor. The dipping sauce that came with the filet mignon was yummy. It was spicy & sour. ~ Phuket Thai Tea is a darker roast and much stronger. I liked it since it's not overly sweet like thai teas are. They offer Eastern Tales Thai Tea here. Eastern Tales shop is located in Fountain Valley. They are the same owners as this restaurant. They make legit thai tea like the ones served in Thailand. Service was great and friendly. Received our food pretty fast. They kept checking in on us. They sell packaged thai snacks. Located in the same plaza as Kohl's, Daiso & Ralph's. Lots of parking available in the entire plaza and between Auto zone & Carl's Jr. I'll definitely return to try their lunch special along w the Sweet Mango Sticky Rice TIP~ they have a YELP Waitlist. I visited this restaurant after seeing the owner actively promoting it in a Thai community group. That gave us the impression that the food would be something special but overall, the experience was underwhelming. We ordered six dishes between the two of us. The first odd thing was that we were served noodles before the appetizers, which threw off the flow of the meal. The restaurant itself is clean and busy, and although it was packed, the food came out fast. Service was okay--not particularly friendly, but not bad either. Here's how the dishes stacked up: * Pad Thai (8/10): Pretty standard. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing memorable either. * Pineapple Fried Rice: I didn't try it since I'm not a fan of this dish, but based on presentation and my girlfriend's opinion, it was just okay. * Crying Tiger (2/10): Big letdown. The beef was extremely dry and bland. The dipping sauce on the side was the only highlight. * Salted Pork Belly (3/10): Again, very dry and lacking the richness you'd expect from pork belly. * Hat Yai Fried Chicken (1/10): Not even close to what Hat Yai chicken should be. It was overly floured, and the chicken itself was dry and not enjoyable. * Yum Woonsen (9/10): The only standout of the meal. Refreshing, flavorful, and well-balanced. Both of us agreed this was the best dish by far and the only one we'd order again. Prices are definitely on the higher side, and considering the quality of most dishes, it didn't feel like great value. Bottom line: Despite the strong promotion in the Thai community, the food didn't meet expectations. Just had an amazing lunch at Manon Thai in Fullerton -- instant new favorite!! Kicked things off with Som Tam that slapped SO hard -- crunchy, spicy, tangy perfection. Then the Bangkok Breeze showed up looking all pretty with lychee floating in it and basically tasted like vacation in a glass. Instant mood-lifter. But the real MVP? The "From Thailand's 4 Regions" mini set!! One plate, FOUR legendary Thai dishes -- creamy red curry vibes from Central, melt-in-your-mouth Hung Lay pork from the North, that addictive crispy-tangy Naem Khao Tod from Isan, and the fiery Kua Kling from the South that brings ALL the flavor. Manon is one of those places you randomly try and end up wanting to come back to right away. The Thai food here tastes really authentic -- bold flavors, not watered down at all. We ordered a few classics and everything was on point. The Pad Thai wasn't overly sweet like a lot of places, and the Tom Yum had that perfect balance of sour and spicy. The curry was super rich and creamy, definitely one of my favorites. What stood out is that every dish tasted fresh and well-made, not rushed. You can tell they actually care about the food. I frequent here pretty often with family and friends and the quality is amazing The atmosphere is so cute and cozy with nice music playing. The food is so so good and everything on the menu is a 10/10. I always get the pineapple fried rice and it's always a great choice. Taste is pretty authentic. seasonings and spices definitely on the heavy side. leaves you feeling thirsty and bloated. menu is interesting and they offer lots of unique regional dishes not found in most Thai places. service is courteous but disjointed and inconsistent. overall a good remake from the old WoodEar cafe but still needs a bit of polishing. read more
