This is a small restaurant with only a few tables. It does a lot of takeout. It's in a group of shops on the west side of 441 that's seen better days. They have two items here basically -- empanadas and tamales. You can see what is currently available in the hot case. You order and pay at the counter. We chose to eat in. We each got two empanadas. I tried their Peruvian one, but without the sugar added topping plus a ham and cheese one. I didn't care for the ham and cheese. The Peruvian one had ground beef and chopped eggs inside. It was decent. My husband got two of their beef ones. One spicy and one regular. I had part of the regular beef one -- and that was my favorite. The fillings were just okay. The "dough" part of the empanadas were slightly sweet and delicious. There's a large (pot holed) parking lot out front. Service was okay -- there was only one gal working the counter. Prices are very reasonable. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

Great little spot for fresh empanadas. There are only a few small tables inside as it seems like most people do takeout. The Caprese Empanada was my favorite -- tasted like pizza. The Spicy Chicken Empanada was good too -- the outside of the empanada has a slightly sweet flavor. The coffee is good, but if you do not like sugar in your coffee, make sure you tell them.

Manny's in Margate. Peruvian empanada bakery, opened a year ago in an old quiet shopping center on 441. Super legit, very filled baked dough crust style, served traditionally powdered sugar dusted with lime and a spicy sauce. Legit cafe con Leche also. Tiny place, basically just baked empanadas. And they keep coming out fresh.

Box of empanadas and secret sauce!

Mannys empanadas was originally in coral springs and FINALLY resurfaced in Margate. This is a much smaller location, but the empanadas are still truly amazing. I ordered a a box of 4 Peruvian and 2 picantes ($18). Just to give you guys a visual, these aren't your typical frozen and thawed empandas. Instead, these empandas have a thin light crusty exterior and are stuffed inside with a very flavorful spices and tender browned beef. Also, the empanadas come with a tasty orange tangy sauce which, words cannot describe. I definitively recommend giving this place a shot if you haven't already!

Best peruvian/others empanadas in South Florida. It's like eating in Peru for real, the prices are very fair and the service is amazing, they treat you like a friend. I got empanadas once a week for the last 3 weeks since they opened. Can't wait for the whole menu!

Empanadas de pollo and empanada de Argentinia. Absolutely amazing.

Skip your Dunkin or Starbucks and come to Manny's! This is such a cute bakery. The young woman who assisted me with my order was friendly and helpful in helping my decide which empanadas I'd like. Dine in is possible, however, it is a small restaurant so if there is no crowd I am certain if you are a solo person you can eat here like I am. I'd suggest take out if you are ordering for a group. Coffee was delicious, the empanadas are the real star. This was my first time trying Peruvian empanadas and I loved them! They are fresh and use quality ingredients. The chicken was succulent and the beef was flavorful! At the moment, they are only focusing on their empanadas and pastries such as the alfajores (which I will try next time). Sandwiches aren't available yet, to my knowledge. For two empanadas and a coffee, it was $8.99. Great price for good quality food.

The moment I walked in, I was amazed by how cute and beautifully decorated the place was. I ordered a croissant to go along with a couple of macarons. When I got home, I made myself some Turkish coffee and had the croissant it was absolutely delicious. The service was very good, and the bakery had so many beautiful options to choose from. I definitely want to come back and dine in when I'm not in such a rush. I'll definitely be back.

I ordered a feta cheese tomato Quiche And had to send it back It was very disappointing And it was overwhelmed by feta cheese and salty ! Very little egg soufflé like it should be done And it was soggy and thin ! The deserts look beautiful and gross tasting .. I had ordered mini deserts to check them out and was very pleased w taste and appearance! I also bought a bread from the place a French baguette which was ok By the way I mentioned that to a server and see if they will exchange the quiche for a regular Loraine quiche .. the server said they will need to charge it again ! Which I said ok But in my opinion they should have refunded me the 14$ that I paid for a small 4.5 " round piece ! In generally I paid over 55$ dollars For a non satisfying experience I m not recommending This place And most importantly the owner is not standing behind his product. That's what it comes down to Is that I love good food and good products And this place is not that ! So I will not be back ! It's sugar sugar and you crash So unhealthy For humanity anyways I

Beautiful displays. Sugar whispering, "Just one more." A very dangerous place for someone who skipped breakfast. I started strong with the breakfast burrito, and credit where it's due, it delivered. The chorizo and eggs were flavorful, well-seasoned, and clearly understood the assignment. Savory, satisfying, and the kind of burrito that makes you think, "Okay... I see you." Then came the empanadas. And this is where things took a turn. I tried both the beef empanada and the spinach and cheese empanada, and neither really landed. They were not bad, just forgettable. Which is disappointing, because this is a bakery, and empanadas feel like they should be part of the hall-of-fame lineup. These felt more like bench players getting some minutes. I expected more flavor, more punch, more "wow." That said, the place itself is gorgeous. Bright, clean, inviting, and absolutely packed with temptations. Cakes, pastries, breads, all of them staring at you like, "You sure you don't want dessert too?" I was not sure. So this is a solid four stars. Great breakfast burrito, stunning space, and enough visual appeal to keep me coming back. I just hope next time the empanadas decide to show up ready to play like the stars they are supposed to be.

I ordered a beef empanada and it was delicious! It was packed with meat and had a great flavor. The outside had the perfect crunch and was not greasy at all. I tried a couple slices of cake and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. There alfajors also melted in your mouth!! There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. Since it was my first visit, I didn't realize you have to take a number (similar to Publix) and wait to be called. I ended up standing in line, not knowing they were serving based on numbers instead. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing. That said, I'd absolutely go back for the food--just probably not on a busy weekend!
