Hair in sandwich....like large large hair through the width of it...#cancelBreakfast
    Imtiaz G.

Ordered at 12:30. Just slapstick job with Large large hair in their serving of food...we just got it to go because we had a photo shoot with out baby at JC Penney. Finally got home at 3pm to have breakfast after a very long day and this is what we find...really? Just wear a hair net and gloves...gosh

Supposed to be a Cuban sandwich
    Margie A.

I was just in this location and ordered a Cuban sandwich to go. It had no ham, about 2 tablespoons of pulled pork and (not even melted) yellow american cheese. It was $8.50 and the worst bite of food ever. This is not how you make a Cuban and the ingredients that were listed were not even on this sandwich. Very very disappointed!!

    Espresso at the playground :)

What a perfect location for a cafe.. right next to the indoor playground! I do believe this is a chain but I'll take it! They have a variety of Latin pastries, coffee, espressos, coladas, sandwiches and juices as well. Great for small snacks and a pick me up while shopping or at the playground in the mall. There are tables located adjacent to the playground and they will bring your tray out if desired. The prices are decent, 1.80 for a good sized espresso.

Arepas are in the building!! This latin style bakery just opened up at the Coral Square Mall in Coral Springs, where a cookie shop used to me, next ro Auntie Anne's. They have all the latin staples such as arepas, empanadas, alfajores, sandwiches and more. Also serve many coffee drinks hot and cold. They are not located at the food court, but the do have a few tables. Service was very courteous and quick. I had sone coffee and a pastry, but I am looking forward to try their Argentinian empanadas. This is a great alternative to Starbucks.

    "Toasted" bread and butter
    Grecia C.

Honestly, I've been here many times but each time gets worse. So this is my last time here. We ordered a toasted bread and butter and asked for extra toasted (said it 3 times, to make sure they do make it extra toasted) and it was barely toasted. Look at the pic for proof. Also, we waited 18 minutes for an arepa and a bread and butter. The arepa was so salty. The 18 mins that I waited I watched them work and they definitely don't have a good flow to get food out at a timely manner. They have Uber eats, to go orders, and in house orders and it def seems like it's too much to handle. They got other people's orders mixed up and that's probably why food quality sucks now.

Beautiful displays. Sugar whispering, "Just one more." A very dangerous place for someone who skipped breakfast. I started strong with the breakfast burrito, and credit where it's due, it delivered. The chorizo and eggs were flavorful, well-seasoned, and clearly understood the assignment. Savory, satisfying, and the kind of burrito that makes you think, "Okay... I see you." Then came the empanadas. And this is where things took a turn. I tried both the beef empanada and the spinach and cheese empanada, and neither really landed. They were not bad, just forgettable. Which is disappointing, because this is a bakery, and empanadas feel like they should be part of the hall-of-fame lineup. These felt more like bench players getting some minutes. I expected more flavor, more punch, more "wow." That said, the place itself is gorgeous. Bright, clean, inviting, and absolutely packed with temptations. Cakes, pastries, breads, all of them staring at you like, "You sure you don't want dessert too?" I was not sure. So this is a solid four stars. Great breakfast burrito, stunning space, and enough visual appeal to keep me coming back. I just hope next time the empanadas decide to show up ready to play like the stars they are supposed to be.

I ordered a beef empanada and it was delicious! It was packed with meat and had a great flavor. The outside had the perfect crunch and was not greasy at all. Doris, You're Beautiful... but My Wallet is in Witness Protection…read more If Whole Foods and an Italian grandma had a love child, it would be Doris Italian Market & Bakery in Coral Springs. The place is gorgeous -- like, "I suddenly care about the proper marbling of a ribeye" gorgeous. You walk in and instantly feel fancier, even if you showed up in gym shorts. Everything here screams quality. The produce looks like it just finished a spa retreat. The deli and meat counters? Absolute showstoppers. The bakery? Let's just say if carbs are a sin, I'm ready for eternal damnation. They bake everything in-house, and you can taste the pride (and probably a little buttered joy) in every bite. I came in hunting for a very specific treasure: Vidalia Onion Salad Dressing. I'd bought it here before, and it ruined me for all others. It's got this onion flavor that doesn't overpower -- it just whispers sweet nothings to your taste buds. Publix versions tried to compete, but they're like off-brand perfume: close, but not quite date-night material. Was it $7 a bottle? Yes. Did I still buy two? Also yes. Because once you've had this dressing, you start thinking $7 is a small price to pay for happiness in liquid form. Now, let's talk prices overall. Doris isn't cheap. If you tried to do all your grocery shopping here, your checking account might file for bankruptcy protection. But you get what you pay for -- and in this case, you're paying for quality, presentation, and a faint whiff of "old-world Italian pride." Five stars for the food and quality, four overall because you won't find every everyday item you need... but for meats, fish, deli, and bakery? Doris is absolutely worth it.

I tried a couple slices of cake and they were absolutely amazing--fresh, rich, and clearly made with care. There alfajors also melted in your mouth!! There's also plenty of seating, which is a huge plus. The only downside was the ordering process. Since it was my first visit, I didn't realize you have to take a number (similar to Publix) and wait to be called. I ended up standing in line, not knowing they were serving based on numbers instead. To add to the confusion, numbers were being called out in Spanish, which I don't speak. Once you know how it works, it's probably fine--but as a first-timer, it was a bit confusing. That said, I'd absolutely go back for the food--just probably not on a busy weekend!

I'll be honest--I was expecting a bigger variety of cookies (and maybe some brownies), but at the time they had about 8 cookie options and 2 muffins available. Flavors included: walnut chocolate chip, classic chocolate chip, sugar cookie, Nutella red velvet, golden Oreo cookies & cream, Dubai chocolate, and lemon blueberry. They also offer soft serve, milkshakes, and coffee, which is a nice plus. I went with the last Dubai chocolate cookie ($6.42 with tax). The cookie itself was a little on the dry side, but the chocolate topping was really good and flavorful. Overall: worth trying if you're in the area, especially if you want something different--but I'd love to go back earlier in the day to see a fuller selection.
