I'm sure they could see how excited I was to be there . It felt like what I would imagine walking into a local restaurant in Mexico would feel like. I ordered the chicken burrito which was so delicious ! It came filled with rice , beans, lettuce tomatoes and more. The salsa verde was amazing and paired well with the burrito. I also got the Birria tacos which I must say are the best I've ever had . I won't be going anywhere else for my Birria. The meat was seasoned well and the corn tortillas was fresh and toasted just right. The consume was soooo good !! I highly recommend a visit. I already know what I'll be trying next!

This location offers Mexican ice cream and I've tried before and it was really good. They have a bunch of flavors. They also offer pasties and cakes for sale. I've never eaten in but just usually call in my order. The place is generally busy and that was the case that evening. This time I decided to get steak nachos and they were decent. I was told my order would take 5-10 minutes but it ended up taking about 25 minutes. They came with guacamole, sour cream, cheese, refried beans, meat of choice, and pico de gallo. The steak was a bit dry and I was told there would be more for the price but it wasn't a mound as described lol. I probably won't get them again but it was worth a try.

Stepping into Taco Real feels like stepping into a cozy corner of Mexico. Owned by Luz, who hails…read morefrom Mexico City, and with a chef from the Yucatan at the helm, this restaurant delivers a truly authentic and homemade Mexican dining experience. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. Taco Real offers a true taste of Mexico in Florida, with its exceptional service, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance. We can't wait to go back for another Taco Tuesday! Order: Tacos - Cochinita, Asada, Carnitas, Al Pastor and Tinga Street corn with mayo, lime, Tijin, cream and queso fresco Birria Tacos - 3 tacos with consomme onion and ciltrano Churros - Dulce de Leche and Chocolate Drinks - Horchata and Tamarind

There's only about six to eight tables, but they do a great job with their business, or so it seems. There is a study line of takeout orders. And the food is delicious! You can order each taco individually and do as many as possible. My favorite by far was the one with pineapples. I'm a sucker for pineapples on tacos. Definitely a new local spot for us to frequent.

Inside, the staff is pleasant and speaks just enough English to communicate with us gringos. We were given menus and our beverages while choosing what to eat. The tacos were very good and the tortillas were so fresh. We ordered a variety to try a few. The Chorizo, alPastor, and Ground Beef were packed full of fresh proteins and toppings. I also ordered a Pork Skin taco thinking it would be a little crunchy but it was really just pretty fatty and I would not order it again. The rice and beans were also very good. I liked the complimentary basket of chips and salsa to start and I was a little surprised that they had a huge variety of menu items but no burritos. As were were finishing, the restaurant got more crowded and I figure during the dinner hours, this place would be very crowded because the food and service are great. They do charge and extra 4% credit card fee so we paid by cash. I don't love that surcharge because rarely do I have cash on me and I would respect just raising the prices on the menu instead.

I also tried the tortilla soup that was ok although served a little cold. The chips were a little stale but who needs those when you have amazing food.
