The ambiance is that of a fast casual restaurant with and order counter and tables lining the outer perimeter of the restaurant. There are TVs playing as well. The service wasn't particularly friendly, the two ladies up front seemed more interested in chatting than helping me with the menu. The lunch special came with a soda but they do not offer diet soda and they will not substitute bottled water. I walked in for pickup, and the two lunches probably took 15-20 minutes to be prepared. My husband got the griot, which was flavorful but dry. I got the stewed chicken which was slightly overcooked and underseasoned. I did enjoy the fried smashed plantains, but the rice and beans tasted weirdly ashy? We barely touched those. The pikliz was only ok. Overall, I would not return as I was disappointed.

Everything tasted well seasoned and made with care. My o ly issue was the macaroni was sooo cold, as if they didn't even bother to warm it up and the griot was really dry. Overall, If you are looking for great Haitian cuisine that leaves you full and somewhat satisfied, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

When I entered the restaurant I was greeted by the owners and classic Haitian music. Service was…read morereally good. I was pleased when speaking to the owners. Learning that they opened during a pandemic and have a pretty good following. I ordered chicken in sauce with rice and beans. It looked like the rice and beans were the left overs from the pot and many variations in color. The white rice I ordered on the side was really good. Believe it or not you can mess up white rice lol. My daughter didn't want to even try the rice and peas because it looked old. I was really hoping to get a Haitian restaurant with 5 stars and this place has 5 star service however the food just wasn't what I am accustomed to. I think it's important for restaurants to be consistent. No matter what time you come you should get the same quality. Im sure they probably didn't want to have to make new rice but if it's offered it should be good. Im not sure if I will return because I just wasn't in the mood to cook and wanted to see if their cuisine would be worth the drive. Not bad at all if I'm in the area already. However, I think they should do quality checks before serving food. I was disappointed...

I had not eaten anything all day, and was really looking forward to grabbing a nice meal tonight…read more Since I've been craving carribbean (hatian to be specific) lately, I looked up places online and decided to give Le Bistro 2.0 a go! Going inside, the place was pretty quiet, and I was able to place my order quickly, however the wait was a little long than I anticipated. For dinner, I ordered 1x griot complete to go and a side of the macaroni au gratin. Moving on with my review, I was really appalled as the photos and reviews online seemed to be flowing with positivity, but when it came down to the main event it was not good. First off, THE WHOLE MEAL WAS $34. Now, I know costs have gone up across the board, but I've never paid more than $15 for a plate of griot VERY PRICEY. As for the food, the griot had a lot of bones and was dried out. The Dijon rice was cooked ok, but pretty lack luster in terms of flavor. The tostone and macaroni salad (probably the highlight of the meal) tasted alright, but came in very small quantities. HOWEVER, the worst of the meal tonight though SHOCKINGLY was the MACARONI AU GRATIN. I don't know how you mess this up, but the pasta sauce and cheese on top had a sour sauce that made my stomach queasy afterward.. Moreover, the staff didn't seem very warm, despite my attempts to make small conversation. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience tonight at Le Bistro 2.0 and would give it a no go as my final verdict is 1/5 stars.
