Fast food! I order a Legume meal with rice/ beans. It came out cooked and delicious in two minutes! And it was $6.25! A whole meal!

I ask what food was available she went to the back and said all are ready. Ordered after 5 mins she said if I paid it'll would be quicker. I pique at 2:52. At 3:08, she said food will be ready in 10 mins. At 3:25 she told me they didn't have any griot. Only 1 plate was served to a food delivery person while I was waiting. I was so disappointed in the experience. Waited 30 + mins to say they were out of my food w no apology. I requested a refund and left. Be careful choosing this place to eat and be ready to wait.

From the moment I walked in, the energy was inviting and refreshing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They made sure I had everything I needed and explained the menu well. You could tell they take pride in their food and culture. The inside of the restaurant is painted a bright, vibrant green that immediately catches your eye. It feels fresh, clean, and full of life. Kompa music plays in the background, setting the perfect mood--it honestly made me want to dance while waiting for my food! The vibe is effortlessly Caribbean, transporting you without ever leaving the city. Portions were generous, and for the flavor and quality, it's more than worth it. Great value for an authentic Caribbean experience. You won't leave hungry! I went with my go to meal , which never disappoints! * Dinde Tassot (fried turkey): Crispy on the outside, tender inside. Seasoned to perfection--savory, flavorful, and with that bold Haitian kick. * Black rice (diri djon djon): Rich, earthy, and aromatic. You can tell it's made with love and tradition. * Macaroni with cheese: Creamy, cheesy, and made just right--comfort food at its best. Not baked, but still Great. I always order extra ! * Fried plantains: Golden and sweet with a perfect crisp on the outside. * Pikliz & gravy: The pikliz added that tangy, spicy crunch that ties everything together beautifully. The gravy? Poured it on everything! Can't wait to explore more on the menu !

We've been chugging down water non-stop. I can't even finish my meal; it's making me feel lightheaded. I ordered a side of avocado, and they just threw it on top of the box in an open bag, with nothing to protect it. It was touching everything else and was also hard, so I couldn't eat it at all. I really wanted to enjoy the food, but my chest is burning, and my head is pounding from all the salt in the gravy. That's $30 wasted. On the bright side, the service was excellent. The waiter was friendly and accommodating. Service rating: 8/10! Food rating: 2/10! Ambiance 7/10

I ordered djon djon (Haitian black mushroom rice) with Legume. The plate comes with a salad and plantains. This food was divine. It's inexpensive at $16 and sooooo much food. It was the perfect combination. My friend ordered her legume with white rice and then we ordered the griot platter. The griot came out sooooooo tender. I also order a Tablet which is peanut brittle. Delicious. Remind me of Haiti. If you're looking for some AMAZING food, Sandy's Bakery is the place to go to. It was packed with customers inside. This is NOT a dine in location, only take out. I literally came 3 minutes before closing because of the distance from my class, but I called the establishment and told him I was on my way prior& they waited for me! This place has amazing options! Being from Haitian descendants, I knew they couldn't disappoint from all the rave reviews on IG and Yelp. I will definitely be back but I will give you my review on on what I got my first time here. What I Ate Today: Haitian Lemonade - 10/10 Amazing it's tart but has a nice sweeten note to it. Very refreshing and cooling. Fritay Loaded Fries- 10/10 Yooooo I literally have no words for this. I couldn't even wait to eat it. lol I ate it in the car. The golden crunch of the fries, hint of spicy ness from the pikliz, the cooling aspect from the thousand island dressing, overall the food is WELL SEASONED OK it's not your ordinary griot. Packed with flavor and great portion size. I am really picky and I definitely nit pick when it comes to Caribbean food being that I am Caribbean. You can't eat everyone's cooking but this is definitely a must try! Customer Service 10/10 I will be back! Tamied ™
