Everything tasted well seasoned and made with care. My o ly issue was the macaroni was sooo cold, as if they didn't even bother to warm it up and the griot was really dry. Overall, If you are looking for great Haitian cuisine that leaves you full and somewhat satisfied, this spot is definitely worth a visit.

The ambiance is that of a fast casual restaurant with and order counter and tables lining the outer perimeter of the restaurant. There are TVs playing as well. The service wasn't particularly friendly, the two ladies up front seemed more interested in chatting than helping me with the menu. The lunch special came with a soda but they do not offer diet soda and they will not substitute bottled water. I walked in for pickup, and the two lunches probably took 15-20 minutes to be prepared. My husband got the griot, which was flavorful but dry. I got the stewed chicken which was slightly overcooked and underseasoned. I did enjoy the fried smashed plantains, but the rice and beans tasted weirdly ashy? We barely touched those. The pikliz was only ok. Overall, I would not return as I was disappointed.

From the moment I walked in, the energy was inviting and refreshing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They made sure I had everything I needed and explained the menu well. You could tell they take pride in their food and culture. The inside of the restaurant is painted a bright, vibrant green that immediately catches your eye. It feels fresh, clean, and full of life. Kompa music plays in the background, setting the perfect mood--it honestly made me want to dance while waiting for my food! The vibe is effortlessly Caribbean, transporting you without ever leaving the city. Portions were generous, and for the flavor and quality, it's more than worth it. Great value for an authentic Caribbean experience. You won't leave hungry! I went with my go to meal , which never disappoints! * Dinde Tassot (fried turkey): Crispy on the outside, tender inside. Seasoned to perfection--savory, flavorful, and with that bold Haitian kick. * Black rice (diri djon djon): Rich, earthy, and aromatic. You can tell it's made with love and tradition. * Macaroni with cheese: Creamy, cheesy, and made just right--comfort food at its best. Not baked, but still Great. I always order extra ! * Fried plantains: Golden and sweet with a perfect crisp on the outside. * Pikliz & gravy: The pikliz added that tangy, spicy crunch that ties everything together beautifully. The gravy? Poured it on everything! Can't wait to explore more on the menu !

We've been chugging down water non-stop. I can't even finish my meal; it's making me feel lightheaded. I ordered a side of avocado, and they just threw it on top of the box in an open bag, with nothing to protect it. It was touching everything else and was also hard, so I couldn't eat it at all. I really wanted to enjoy the food, but my chest is burning, and my head is pounding from all the salt in the gravy. That's $30 wasted. On the bright side, the service was excellent. The waiter was friendly and accommodating. Service rating: 8/10! Food rating: 2/10! Ambiance 7/10
