Grilled Shrimp Mofongo

Me and my friend came here for a quick bite after a hard day of carrying furniture from one place to another. This has always been saved in my list of bookmarks because it has such great reviews. I now understand why! The place is a hidden gem, in a little plaza right off a busy road (I think 441). I would have never stopped here if it wasn't for Yelp! The service is amazing, the food came out quick and everything was so delicious. The decoration is of a typical Spanish restaurant with some Spanish music playing in the background. Music wasn't too loud or too low, just perfect enough that you could enjoy it and have a conversation. The beer was extremely cold, which is very important for us lol Can't wait to go back and order every other item on the menu!

Everything was great! The rice an chicken was fresh, so much flavor. It was my first time trying Latin food out here. An I can say I give it every star it deserves. The potato salad is different from American but I still liked it. My friend also got the chicken soup which was flavorful as well! Servers were so amazing as well! The inside was a complete vibe too.

Que lo Que! Great spot for some Dominican food and some teteo on the weekends. I came in to grab a quick chimi and a cold presidente! Ya tu sabe!!! The chimi was decent! Affordable and good music!

I made a quick stop for Hispanic food after arriving from the airport in Fort Laurel and decided to come to Bohío Latin flavor and wasn't disappointed. The cuatro golpes was delicious. My wife had the Mofongo with pork and loved every bit of it. A must try. Great food!

Food taste like the kitchens of San Jose De Ocoa! Nice casual ambiance with good music. Has the Red Snapper Fried with garlic sauce, also got the stewed goat with rice and beans, with tostones and sweet plantains, and avocado house salad. Everything was delicious!!

I really wanted to love this place, but I couldn't. I ordered for delivery with pure excitement that I found a Dominican restaurant near where I live. I am Dominican and I have high expectations for Dominican food. Food arrived neatly packaged with care. I ordered: Grilled chicken, white rice, guandules, sweet plantains, tostones, fried cheese, chicken soup, two chicken empanadas and a tres leches. There were a mix of hits and misses amongst all of the food. My grilled chicken was just okay, lacking a bit of flavor and dry. Chicken soup was ok as well, nothing to rave about. I would say my two top favorites would be the fried cheese (you can't mess up cheese, that's easy) and the tostones. I would say they make tostones a bit different than the norm and it was not pressed flat, nor was it crispy. It was edible so therefore I ate it. The chicken empanada, had no filling or chicken inside at all, yes it was an empty empanada folks, first time I ever stumbled on this type of fail...see picture. Tres leches was good, it was a standard tres leches. I was not impressed, this restaurant failed to meet my expectations and was below average. I will try another Dominican restaurant in the area.

Great food and service. The beef empanadas were massive and delicious. Definitely a place we'll keep going back to.

The food tasted amazing the only downside was the portion size was too small. The service was good and the location had great music.

The mondongo is really good if you're in the mood for soup. The stewed chicken is well seasoned and really tender. The service is great!
