What an unforgettable experience! We walked in, unplanned, unaware of what we were walking into. On a busy summer night during 2026 4th of July weekend where most restaurants you need a reservation for a table we went straight to the bar. My mother and I wanted to enjoy the fireworks and the meal was an in-between moment while we wait for the main event. We stayed near by at a bed and breakfast in the heart of the historic city of Wilmington. 3 blocks away from the waterfront I found Manna on yelp had good rating and a good amount of reviews and as I searched for "seafood near me" it was one of 3 to pop up on top. From the moment we arrive we were greeted warmly and felt welcomed. We sat at the bar as we had no reservations, immediately the servers and bartenders introduced themselves and as they asked if we were ready we asked for recommendations and we got to not only get a throw overview of each dish but also its story and it was such a refreshing treat. It reminds me of the reason I live hospitality so much the immersive experience of being part of their cuisine. This is a farm to table type of restaurant and so the menu changes weekly. I highly recommend coming here, I loved every moment and every bite. Worth every penny. It is a place, food and people I will remember always and return in a heartbeat if I get another chance. Thank you for enhancing and creating such a special moment with my mother and our girls trip

We made a last-minute decision to visit Wilmington for a few days. After reading reviews, we called Manama to book a table. Stephanie was super friendly and helpful, even making recommendations on things to do and other places to eat. We were seated right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is stunning - both natural and elegant, reflecting their farm-to table approach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every dish has a clever name, but I forgot to make note of them. My husband ordered the crispy flounder, which he said was delicious. I ordered a wild mushroom dish, which was equally tasty. Of course we had to try the cornbread. It was even better than what I make! They have an extensive wine list, and the sommelier's recommendation of a French Burgundy was outstanding. (It's a 2023 Domaine Fountaine-Gagnard). When we come back to Wilmington, manna will be top on our list of places to dine.

Only giving it 4 stars because of 2 things. No salad options except for a beet salad or soup. The menu was limited appetizers and about 5 entries , so a salad option would be lovely. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself was very beautiful[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] , and the service was above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious. I would encourage everyone to try this lovely farm to table restaurant, you will not be disappointed. There are limited options but what they have is absolutely delicious so you will not leave dissatisfied. Husband had the speckled trout and I had the porkchop. We were told that the menu changes daily. We would definitely return.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Great meal, beautiful restaurant, service that cares.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A menu that will please - promise. Won't be disappointed.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Tucked into the heart of downtown Wilmington, Manna offers an elevated dining experience that blends local pride with refined, eclectic charm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Housed in a century-old brick building--once home to a telecommunications company--the restaurant spills over into an adjacent venue with live music, creating a dynamic atmosphere rooted in history and creativity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Inside, the space is warm and sophisticated, with exposed brick, soaring ceilings, and a striking green granite-topped bar that sets the tone for what's to come.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their cocktail program is daring, handcrafted, and unapologetically bold--featuring clever names like *Mama Tried* and *World Traveler*. Even the mocktails get their moment under the banner "They're right here, Jim." The wine list is extensive, and if you're a fan, it's worth asking about their wine club. The menu changes regularly and reflects what's fresh and in season, with a strong focus on local ingredients. During my visit, the offerings included North Carolina oysters, crab cuts, swordfish, pork chops, and free-range organic chicken, plus fresh local vegetable options--all elevated with creative touches. I ordered the nightly plate special: fried chicken served over potato salad with a red cabbage slaw. The slaw had just the right balance of tart and sweet, and the chicken was outstanding--crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside, with a perfectly seasoned coating. Easily one of the best pieces of fried chicken I've had in a long time. Service was top-tier from the moment I walked in--professional, friendly, and exactly what you hope for in a restaurant of this caliber. Manna is the real deal. Everything is fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and deeply rooted in the region. If you're after real food, real drinks, and a dining experience that honors both creativity and hospitality, this place nails it.

My wife and I had the pleasure of attending the Beggars Can't Be Choosers dinner on Sunday. It was a wonderful experience. You're seated at the Bar and you order food flights. What is delivered is up to the Chef. We enjoyed all of the flights. The food was delicious and service at Manna is always great.

I was visiting now and before I prepared for my trip I researched the local restaurants in the area. Manna was one that really caught my attention. It is a restaurant that changes their menu seasonally which appealed to me. The ambiance was very charming as it wasn't a large restaurant, so it was very romantic. The art of the walls was beautiful as well. We started off with the an old fashioned and an espresso martini. We were both surprised with how good they were and shared the drinks back and forth. For appetizers we got the oysters and house made bread. The oysters were truly something else. They were filled with green tomato mignotte and pickled onion sorbet. The mignotte was extra sour and the sorbet brought a cold touch to your mouth. Honestly we're some of the best oysters I've ever had. The bread was also a hit. The warm bread was so soft and crunchy at the same time. The butter was topped with a jam that was sweet and savory at the same time. For dinner we ordered the daily fish and the NY strip. We wanted to have a touch of sea and land. The fish was juicy and topped with a crispy skin. The sauce it was served with was a tomatoey puree. The NY strip was one of the best I've had in a while. I'm usually very unsatisfied with ordering a steak out because they never do it correctly. The char on the steak was perfect and it was perfectly cooked. The service of Manna was exceptional and I now understand why it is rated so high in Wilmington. We initially booked for the wrong day and they said they probably wouldn't be able to fit us in. Quickly they called back and assured us that they were able to make it work for us which meant a lot. Next time I visit town, I will surely be back to try out the new items they have. I rate Manna a 9/10!

What a fantastic evening at Dram Yard…read more We were a little concerned we might miss our 5:30 reservation after getting delayed by a seven-car accident on the bridge, but we arrived just a couple of minutes late and it wasn't an issue at all. From the moment we arrived, the experience was relaxed, welcoming, and exactly what we needed. We chose to sit in the beautiful courtyard, and with temperatures in the 70s, sunshine overhead, and a gentle breeze, it couldn't have been a more perfect setting. The outdoor gazebo bar creates a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying a cocktail before dinner, and if the weather isn't cooperating, the indoor dining space is equally inviting. A special thank you to Sarah, whose service was outstanding. She was cheerful, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The restaurant wasn't crowded, which made for a peaceful and unhurried dining experience. For drinks, I ordered the Ghost Town, while my wife enjoyed the Venus Flytrap. Both were beautifully prepared and easy to see why they're among the restaurant's popular cocktails. The food was equally impressive. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara, and it was exceptional. The kitchen even accommodated my request for extra freshly cracked black pepper, which took an already excellent dish to another level. My wife ordered the Little Gem Salad with shrimp, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We also shared the Tuna Tartare Tostada, which was outstanding--beautiful presentation, fresh tuna, and a great balance of textures and flavors. Adding to the experience was a bottle of Albariño that paired wonderfully with the meal. What stands out most about Dram Yard is its atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, slow down, enjoy a handcrafted cocktail, and forget about the stresses of the day. Whether you're looking for a date night, an evening with friends, or simply a quiet place to relax, Dram Yard delivers. Excellent service, creative cocktails, outstanding food, and one of the most relaxing outdoor dining spaces in Wilmington. We'll definitely be back.

We all ordered the "tasting" menu each for $90 per person. We were made to think the portions…read morewould be ample for the price. We each got a bowl of gazpacho, an appetizer size portion of two very small duck lumpia followed by tile fish with flat noodles and a savory broth. The course then was a shared short rib that was entirely fat/gross, one smal grilled onion and two tiny empanadas to share . Desert was a small scoop of ice cream and small crumble type cobbler to share. We in no way felt like it was $90, the portions were not enough to sustain us and we felt incredibly cheated and somehow conned/robbed of over $200 for each of us couples out. Very disappointing!

We came yesterday and didn't want to wait but then came back today and got our group on the list and waited. Note that the parking close by is expensive and they won't seat you if your whole party isn't there within 5 minutes of texting that your table is ready. So yep- plan to wait and sit around. Inside it's pub style, bar available and good music, but not much seating which explains the wait ;) We ordered the 109 Chestnut Chicken Sandwich, the Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich and the Reuben. Our waitress recommended not getting the onion rings app and to do it as sides to save money, and man, we had SO MANY leftovers. The pork sandwich is super good but so filling. I could only eat half with all the onion rings! The Reuben was absolutely delicious and I would 1000% get that again. The best thing on the menu in our opinion: the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls with chipotle mayo- OMG. We will DREAM about these!!! I haven't seen these talked about much- TRY THEM, they were literally mouth watering and I would have eaten them as an entree and not an app! Overall we would come back again, just be prepared to wait forever for a table and you won't be disappointed!
