The bar was completely full, so that must be the highlight of the restaurant. Looked lively and busy. Service is very good, the servers come back to check on you often. Chloe was very sweet and attentive. The only disappointment was dessert. We chose the cake of the day. It was chocolate Bundt cake with cinnamon frosting. To be completely honest, it tasted like boxed cake mix and canned frosting. It was very small, so I knew it was probably cake mix. There was nothing special about this; it was also pretty dry. Even if they purchased their desserts from a local bakery, it would have been better than what we got. I won't say avoid all their desserts, but I wanted to point out the cake specifically. They had one table closest to the door that appeared to be a table for four but had six chairs tightly squeezed in. Our only alternative was to eat outside in 95 degree weather. One in our party even got sick while there due to the heat. The food was average but I wasn't happy that we were misled... When I asked the hostess, she stated, "We told you we'd TRY to accommodate you." If you have a party of more than four, look for another restaurant.

My wife ordered the Cajun Chicken Pasta with fried Brussels sprouts, and she really enjoyed it. I had the Black Bass with asparagus, which was delicious and beautifully prepared. I also enjoyed a Blueberry Mojito Mocktail, which was refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal. A special shout-out to our server, Paige, who was absolutely sweet, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout our meal. Her warm personality and excellent service added to an already enjoyable evening. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I liked the "pico de gallo" and the habanero mango sauce. That made for a new way to enjoy the oysters. And finally, I enjoyed the Cajun shrimp tacos. The shrimp were seasoned and prepared to absolute perfection. Our server Damani was very nice, cheery and attentive. She did a great job and we appreciated that. I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I thought it was more touristy and would be ok at best. But it was one of the better lunches I've had in the past month of traveling up the southeast Atlantic coast.
