This new tavern is located close by Winnie's tavern. Indoor decor leaves little to be desired. There's quite a bit of empty space indoors that could be filled with more tables. There is more outdoor seating than indoor seating at this tavern. When we came in, at first we weren't sure how to order since the only staff were two people at the bar. We asked for a menu and placed our order at the bar. It was loud inside with music and only a few people chatting. Eating indoors was a bit distracting with the flies and bugs swarming around our food. Food was good, satisfying, but not filling. We ate the cheerwine chicken sandwich and the Dram tree gyro. The chicken was about half an inch thick, moist and tender. Couldn't tell/taste it was marinated with cheerwine. I didn't like the burnt grilled marks on the chicken. The gyro meat had good flavor, but of course not as good as The Greeks. Fries were thinly cut and crispy, seasoned with salt. They had beers on tap from other breweries. Tried Broomtail's strawberry gose, which was good, light strawberry flavor, not hoppy. This is a place to come to when you just want a very casual, no frills hang out spot with your friends.

Wow! I am really surprised at the other yelpers review... maybe I shouldn't be, since her other reviews are so ridiculous! (I would give her other reviews a look for reference, to be fair!) Drams staff is always friendly and the drinks and food have always been amazing! Check them out for yourself! Wonderful spot off the beaten path! We have tried almost everything there and it's all been delicious!

My dog enjoying the extremely nice outdoor area!

Not sure why the other reviews are not so hot because we loved this place! Super dog friendly and food was . They brought my dog water and the chef came out and asked how the food was. Overall great experience!

Cool article about "Dram or Dram Tree" local history

I have always had great service and great food, the Korean style ribs and the mac n cheese are legit fire as everything else I've tried! Other reviewers are silly and don't get it... I've always had awesome service, I've worked at restaurants and totally understand how things work so with all the running around the staff has to do I think they are flawless and hustle! it's a huuuge place with tons of outdoor seating and plenty at bar and in dining area and a nice big field for vendor events like the Indie Night market on one Thursday per month, along with good live music even during the week sometimes. Also pups and kids can run around and it's def a family and pet family environment but super cool hang as well!!! Def a new gem in the Sunset Park and Greenfield lake corridor! You're missing out if not giving it a shot bc a few bad apple reviewers! Also I think they are having an Oyster Roast on 12/21/24!!! I'm definitely gonna hit that event!

It was great weather this night, so we opted for an outside table that was in total shade. Very comfortable. Our server came by for drink orders. We had no appetizers this visit and went right into entrees. We tried the Port City Burger, the Gnocchi with chicken, cilantro lime shrimp quesadillas and the salmon tacos. Everything was delicious. The only complaint I would have is that the Salmon Tacos was a bit small. The dish is two small tacos with a side of tortilla chips. There is no salsa, no pico de gallo, no slaw. I was actually sorry that I didn't get an appetizer. I was still a little hungry after I finished. We didn't want any of the dessert offered this time. Again, everything was great. Service, food, atmosphere, outside patio. Just my dish was a little less in size. I will keep that in mind next time we visit. I'm not sure something like this would be changed on the menu, but I still wanted to voice my opinion. Still a great place with a great menu and service. If the weather is good, opt for the patio. It is really nice sitting out there.

A table arrived after we got our appetizers and got their food, a box, paid, and left before we even ordered our entrees. Each drink took minimum of 15 minutes and were incorrect. The server had to come back and double check multiple orders. We were not checked on once unless we flagged her down. The list goes on. Will not return unless we order take out.

We came yesterday and didn't want to wait but then came back today and got our group on the list and waited. Note that the parking close by is expensive and they won't seat you if your whole party isn't there within 5 minutes of texting that your table is ready. So yep- plan to wait and sit around. Inside it's pub style, bar available and good music, but not much seating which explains the wait ;) We ordered the 109 Chestnut Chicken Sandwich, the Hot Roasted Pork Sandwich and the Reuben. Our waitress recommended not getting the onion rings app and to do it as sides to save money, and man, we had SO MANY leftovers. The pork sandwich is super good but so filling. I could only eat half with all the onion rings! The Reuben was absolutely delicious and I would 1000% get that again. The best thing on the menu in our opinion: the Cheese Steak Egg Rolls with chipotle mayo- OMG. We will DREAM about these!!! I haven't seen these talked about much- TRY THEM, they were literally mouth watering and I would have eaten them as an entree and not an app! Overall we would come back again, just be prepared to wait forever for a table and you won't be disappointed!

We were next and got the last table for two. The place was completely full. After reading the menu, the daily special was 1/2 price burgers. They also gave first responders 20% off on Mondays. They have specials every night, so it is worth it to check that out before coming in. We started with a basket of hush puppies and corn muffins with yummy molasses butter. If you get in between 3:30 and 5pm, appetizers are 1/2 price Monday through Friday. I can see why this place is so busy! So I decided on a burger, who can pass up half price day? And we also got the knuckle sandwich, which was 20% off for first responders, so my hubs got that. Off to a good start. Also tried fresh squeezed lemonade, really delicious and fair priced. The burger and the sandwich were huge, we both had to take half to go. You get one side for $1.50, but added sides are $4 each. Still ok since the prices are good. There were charges for the added bacon and cheese on my burger but still at half price, it is a great deal. The restaurant is very rustic, pub atmosphere and very relaxed. The bar was completely full, so that must be the highlight of the restaurant. Looked lively and busy. Service is very good, the servers come back to check on you often. Chloe was very sweet and attentive. The only disappointment was dessert. We chose the cake of the day. It was chocolate Bundt cake with cinnamon frosting. To be completely honest, it tasted like boxed cake mix and canned frosting. It was very small, so I knew it was probably cake mix. There was nothing special about this; it was also pretty dry. Even if they purchased their desserts from a local bakery, it would have been better than what we got. I won't say avoid all their desserts, but I wanted to point out the cake specifically. So overall: The prices were excellent, food and service is really great, and the pub atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The plus was that on a busy night, we didn't wait for a table. They do not do reservations so prepare to wait, or just go earlier. I would definitely come back here, and enjoy some more of the large menu. 5 stars

We arrived at the restaurant at 5 pm, shortly after they opened to discover that they didn't even have an inside table that would seat seven. They had one table closest to the door that appeared to be a table for four but had six chairs tightly squeezed in. Our only alternative was to eat outside in 95 degree weather. One in our party even got sick while there due to the heat. The food was average but I wasn't happy that we were misled... When I asked the hostess, she stated, "We told you we'd TRY to accommodate you." If you have a party of more than four, look for another restaurant.

Such a unique and different menu we started out with the Big Wes Lil' Weiners which was 4 smoked Jalapeno and cheddar sausages wrapped in an empanada crust served with an arugula chimmichuri dipping sauce. So innovative and delicious, sauce had a bite to it and the sausages were juicy and crispy with the empanada crust, highly recommend. I wanted to house made roast beef only available on the weekends but it was sold out, no surprise. Opted for the Ghostface Fillah instead. It was our first time here, and I had the bacon cheeseburger and she had the smash burger. If the burger I had isn't considered one of the best burgers in Wilmington, then there's something wrong with my taste buds! The bun wasn't a typical hamburger bun; it had a roasted buttery taste and glaze to it. And the patty was THICK and cooked to a perfect medium-well like I requested, and coated with melted cheese! The crispiness of the edge of the meat combined with the warm, smooth cheese, along with the red onions, bacon, and sauce made for an incredible tasting burger! Next time, I think I'll ask for just a tad bit more sauce though. The seasoned fries were hot and excellent. I should also comment about the water we drank--it was poured into our glasses from an already-chilled bottle, so no ice was needed! The establishment was clean and lit with natural lighting from the extensive windows that make up the entire front of the restaurant. Tony, our host and server, was extremely welcoming, friendly, and attentive. I asked him to let the kitchen staff know how much we loved our burgers, and he even boxed and bagged up our leftovers (I WANTED to eat the entire burger then and there, but I would have stretched my belly way too much!). I liked the "pico de gallo" and the habanero mango sauce. That made for a new way to enjoy the oysters. And finally, I enjoyed the Cajun shrimp tacos. The shrimp were seasoned and prepared to absolute perfection. Our server Damani was very nice, cheery and attentive. She did a great job and we appreciated that.
