The food was great, we stopped into the food court quickly and there were so many options. We went with the dumplings and green onion pancakes. The pancakes had a sauce, we think it was a plum and it was tasty! The matcha is also fantastic! They hand whisk it and it's ceremonial grade, I even came back a few days later just for the matcha!

Amazing food! And great service. The bbq pork fried rice is the best and so are the spicy & sour wontons. Can't recommend enough!

Manna House is located in the food court area of the recently-opened SF Supermarket. They have a limited menu ranging from appetizers to delicious noodle soups, fresh dumplings, and side dishes. The dumplings are some of the most affordable I've ever seen, especially for the current economy. You can get 12 tender and juicy dumplings for only $13! I've been to Manna House twice already and ordered the pork/shrimp/chive steamed dumplings both times. They were filled very nicely, and the skins were an appropriate thickness. When I bit into them, juice definitely popped out, so be careful if you are digging in as soon as you get them. I'd wait a few minutes for their internal temperatures to drop to tolerable levels. The dumplings come with vinegar and you have to ask for chili oil if you want it (chili oil is non-negotiable for me when I have dumplings). Their chili oil isn't very spicy but has a good depth of smoky flavor. The second time I visited Manna House, I also ordered their beef tendon noodle soup. For $15 it was a little on the smaller side, but not unreasonable for a quick food court meal. The broth was clear and satisfying, the beef tendon was tender and well-seasoned (with a nice braised flavor), and the noodles were bouncy and chewy (not overcooked at all). The bok choy was standard and picked up on the broth well. I asked for chili oil to add to my broth and it was delicious. Obviously for a food court, the ambiance can be noisy, but the tables are huge and the chairs are comfy. You order through a giant kiosk and get an order number, which is also displayed on a screen so you can keep track of when to pick up your order. The waiting time isn't long at all and the staff at Manna House are pretty efficient at making your food. I'd definitely continue to frequent Manna House for their delicious dumplings and would love to try some of their other dishes in the future.

Some solid dumplings and chow fun. This restaurant is located inside of the San Francisco market Plaza. It's located specifically in the food court. Easy, accessible, self ordering system, to go along with clean tables. The dumplings were nice, they came with a chili oil as well; I've had the kimchi ones, which were supposed to be spicy, but not much spice in there. The chowfun was flavorful as well, but nothing mind blowing. Definitely a solid option, especially if you're craving some noodles and dumplings. The biggest downside is that it is very expensive for tiny portions. The dumplings plus noodles plus soda plus tip came out to roughly $36. Food was good, but not worth the price. Closer to a 3.5/5

I was so surprised to find Manna House makes my favorite dish! Spicy pig ear is very hard to find. Even harder to perfect the balance of flavors like they do! Must step out of your comfort zone and try this dish..you won't regret it! I went from ordering one a week to two now. They are so kind! Every once in a while, I find these handmade dish scrubbers in my bag with a sweet note. So appreciated!!

    Pork potstickers

These were the most amazing dumplings and I should not have eaten them all but shared them but were too good to share! Meaty!! Yummy! And lovely service and ambience of a favorite food court!

Food came out quick and was so good! It was perfect for the cold weather. Not too numbing to where it's not enjoyable, just the right amount. It came out piping hot, so careful not to burn your tongue like I did.

The staff were really friendly. I tried A3. Dry Tofu Salad, A4. Fresh Cucumber, and M6. Sesame Balls (6 pieces). The taro sesame balls and fresh cucumber were delicious, but I wasn't a big fan of the tofu salad. Still, I'm looking forward to returning and trying more items from the menu!

The counter where you can order. There is also a kiosk you can order from as well.

The staff was friendly and the food was hot and fresh. It's going to take me some time to try everything on the menu.

Authentic flavor. Delightfully satisfying. Welcoming and enjoyable ambiance. People are also very kind.

They have the best matcha in town, always coming back for more and their salted egg custard buns is one of my fav!!!! Definitely recommend

The grill plates were always changed like in every 15 minutes or so. You always have a clean grill to cook on. The place was nice and really well lit. The place looked like industrial decoration, but mainly for the air extraction vents on every table. And these extraction vents were working very well. Gangnam Ave has been my absolute favorite KBBQ spot for years, and after trying several places…read morearound Sacramento, this one still tops them all. Honestly, it's so good that I haven't even felt the need to keep searching for another go-to. I've visited with small groups of 3-4 people and also larger groups of 6-10, and the experience has remained consistently great overall. One thing I like about Gangnam Ave is how their pricing works. Instead of the typical lunch vs. dinner menu, they offer Option A or Option B, where some premium meats are excluded from the cheaper option. It's basically the same concept as lunch/dinner pricing, but I appreciate that it isn't tied to the time of day. For reference, they open at 4pm on weekdays and 12pm on weekends, which feels pretty reasonable to me since KBBQ is usually more of a late lunch or dinner type of meal anyway. The variety of meats is one of the main reasons I love coming here. When I do AYCE, I'm going all in -- usually 4-5 rounds -- so I'm not trying to stick with just basic bulgogi. Gangnam Ave offers things you don't always see at other spots like small and large intestines, pork jowl, beef tongue, and spicy baby octopus, and the marinades here for some of the meats are flavorful. I've eaten at other KBBQ spots over the years for different reasons (my sister even worked at Oz for several years), but Gangnam Ave will always have a special place in my stomach. The appetizers are also solid. Their corn cheese is easily my favorite -- instead of a flat dish with watery corn and melted cheese tossed on top, they give you individual foil cups so you can throw it on the grill and melt it perfectly yourself. I'm lactose intolerant and still order it every single time. The steamed egg is always fluffy and never overcooked, and it pairs perfectly with the meats. I also usually order their soondubu; I'm not overly picky about tofu soup, but as long as it isn't watered down, I'm happy -- and theirs always hits the spot. Their drink menu is small but fun, especially if you like soju. They have some mixed soju drinks, and there's a strawberry + Sprite one with a strawberry-infused ice cube called Super Shy that has become my go-to whenever I visit. Sweet, bubbly, and dangerously easy to drink. Now for the meat itself: it comes out raw, of course, so the final result depends on how well your group can grill. If you've got someone in your group who knows what they're doing, you really can't go wrong. Portions are reasonable for the group size, orders usually come out pretty quickly, and they change the grills every round or two. Most tables have one grill for every four people, so larger groups will typically get two grills. Like most KBBQ places, the experience can depend on your server. I've had many different ones over the years -- most are great, a few are just okay -- which probably explains the mixed reviews you'll sometimes see. Personally, it's never been enough to ruin my experience. A quick tip: reservations are highly recommended for groups of four or more, and they'll usually ask ahead of time if there are kids in your party. If I had to nitpick anything, the dipping sauces are pretty simple and not particularly memorable, but nothing is perfect. The restaurant itself is small and dimly lit, but I think that's part of the charm. It feels cozy and homey -- the kind of place where you can sit around the grill with friends and family and just enjoy the moment. I've made a lot of great memories here over the years. Before moving out of state, I used to come here almost every other month with different groups of friends or family. I've included photos from several past visits with this review because they really show how often I've come here over the years. If anything, they're proof of how loyal of a returning customer I've been. ;) no bonuses or perks besides good food lol. After you're done pigging out, you can grab Melona bars or taiyaki ice cream fish sandwiches from the freezer near the front for cheap. Or if you want to extend the night, there's a Baskin-Robbins right next door for dessert. Parking is also pretty easy, and even though the lot gets a little dark at night, the bright lights from Gangnam Ave make it easy to spot. Maybe I'm a little biased because of all the good memories tied to this place, but there's a reason I've been returning for many years -- even before COVID. If you love AYCE KBBQ and want variety, good marinades, and a cozy vibe, Gangnam Ave is absolutely worth checking out.

Once we got to the restaurant we noticed a few people waiting in the lobby ahead of us but considering what night it was,I was fine with it.We ended up waiting about 20 minutes before we got our table. I will admit fully I have zero expertise at Korean restaurant, outside of occasional visits to a BBQ spot but at traditional sit down Korean restaurant,I was out of my element.Luckily for me,the daughter has spent multiple weeks in Korea thru her military service,so I felt like I was in good hands-I let her have total control of what we were eating that night, that wasnt easy for me to do. We ended up going with Fried Chicken in spicy sauce($22.95)-Seafood Fried Rice($18.95)-Soft Tofu Stew($17.95)-Hot Stone Beef Bibimbab($19.95),which along with the courtesy banchan was so much food-but I'd never been to this restaurant-I wanted to try some things. To drink we ended up going with some Blackberry wine($14.95) and my daughter went with a Milkis($1.95) drink-I just went with water but I did have my eye on some Soju, but decided against it since I wasn't sure what I was up against "food-wise". Once the food arrived which was lightning quick-I was in heaven, the 11 small dish banchan along with our dishes,I can't tell you which was best because everything I tasted was on point and kept getting better and better. My bibimbap was so fun to eat-I enjoyed the act of mixing it all up before trying it-was so tasty. The tofu stew came out piping hot and the flavor profile was like nothing I've had before-it was super enjoyable. If I had to say though, the star of the meal was that fried chicken in spicy sauce-holy smokes-large pieces of chicken drowning in the spicy sauce,it was a flavor overload that I couldnt get enough of-I loved them-I think I ate 80% of them-sorry wife and daughter-I couldnt help myself, they were awesome,I'd always heard how good Korean chicken was but now I can vouch for it-it's really really great-do yourself a favor and get this dish-it's awesome. In closing,if you ever find yourself in the mood to try a traditional Korean restaurant in the Sacramento area,I would without a doubt recommend Modurang Korean restaurant-it was a pretty amazing place and I'm glad I tried it-hope you feel the same way if u try it one day. PS-forgot to mention that Blackberry wine was delicious-another surprise of the night-very enjoyable.

The bones are big so easy to get rid of them. It was just ok. I think we won't order this again. Not as good as the flounder. We got the Galbi but it was really fatty tonight. Good flavor but less meat. Also got the fried chicken which is always yummy. Comes out really hot. It's funny that the server thought we ordered a lot but ate most of it . She don't know me hahaha.
