Surprisingly tasty. -Not a bad spot in a grocery store food court. The "Dry Noods" was done right. Meat was good. Roasted pork was crispy and tasty. Beef shank was tender. Side of broth added a nice touch. -Sauce Bar: this is where the magic happens. Kick things up a notch w/ endless possibilities to enhance your "NOODS." -Worth checking out.....

A7. Crispy pork dry rice noodle: the crispy pork was delicious but they were in tiny pieces unlike the picture. The noodle was soft but a bit overcooked for my liking. The good thing was that there were self-served toppings. With small portion of protein, these toppings helped enhanced the dish. The soup was bland and tasted like the broth from boiling the noodle. Overall, it's 3.5 stars for me

Place is great for introverts - you can order at a kiosk and your food just arrives at a pickup site, no fuss. I got the A3 Crispy Pork & Braised Pork Dry Rice Noodle. The pork was tasty, but I wish there was a bit more. The noodles were bouncy and tender. There's a topping bar so I added a healthy amount of roasted peanuts, young bamboo shoot, green beans, and chili oil. You can taste the Chinese five spice in the meat marinade. The dish came out tasty, with a balance of flavor, sour, umami, spicy all with a variety of textures. It's a decent food court space, ample seating, plenty of families having a good time.

    A good lunch.

I was back in the neighborhood so I decided to try another place at the new SF supermarket food court. Overall, a good meal. They do have a good selection. I ordered through the kiosk, I don't know if they will also let you. Order in person. I decided to have the combo dry noodles, and an order of the green onion, pancakes. There was a little glitch in the ordering, because I ordered a Diet Coke in a 20 oz bottle, but all they had were 12 oz cans. It was only a few cents difference, so I let it slide, but you might want to pay attention to that.... My food came in about 10 minutes, which was not bad. The combo came with Pork, beef shank, and crispy pork. Once you get your food, they have a condiment bar, with things such as scallions, peanuts, jalapeños, etc. The dry noodle bowl also came with a delicious clear broth, and you can put in as much or as little as you want. The noodles were delicious and just the right texture, , the beef was tender and flavorful, and I definitely liked the broth. About half of my bowl came home with me. The stallion pancakes, unfortunately, we're not as successful. They were delicious, but they were way too oily. I would pick one up with my hands, and if I even squeezed it a little bit, I could see the oil just dripping off my fingers. Again, fat is flavor, as they say on the Food Network, but I didn't care for the oily texture. They did come with a chili sauce, and I dipped the pancakes, just very lightly into the chili sauce, and it added a good flavor without being too spicy. I also put a tiny bit of the chili sauce into my soup. For all I got, plus the fact that I had some to take home, the price was reasonable. Another good meal in this new food court. Thank you.

This is a new noodle place inside SF market's new food court. We tried one soup the A1 dry noodle combo. It comes with the soup on the side, you can sip it, or put into the noodle bowl. Make sure to get the condiments and flavor/season to your desire. It will be plain if you don't add the seasoning to your desire. Noodle king also offers chines donuts, veggie dish, steamed and fried buns with condensed milk which is delish. I look forward to trying more when I am in the area about $12-13 a bowl of soup. You pay at a screen and choose yourself and it will be delivered to you after.

I was hesitant to try Noodle King at first because of the mixed reviews, but I'm really glad I gave it a shot, I ordered the B4, which comes with beef shank and crispy pork belly. The pork belly was thinly sliced and added a nice crispiness to the noodles without being hard to eat. The broth was piping hot and was a bit mild in flavor but all you had to do was did in their various assortment of toppings like chili, peanuts, pickled veggies, chili oil and their salty sauce. I'm not too sure what it was but tasted a bit like soy sauce. I liked it and I'll be back.

Delicious! They have a little toppings bar so you can add what you like. Great noodle texture.

I ordered through the kiosk, but I think you can order at the counter too. The lady sitting behind the counter was hidden and I barely saw her.. she was unhelpful and kinda rude, seemed annoyed that I asked her a question. I wanted just crispy pork noodle soup but they said they were sold out. Doesn't make sense when I was able to order the crispy pork & braised pork combo. So, they're already off to a poor start imo. The noodles broke apart so easily and didn't have any chewiness to them, so disappointed there too. I guess I prefer skinnier rice noodles? Overall, I think they just weren't cooked well. Meat slices were very thin, which I kinda like. Flavor was ok. On the plain side, but fine with me. I like that you add your own toppings (they have peanuts, green onion, cilantro, chili oil, green beans, etc). I was carrying my child at the time so the lady from the kitchen offered to help scoop toppings for me, which I appreciated. Her service was a redeeming part of my experience.. when I was done adding toppings, she bagged it up for me. I gave an extra star just for her, but otherwise this was more of a 2 star experience. To all the businesses in this food court..not sure how they will survive, as I've yet to see many people in there eating. It doesn't help when your front counter people are hiding and unhelpful..

It was more delicious than I thought. Love the idea where I can add my own toppings. They have a cashier but also a kiosk to put your order. Lot's of place to seat down and eat.

    A-1 House Special

I ordered the A1 House Special, and it was extremely disappointing. The flavor was bland, and the portion of meat was very small. To make matters worse, the dish was missing the egg that was shown in the menu picture. When I asked about it, the staff claimed there was an egg shortage and pointed to a small sign explaining this--I wish they had a larger, more noticeable sign. If they're not including the egg, they should at least compensate by adding more meat. The meal also came with a bowl of soup, which was nothing more than hot water with a hint of salt--it was absolutely disgusting. Overall, I do not recommend this place!

A generous 2 rating. Noodle soup not hot and lacked flavor. Roasted pork not crunchy. Skimpy on meat. Did not refill several toppings in serving area (peanuts, etc) Meh!

Gamsahamnida! Back…read moreagain, and the food and service continue to be great! The chicken katsu is still one of the best I've had--light, crispy, and perfectly crunchy on the outside, with juicy, tender chicken inside. Every visit has been consistently delicious, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I also tried the spicy pork again. It's a bit different from the Korean spicy pork I'm used to. Instead of the pork being marinated so the flavor is deeply infused, it seems to be grilled first and then coated with the sauce. While it's not the traditional style I expected, it's still flavorful and worth trying if you're open to a different take on the dish. In addition the chicken gangjeong dish that requires it to be "deep fried chicken" needs additional time to get crunchy like you would expect. I think the sauce may have made the crunch disappear. The consistency in both the food and the service is what keeps bringing me back. I'm looking forward to working my way through the rest of the menu. Crispy, golden breading with a juicy pork cutlet underneath, smothered in a rich, savory Japanese-style curry that was comforting without being too heavy. Served with rice and fresh cabbage slaw, it made for a complete, satisfying meal. The bibimbap was fresh and well balanced, with plenty of vegetables, tender beef, and a perfectly fried egg that tied everything together. Every bite had a great mix of textures and flavor. The vibe is casual and welcoming. This is the kind of neighborhood spot you'll want to come back to whenever you're craving Korean comfort food. Rex Tip: Mix the bibimbap thoroughly before your first bite. Every ingredient is meant to come together, and that's when the flavors really shine. 5 ROARS from Focusaurus Rex

This is easily one of the best Chinese food spots in the area. My husband and I decided to treat ourselves on a Friday night after a long (and rough!) work week, so we ordered ahead on Uber Eats planning to just walk in and pick it up. However, when we arrived, our order wasn't ready yet and we had to wait about 10 more minutes. I'll admit, I was a bit annoyed at first--but then I realized how many people in Rancho must come here to satisfy their Chinese food cravings. It is a Friday night, after all, so they're clearly busy for a reason so can't complain that they're getting well deserved business! Good for them! The wait ended up being no longer than what they told us, and by the time we got our food, it was hot, fresh, and still perfectly ready to eat for when we got home. I ordered the Sesame Chicken Plate, and my husband got the Chicken Fried Rice and Salt Pepper Chicken. Everything was extremely tasty--we literally couldn't stop eating and had to tell ourselves to stop so we don't feel extra bloated. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Out of all the spots we tried, this one easily stood out for having the best overall quality. I ordered the shrimp chow fun, which was full of flavor and had a great balance of noodles and shrimp, nothing felt skimpy. I also tried the green onion pancake, which came with a dipping sauce on the side. It was light, crispy, and really satisfying. The pork bun was another highlight. Super fresh and a good size. For drinks, I ordered their oat milk matcha latte, which they hand whisk. It tasted smooth and well made; they only offer maple syrup as a sweetener, and I asked for half the amount, which worked out nicely. The gentleman at the register was also incredibly friendly because after I placed my order, he handed me a handmade dish scrubber that he said his mom made, which was such a thoughtful and sweet gesture. Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're visiting the food court. While the portions are a bit smaller than what you'd get at a typical restaurant, the quality makes up for it, and the pricing feels fair for what you're getting. It's a solid option if you're looking for tasty, well prepared food with genuinely kind service.

When we walked in, the place seemed a bit light on customers, and we were politely informed that the food might take longer than usual due to understaffing. We weren't necessarily in a rush, so we proceeded with ordering. To start, we had the Melting Albacore. It sounded similar to a dish we've had at another restaurant, so we just had to get it to compare. The presentation wasn't great. The daikon looked like it was just slapped on the plate with the sauce. Perhaps sauce in a ramekin on the side could help clean up the presentation. The fish quality was alright, and the crab mix was decent. It felt like maybe the sauce was actively there to cover up where some parts of the dish were lacking. Not a terrible dish overall, but I think it needs better execution. The two rolls we got were the North Star and Aspen. Both decent rolls, but the Aspen really shined (ironic given the other name) with punchier flavors from the lemon and jalapeños. Also, the torch helped to make all the flavors more cohesive. The North Star brought in a better assortment of fish, but similar to the Melting Albacore dish, I wasn't a huge fan of the fish quality. Will I come back here? Probably not, but I do have to give it to our server. She was so amicable that it was hard to really have a negative thought about the dining experience at the time. Also, I thought the dishes came out within a reasonable timeframe, even if they weren't understaffed.
