Very chic, modern ambiance. Cafe front half of the house and back half is clothing. Beautiful tranquil setting to enjoy your drink. Ask for it to stay (nice cup) to really enjoy the ambiance Def alittle haven in the bustling SoHo area, to chill after non stop shopping

This is a very nice coffee shop that has studio vibes. It's all glass, mirrors, stone, and marble with nice chandelier lighting. The door going in was huge and all glass with big greens in vases around the entrance. A warm welcoming vibe. The coffee bar is located in the middle of the place with seats and tables all against the wall around the coffee bar so you can see the baristas making coffee and drinks. Their menu is pretty simple and not too extensive. You got the coffees, teas, and special drinks. I decided to go with the coffee with pineapple foam, which is a fizzy drink since this was my first time here. I got it to dine and it came in a glass like it was an alcoholic drink. It looked so cool with the foam on the top! It looked very silky smooth as I cleaned off the foam. Very fizzy and sweet like pineapple! The coffee had subtle aroma and not that strong. Very good for people who hate strong brew coffee flavor. The foam really made the coffee subtle and light. Good thing about this place is that it is decorated with outlets all around you in case you need to charge your phone or laptop. The stone tables are a tad bit small and too low profile so if you're deciding to work here then it's not really the best thing because the tables are not ergonomically suited for computers. I had to bent my whole body down to look at the computer, which was uncomfortable. Music is kind of loud if you need to relax. Music is lounge music. Towards the middle of the place is a large tree with clothes on a rack. Then there is a wall separating the coffee place from what's going on behind the wooden wall. Did not check it out and will try to see what is behind the wooden wall next time I'm back here.

"I am intimidated to go in there" - my husband when we first walked past this place. We were staying next door, and at first we didn't realize they had coffee/tea/pastries. It looked more like a department store. Decent coffee, kinda pricey but you get the disposable cups with the rounded edges (iykyk the little details lol). Lots of seating around the spot and it's a beautiful place to rest your feet as you're bopping around SoHo.

Exceptional pour over and espresso! Staff was so nice . Friend had Matcha, said it was outstanding!

I ordered 2 pastries, an oatmeal latte and cold brew to stay. The plates were so cute and the coffee was just very light and okay. If I were to come again, I would probably only get a cold brew. The vibes inside is cute but the layout isn't the greatest. People pool up and block up the walk due due to the register being smacked in the middle of the store. There are seats for you to sit and a clothing store in the back.

Their staff is so friendly, and I'm so glad my friend and I made the trek to SoHo to try this coffee shop! I'm pretty sure it's Korean-inspired or Korean-owned because a lot of their lattes and pastries have Asian ingredients. They definitely have pretty innovative and creative drinks, but I wouldn't expect to get your caffeine intake here because it's definitely just a cafe for a cute little drink or treat. My friend and I tried two of their most popular drinks, and they were really interesting and unique. We also shared their matcha fudge (?), and it was heavy but really nice. The interior is so stunning, and they also operate as a clothing store!

Vibes on point in here. I love this coffee joint so much I came here everyday while I was out here on business. I did a little work inside as well since it's really calming inside. I plan to swing by when I come back. Coffee was delicious! I had an oatmilk latte iced & it's so tasty it didn't need any sweeteners. I had a croissant, which was really good as well.

This sip-and-shop cafe is so cute! The interior is a lot more spacious than I expected, but it makes sense as there's a whole shopping area in the back. As for the cafe side, this is definitely more of a casual stop-by and rest/chat with a drink, rather than a working/laptop cafe. I got their latte and my friend got their matcha latte (sweetened). Both were solid, but nothing exceptional.

I've been to Manjul five times now and each visit has been consistently excellent. It's not just a coffee shop, it's a vibe. A beautiful hybrid of coffee, curated clothing, and calm energy. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the space is always clean and thoughtfully laid out. I usually just ask for "something healthy and cold," and they never disappoint. Every drink I've had, all recommended by the team, has been flavorful, refreshing, and unique. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It's spacious, relaxed, and attracts a cosmopolitan crowd: creatives, travelers, digital nomads, and locals alike. The interior design is warm and modern, with just enough seating inside and some nice wooden benches out front that give it a neighborhood feel. There are a few power outlets, but not too many, which I actually appreciate. It helps keep the space balanced between social and work-friendly. I don't often leave five-star reviews, but after multiple great experiences, Manjul absolutely deserves it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a chill, stylish spot with great drinks and even better energy. Cheers.

Beautiful space but avoid the matcha. I got an iced matcha latte with oat milk but it just tasted like milk. Nice ambience though and free wifi.

It's a gorgeous interior. It's expensive taste in here with lots of seating for pairs or individuals. The coffee itself I got was not worth the price tag (8 dollars). The pineapple foam and coffee syrup with sparkling water just wasn't doing anything for me in terms of volume, texture or taste. Too light for me.

Most friendly staff ever, beautiful latte art (yummy too), and stunning vibes! It is so "New York" to have a clothing/garment shop attached to the side for extra vibes. Being able to lean on the wall is very comfy while making good use of the space and they have free wifi! However, it is pretty loud here so I wouldn't suggest it as a wfh friendly place. Would absolutely come back and recommend to friends!

If you want to have coffee under a plastic tree inside a high-end clothing store, look no further. And by the way, I know I called it a plastic tree, but it's a very nice one. The seating is also much more conducive to actually having a coffee than some other stores of this ilk. It's a new thing. Come for the coffee buy a shirt. I don't know how it works. I guess they're trying it out. Soon we'll know if it's the latest successful marketing ploy or a passing fad.

Perhaps the best coffee I've ever experienced. I had the Kenya over ice with oat milk. Mind blowing. Unpretentious friendly staff.

This is a review for their New Years Eve event. Last minute booking a few days before. Very pleased…read moreoverall. Very cute speakeasy. For starters it was not crowded at all, there was seating for every reservation (been to a standing room only NYE party in past elsewhere in the city not fun). In fact maybe only 20% capacity, felt like a tiny private event. Included in the package I made on resy was open bar including classic cocktails plus a bottle of champagne. All the drinks were spectacular and well crafted. Also included was a 1 snack per reservation, which we opted for the charcuterie board that was delicious, other options include chips and guacamole, hummus with crudités. Overall was a classy vibe, far away from tourist or rowdy crowd. We were well attended to the whole night. If you're looking for something low key and a bit classy plus have a love for craft cocktails then this is a really great option and worth the money.

The TV screen is a bonus, although the ones on the side are a bit small, and there's no audio for the TV. For the drinks, they sound very good on paper, but for some reason I could not taste every thing. The cold brew negroni was good, a bit too sweet for my taste, but the coffee was truly there. Not enough ice though and the drink got diluted too fast. For the peat & tiki, it was really just a sweet syrupy tiki drink, and I barely tasted the peat, if it was there at all. This one they used a tall ice cube though which I appreciated.

The craftsmanship really stands out the stitching, the fit, and the overall finish are excellent. You can tell it's truly custom made. Gioia helped me this time and she is so lovely. She was very attentive and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. She made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Neal handled the measurements and was extremely thorough. I mentioned that I'm actively losing weight, and he made sure to take that into account so the suit would still fit well as my body changes. That level of care really stood out to me. Alan was also incredibly generous. I was able to use a store credit he had provided, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about his customers and wants to make sure everything goes well. That kind of service is rare these days. The Madison Avenue showroom is beautiful and the whole team makes you feel very welcome. I've had a really positive experience every time I've come here. If you're looking for a custom suit, jacket, or dress coat, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

*updated stars after communication from owner*…read more I think the quality at Alan David is very good--my previous suit from them is excellent and gets frequent compliments. That's why I returned in May 2025 to order a sportcoat. Unfortunately, the customer service this time fell short of my expectations. By late August, I realized I hadn't heard anything about the order and called for an update. I was told the fabric had been out of stock and later delayed due to the factory's vacation schedule, which seemed reasonable enough. In September, they contacted me for a fitting, but the appointment date inadvertently fell on a holiday when the store was closed. I rescheduled for October. At that visit, I was told the jacket would be ready in a few weeks, but again, no one reached out. In December--more than six months after ordering--I called once more and received a text saying they'd follow up with an estimated date. When I expressed frustration about the lengthy delay, they acknowledged that the initial order had been submitted late, which contradicted earlier explanations. To their credit, they took responsibility and offered a generous store credit, which was appreciated but not expected. The reason for my three-star rating isn't the final product, which was fine, but the lack of proactive communication. I had to repeatedly contact them just to understand what was happening with an order that had been paid for months earlier. Even my salesperson at Macy's is more proactive--and I don't spend thousands of dollars at a time there. My husband has had consistently positive experiences at Alan David, so I do believe my situation was an outlier and wouldn't discourage others from trying them. They ultimately handled the service recovery well; I only wish the issue had been acknowledged and addressed earlier. My hope is simply that their follow-up and order tracking become more reliable moving forward because otherwise, you might be left with the feeling that once you've paid, nobody really cares.
