Horrible service. I visited for the first time today and will NEVER be back. I told the person doing my nails he would need to file down some of the acrylic because I saw It was leaving hills and mounts. He said ok, and filed, but the hills remained. I also told the second person (who painted my nails that I didn't like my nails and they were not flat. She did 1 nail and left the rest. When leaving, I was transparent about not liking my nails. The person who painted my nails, came up to the cashier while Inshared my experience and mumbled something in their language. I'm certain she was talking mess. While the cashier was apologetic, and gave me a whopping 5% off, I still paid $130 for nails I absolutely hate! I am leaving to go out of town tomorrow (and they were closing) or I would had insisted they remove them. Honestly I was so pissed, I barely said bye to the person cashing me out. Such a sorry pedicure. Do it right instead of rushing. I left with my feet looking the same as when I went in other than polish. I took pictures and went back and she claimed I need to pay more to get dead skin off. Isn't that what a pedicure is? I think I deserve a refund. The front lady was nice but the service just didn't seem great, the guy sprayed rubbing alcohol all over instead of just my feet. Then when painting my toes he didn't put a base coat on one foot and when I asked he put it on the other foot, then used the base coat instead of a top coat. This place is definitely not my top place to go to. I came in showed them the pictures of what I wanted which was not very hard. They then proceeded to make fun of the fact that my nails were longer which doesn't sound rude but it is, after I got my nails done they were NOTHING like the picture and You can barely see the colors on my nails! The employees were not only rude but very inappropriate putting their opinions in things that have nothing to do with them. I feel it was rude to talk to a costumer that way on top of not being able to deliver the service that was requested. If you cannot deliver the service that was requested you need to tell the costumer that so they can take their business somewhere who can. They were rude and in a job like this you don't get to be rude. Hospitality and customer service are for the customers if you cannot do that, then you were in the wrong business. read more

I was going on vacation so I didn't have time to go back and get them fixed. This happened bc they cured my gel manicure under the UV light too long. The lady doing my nails just kept putting me back under the light if she wasn't finished with the other hand. They looked at my nail and said that it can be fixed with acrylic, which is the normal treatment. Tried to get a pedicure today. Arrived at 5:25. The very polite front desk person informed my SIL and myself that it would be about a 20 minute wait...no problem. We left and came back at 5:45. We were put in chairs but no water for about 15-20 minutes. Then after the water was added, no one put on the jets. At this point it's 6:15, so I took my wet feet to the restroom, got paper towels, dried my feet and left. I thought being busy was a good sign but not communicating more realistic wait times is not good business. Will not return. read more

Went in for eyelash extension, these aren't the ones that put individually and that look natural. These are ardell lashes ser of three's and she glues them on and they should lash 2 weeks. They have different lengths. I got the long ones so they look lifted and whisky. I would come again for a new set which is $35. read more

I had an appointment made for 6 and no one got to me till 7 and I didn't end up leaving till 8:30. I showed them a picture and it wasn't till after they were done where they told me they couldn't do what I wanted. He also filed the tips all the way down to my natural nail and then told me my nails were too short when I didn't want them that short. I had to wear a band aid to cover up the missing half nail. I didn't think they would repair it. I always use Johnny and he is a great nail person. The shop is very crowded on Friday and Saturday. They also put towels at front door when it rains. These roll up and are a safety hazard for tripping when entering shop. This shop needs to enlarge. I noticed several walk-ins left because wait was 30 min with out appointment. I'm absolutely unsatisfied.. To anybody thinking about getting lashes here DONT. I've lost more than half of my own lashes and I'm beyond upset. I took super good care of them too. I came with my family to get our nails done and I decided to get eyelash extensions! I was so excited since I've never had them done. The lady got them done super quick and was sweet but unfortunately I ran into some issues. Since I don't live in Tennessee, I'm glad to say I'm never returning to this place, however the lady who does the lashes here needs to go back to school. About 5 days after getting them done I woke up to find part of the extension hanging on by my own lash. So I panicked because it was a huge chunk. I took a shower and as soon as I got out (I never got the lashes wet) the other side began to come out. Immediately I looked to see where I can get them PROFESSIONALLY removed and luckily there was a place open here in Arizona where I'm from and live. I went in and the lady looked at me like it was something she had never seen before. She took me back and the whole process took about an hour. After we were done she told me that the lashes are PLASTIC and that the lady from Manhattan Nails put FOUR TIMES the amount of glue than needed. She also clumped them together hence why it went by so quick. She also GLUED THEM TO MY SKIN AND UNDER MY WATER LINE. So never get lashes done here. Nails? Hell yes. They do a good job with that. I went to go get my eyebrows waxed for Prom, and after the lady takes off the wax to my eyebrow she then asks "Do you use any cream?" and I replied "Yes, for acne" and she said "Oh no! Why didn't you tell me before?" and I come to find out she literally RIPPED THE SKIN OFF FROM UNDERNEATH MY EYEBROW. I've been going to Manhattan's Nail salon since February. My first two experiences were absolutely horrible. Then I changed nail technicians and things went okay for a while. But this Last time I went, I ended up being extremely disappointed again. The quality of the products used to do my nails basically cracked and came off my two of my nails within a week of getting them done. I also had my eyebrows done there, and when I walked out and saw the tint she did, made me look like groucho Marx. Way too dark and way too thick.
