It's a bit tricky yo find the salon, but then you enter, it's cozy, welcoming and very clean. Kira did my pedicure. Off the bat: no foot soaks ! She explained how damaging it is to soak your feet then use rough instruments . Sigh! Kira uses medical instruments. She is meticulous and skillful . She told me she's been doing this for a couple of decades! I renamed my service to MEDICURE! I received a medical grade pedicure while in a recliner, having great conversation and feeling like I HAVE ARRIVED!!!

I chose a very soft and light sea foam green/sage dip powder because I'm going to the beach in a few days. The man who did my nails pointed at the dip I chose and said, "You want color like this?" I was confused and said, "Yes, that color." He picked up the dip powder, walked away, and put it back on the shelf. He came back with a dark Christmas tree green gel polish. I don't know the process of dip nails since I have never done them before. I thought maybe he would go get the powder later. I didn't notice he switched the color and style of nails until he had finished my left hand already since I was reading on my Kindle. I have extreme social anxiety and wasn't able to tell him he didn't do a single thing I asked for. I asked for dip and he gave me gel. I asked for soft sage green and he gave me the grinch. First photo is the color I chose and the second is the nails I left with. Needless to say, I cried as soon as I left and I will never be going back there. He was also very heavy handed and hurt my toes several times. My mother in law tried to treat me to something nice and I left crying and feeling as if I looked ungrateful. Do not recommend this place. They don't listen, apparently. I would also like to add that I rarely if ever leave bad reviews. I don't like hurting businesses. But the fact that he did this without even asking has me so upset.

Unfortunately, they didn't have an opening for over an hour. After setting a later appointment, we retuned and got sat right away. One of us got a basic pedicure and the other got a full set. They did 2 other walk-Ins after closing while I was there..and they were nice about it. Laughing and talking..really nice people. Highly skilled too..I do manual labor. My nails never lifted or broke. Oh and they dont grind down your natural. My natural nails were perfect and long underneath the acrylic. No damage. I highly recommend.
