Fantastic!! Online checkin was a breeze. Cutting short, curly hair can be a challenge, Vickie gave me the best cut I've had in years. The 4th of July painting on the front windows was a great show of patriotism. Thank you. read more

Quality of service is below par! Misty indicated she had been a hair stylist for approximately 20 years and could not complete a simple layering on long hair. She took an inch off and did not blend hair correctly. I ended up with a terrible hair cut which put me in tears. So, I went to a new salon in Turkey Creek. The stylist corrected the uneven cut and had to take more off the length to blend in the layers. So sad that I did not go there first. Please know that I really wanted Salon Anew to work due to the convenient location, but if you want a professional haircut, please look elsewhere. Also, I placed a review that they email out, but no response from management. Not even an "I'm sorry, how can we correct it!" If , I could give zero I would!!! read more

So far I give this salon a one star. I've been trying for 2 days to make an appt. It m a new customer so they won't let me set it up online. They do NOT answer their phones. I was on hold for 15 minutes each using 2 cell phones and they refused to pick up. Message said I was the next caller over and over on both phones but it is clear they only want you to leave a message. I left message and got a call back but I'm not on telephones regularly. I drove over just now and got here at 4:55 pm (I work ) and they were closed!! The hours are 9-5 only 4 days a week! I returned their phone call then at 5:01 pm from my cell. It would not let me leave a message. This is insane. I can't be the only one that has this problem. read more

The person I saw didn't really listen to what I wanted and just cut it the way she thought it should look. I even showed pictures of how it was before and still couldn't convince her it wasn't the same. She even did a blow dry in a style that was entirely inconsistent with the picture. I won't go back. read more

Great salon! Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. I first found this salon when we were just looking at property in Tellico Village. We had stopped at Food Lion to pick up a few things, and to use the restroom, but they were out of order that day. So, I ran next door to Salon Anew and asked if I could use theirs. Misty said, "of course" and showed me where to go. I decided then and there if we moved to TV, that would be my first salon choice to try out for a haircut, since they were so nice and accommodating. Fast forward 6 months. We move to TV. I get a haircut and highlights from Misty, and have gone to her for over a year now. She is fantastic! I have received a number of compliments for the good work she does. The Salon Anew staff are good people!! read more

I've been extremely pleased with the talent and results I have received from Misty. Very few salons offer soft wave perms. I received exactly what I was looking for. Soft no frizzy curls! Then went back for a creative low lights/high lights blended into my blonde/white hair. Stunning job! Thanks. read more

Beware of stylist Kristina Oswalt, she literally destroyed my long blond hair! I tried this salon because it was close to my home and because Kristina was listed as a color specialist in 6 different lines. Because I have very thick, course hair that has been processed blonde my whole adult life, I needed someone that was truly a color specialist. I moved from California to Loudon, TN last summer and had held off finding a stylist in my area because I was so nervous. I had my stylist in Cali send me the EXACT formulas she used on my hair for both color and toner. When I sat down with Kristina I was very clear with her on wanting to be bright blonde again and told her of my concern that I would end up with a color band from my dark root grow out. She assured me she knew what she was doing and she knew exactly what my stylist was telling her. We all agreed I needed a very tight foil weave and so I sat there for the next 4 hours. As a side note, the salon has all the mirrors hung so high that you can't see yourself when you are sitting down so you have no idea what you look like as the process is going on (I could literally only see the top of my head) During the 4 hours, I repeatedly asked questions and voiced my concern about a color band as I could see she was not pulling the color through on any of the foils. When I got to the bowl to be rinsed and washed, I realized she wasn't toning my hair. She stated the color looked perfect and I didn't need toning (I have ALWAYS needed toning or the color gets brassy and orange). At this point I was becoming very nervous but again, I couldn't see anything from the mirror as she started drying me. Once she was done drying, it was time for the cut. I had a few layers in my hair and asked her to clean everything up. She proceeded to grab a razor and started butchering my hair! I have thick course hair and a razor is the last thing she should have been using. I was getting so nervous at this point but again, I couldn't see anything! She finally stepped back, accessed what she did and actually called another stylist over to try and "fix" my hair!! The stylist attempted to even it out but it was hopeless at that point. When I stood up, I about died... My color was an absolute mess with orange brassy spots throughout, a massive color band from my root grow out and you literally couldn't tell I just had my hair done my roots were still so dark overall. Then I tilted my head to the side and saw the jagged cuts everywhere. Kristina was quiet and when I told her it needed a lot of work, she said I could come back Friday and she would fix it! This was after 4 hours of her ruining my hair and she wanted me to come back and pay her again to try and fix it! Kristina walked to the back and never came up to the front desk where I was paying. I begrudgingly paid and left. I immediately FaceTimed my stylist in California and she was shocked at what she saw. I was so devastated but at this point, I desperately needed my hair fixed so I booked a last minute ticket to Cali. She assessed the damage and said she needed to cut my hair off. I went from mid back length hair to an extreme short cut because of the crazy cuts she made everywhere. The color correction took hours and I still need to go back for more my hair was so destroyed. I tried holding off writing my review until the owner addressed me but unfortunately, that never happened. Being a new customer, I did receive an email, supposedly from the owners personal account requesting feedback, but when I sent her a very detailed account of what happened with pictures, she never personally responded and had her front desk person call me instead. She stated they were refunding my money but with absolutely no acknowledgment of what happened or even an apology. As a small business owner myself, I was shocked that she didn't take the time to respond. What is worse is that the stylist, Kristina Oswalt, still works there! She is still proudly displayed on their website as a "color specialist". A truly horrifying experience!! read more

Misty did a great job with my color and highlights. She is always patient and very nice. She also is the best at eyebrow waxing.

I have to say this was the worst haircut I ever had. Choppy all over and longer pieces hanging down like strings. I had to cut pieces myself Have to wear a hat as I am embarrassed. Gonna take months to grow out. Disgusted read more

My husband and I are new to TN and Tellico Village. I had a pedicure at Salon Anew and for $40 I expected what they described. I am sorry to say that this was the worst pedicure I have ever had. No effort was given to removing the dead skin on the bottom of the thumb, around the nails, or giving me straight nails and the so called massage was a joke - lasted no longer than 3-4 minutes. There were no flip flops given to give your nails a chance to dry. I was told to sit at the chair for 10mn and they would dry - no - they did not. I smeared one touching it because I was told it would be dry. yes - she redid the nail - but then I had to wait even longer. You will never see me again!!!! read more

I got a good cut from Keisha, as this was my first time there. My husband went as well and liked his cut. My appointment was delayed as there was limited staff to answer phones and help people at the front desk. But they'll break down the services any way you want them. I chose a shampoo and haircut with no styling, and that was fine. read more
