So unfortunately after going here for a couple years to have my nails done I decided to try a lash lift. The owner told me she was trained & licensed for this service along with others. It seemed straight forward & an inexpensive treat for myself. What happened next was a nightmare. During the treatment in my lashes the solution used started burning terribly but she assured me it would stop. It didn't. She continued & so did the burning. By the time it was done I could barely see & my eyes were tearing horribly. I had to drive 50 minutes home & I couldn't hardly see anything even with sunglasses on. She never even asked if I was okay or offered any assistance before I left. When I got home my eyes had started to swell to the point that I looked I'd been beat up. I called my eye Doctor who got me in first thing the next morning. Both my eyes were terribly burned, and it took a couple of months to recover fully. The owner never called to check up on me. It cost a few hundred dollars in eye doctor visits that I should have asked her to pay for but honestly, I was so shocked by her casualness that I just couldn't bare to deal with her anymore. It's been about a year since this happened and I'm writing this review now as a warning because I don't want anybody else to experience what I did. read more

I wanted to like them but when my receipt and price was altered I was livid. Ok I came in at 5 30 they closed at 630 , close to but an hour should Be long enough to cut down and add French. She was pleasant while doing my nails and Assured me she would fix anything I didn't like. The part that upset me was a fill is $20 and gel is $20 why did She charge me $65 she said my nails were long but mind I I came in with my nails done she didn't have to lay the acrylic. this place sucks so much. My daughter and I went there to get her nails done. It was supposed to be a fully acryllic set to be done. After having clued them on it showed the nails were curved like eagle crawls. She got told it is a result of her short nail bed. After me asking more, she got told, they never look different because they are so long. Needless to say if the finger was made straightened and horizontal the nails easily could touch the surface.... they looked like eagle claws. Again my daughter almost cried and wanted to get this undone. So the lady cut off all already clued 10 nails, wrapped all fingers in a kind of cotton woll with acetone and put some aluminium foil around it. Furthermore she gave my daugther a file to get it fully off at home while stating if she would remove it, it would take her time and costs were involved. Then she send us our way. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE HOW WE WERE TREATED !!! AGAIN, SHE SEND MY DAUGHTER HOME WITH THESE NAILS ON - look at the pictures !!!! While driving home my daugther complained about her fingers hurting and burning feeling. Al home we removed the aluminum foil, cotton woll full of acetone and saw the disaster. The nails looked terrible. Also her finger bed of her middle finger is destroyed. She now tries for 2h to remove the rest of the nails which wrongfully had been put on. Its not working. We will go to another Nail place hoping they can repair what this lady had broken !!! The service was continuously very unfriendly not listening to my daughter concerns while doing her nails. The lady just wanted to finished, was unpatient, insensitive and unfriendly. Also to send us our way with the nails halfway done, cut off and then sucked in acetone and the advise to get them off within 30min with a file is UNBELIEVABLE !!!!! YOU SUCK !!! read more

They are very detailed and take their time with every finger and toe. This will be my new spa place. Funny thing... To the Yelp reviewer 'Michelle T.' I was there when you were in the salon, and needless to say YOU were the one that was actually very rude. The lady told you exactly what the process would be since you had to do so much and she told you the price. I don't think it's right for you to give them 1 star because you're a nasty person. I happened in on this place by lucky accident. I am in from out of town for business, and needed a place to get my nails done. They did such a great job I stayed and had them do a pedicure too. The staff is very polite and seem to anticipate their costumer's needs before the costumer does. That's a nice thing too, because as having worked already a long day, I really just want to relax and be pampered! This is a new Solon, and the facilities are really clean and comfortable. They have lots and lots of different options for their services, so one could just get a basic pedicure and be in or out, or if so inclined, one could get a spa quality pedicure and pamper themselves! One nice touch, during my manicure, they gave my hands a warm lotion massage, capping it off with hot towel wrap. This was a very pleasant surprise! I highly recommend this Solon! read more

I have been here 4 times, but after my last visit I said NO MORE. While they do a good job on nails their customer service is terrible. The first time I came, I had made an appointment based on Yelp reviews with the owner/manager. She was friendly and courteous and did a fantastic job on my nails. Before I left she told me that it was not necessary to request her personally because she trained all her nail techs to do quality work. I referred many people to the salon based on that excellent experience. Taking her advice I came back and brought my cousin with me and asked for whoever was available. I have to say that we had a different experience. We were barely greeted and then given no instructions, except "pick your color". Finally after standing there wondering what was next, someone told us to "go over there", waving in the general area of the chairs with basins. I started over there and was told "no no!" and pointed to an area to sit and wait. The tech that did my nails was not friendly and barely spoke to me. My cousin's tech was quiet but polite. The work was ok,, but the techs clearly care nothing about customer service; pulling your feet and pushing them in water instead of saying "please put them up, in water" etc. There is no conversation, no interest in you as a human being, no goodbye, come again, smile..nothing. This was my experience the next 2 times also. I continued to come here because the work was good and I was new to area. On my last visit I walked into an empty salon, no customers, with many techs. When I walked in they all looked at me and laughed. They never offered any explanation, I guess it was a private joke. I asked if I could get mani pedi and they said yes, but no one got up or said anything else, they continued talking and laughing until I asked what was I suppose to do. They said "pick your color". I always bring my own polish and so I told them that. Finally one of them went to the chair area and started filling a basin, still not acknowledging me or telling me what to do. I said "are you doing my nails, should I come over there?" and she said yes. I sat down and put my feet in. She continued to talk to other techs, ignoring me. The entire appintment was that way. They all laughed and joked with each other, ignoring other customers who came in and yelling jokes across salon in another language and laughing. When my toenails and finger nails were done, I paid ($50 for mani pedi..which seems high) I was told to "go over there". I assumed it was the drying table she was pointing to, so I went there but no one turned it on or gave instructions and I had to figure it out. No one told me how long to stay there, so I finally checked my own nails and walked out, with tissue still wrapped around my toes. I got no "goodbye", no "thank you", no "come again". So I won't. To the manager. You might mention to your techs that a big part of the salon experience is to feel like you are being cared for. For many women with hard jobs, stressful lives, kids, health conditions, this is something we very much look forward to and anticipate. We want to have one day where we feel like our needs are met. To take money out of our budgets for this luxury is a big deal to many women, but worth every penny and worth doing every month if we leave feeling good. In return for that good experience we tip well..at least I do..so it benefits your techs to give that experience. Note: For those sensitive to chemical smell, this salon has very strong chemical smell and no ventilation that I could see. read more

Chrissy, took care of me today! I got the basic pedicure and a gel polish with basic manicure. I am a very picky person and was skeptical at first. But it was actually very nice and everyone was very polite and friendly!! And Chrissy did a wonderful job! I also watched everyone else do other nails and they took good care. The polish smell was not at all potent. It was a bit chemical smelling only when the acrylics were being done , but that is normal. The salon was also very clean. I will definitely be going back. I have been coming to LV Nails since they first opened their family run salon -- so about 2 years. There are several reasons that I would go nowhere else. Karen and Tony, the owners, are truly interested in the quality of the work that comes out of their salon and also really care about their customers. Even though I know how hard they work to run their own business they never complain and are always super-nice and go out of their way to accommodate their customers. It's clear that they already have a large base of regulars who look forward to coming to their regular technician. That's a sign of a really good salon when they have several in-demand techs. The atmosphere is always light and friendly. There are no smells to offend -- I have a very sensitive nose and this place is great. I'm not going to say who my favorite technicians are because then they'll be all booked up when I'm trying to go!
