I've been here 3 different times because I never want to base a bad experience off of one visit…read more Unfortunately each one was bad :/ the place itself is very nice looking. The owner seems nice but I only had maybe one interaction with him. The instruments don't ever look very clean, every time I've come they have me sit at a station and it's covered in dust, nails and dirty towels. I don't think I've ever seen them grab a fresh towel before starting on me. I got acrylics done the last visit before this one and he made them very thick, the acrylic also wasn't laid completely flat on my nail bed. So It was frustrating because I kept getting stuff stuck between where the acrylic and nail had gaps afterwards. This last time I came, I got my acrylic removed and just wanted a regular polish. The girl who worked on me was pretty much burning my fingers with the drill when removing the acrylic, I tried to hang in there but eventually had to ask for her to take it a little easier. She was on a call for about half of the time and when I got my polish and left, I noticed my nails weren't filed evenly and the polish didn't cover my nails completely in some areas. I don't like making a fuss about those things so I just left it alone but sadly this will be the last time I come here. It's pricy getting nails done now a days so I really don't want to pay a forth time for the same experience again. I was just hoping this place lived up to the hype I read about but it's not the place for me.

I told her as she was on third row. She smile and nod and keep going. So I just said forget it. Second time was to get the gel off. And wanted regular on toes . Didn't do hands . As my nails all broke off from first go about. Again no one spoke English well enough or acted as if they didn't til I was finished then a young girl asked if the lady did a good job. Well no. She didn't. I again asked and pointed to an exact color and asked for 1 accent nail. Welp again same lady did all of them w accent color. I told her on second row once again it was wrong- once again smile and nod keep going. She had lumps in the polish and sprayed w quick drying spray from Walmart, and continued to add multiple layers of clear coat that ended up just making it a gummy mess. It was ruined within 15 mins of walking out. I called the next morning and asked for it to be fixed by someone else. Imas this was the second time I was not done properly. And was told if someone else corrected the mistake I'd be charged. :/ She redid the toes that were gummy and again I expected them to be fixed as I asked for- one accent nail and I explained to girl on phone this was second time I paid for and tipped for something I didn't want. I suggest going somewhere else . I am disgusted by the gathering of people talking and snickering while you sit there trying to explain "wrong color" and what you ask and pay for isn't done right. Won't be back. Wish I never used the gift card.

He was also very friendly. My sister in law who came with me didn't get quite the experience I had, as the girl doing her nails rushed and was done very quickly so she had to sit and wait for me to be done. The only other issue is that my gel polish came clean off my nails about 2 weeks after I got them done; usually I'm able to enjoy it much longer than that, but the gel literally popped right off like it didn't cure/adhere properly. Good price though and would probably go back to give them another chance.

I'll admit I did not have an appointment, however, aside from staff there was only one other person in the salon getting a pedicure. I went in for a fill and the tech seemed annoyed I was there and he was assigned to assist me. The whole experience was awkward but, I get people have bad days and just sat in silence as he worked on my nails. He didn't listen to what I requested and did a poor job. It's been three days and I have a nail lifting and multiple others that have chipped polish because he didn't apply any top coat after color. I was excited to try a new salon but, I very highly doubt I'll be going back to Mystique Nail Spa.
