Tried this place recently as I have been going back to previous city for nails. Overall impression - dirty and not relaxing. Holes in walls, no evidence of equipment sanitization, dog on chair with owner, and child of owner running around and bothering patrons. The biggest issue was all customer nails going into dip jars used previously. Infections waiting to happen here and NOT a relaxing atmosphere. NOT for me. I'm used to A LOT cleaner and less noisy. read more

Though this type of place is not my usual hangout. We have been here twice and my girlfriend is convinced that Mia gives the best manicures. As the boyfriend I will say that I appreciate the fact it doesn't take her forever to do the manicure either. Roughly 40 minutes and we were done. Unlike a spot we visited in Orlando which took over two hours. While I can't personally attest to the quality of work at Angel nails, I will just have to trust my partners option and drop this review right here! read more

1/4/24 Love going there until today. The owner, Christina, was screaming at a long standing employee. The employee was working with a customer and Christina just lit in to her. Totally wrong to talk to anyone like that, but in the store while 6 customers were in there, was awful. Her tone was scaring me, she very vicious with her tone and her eyes and slinging her arms around, all while speaking in their foreign language. Just uncalled for! Best nail salon in the Farragut area! My mom gets her SNS done here and raves about the service and quality of the salon. I went with her this time and got a gel manicure. The service was quick and done right! Staff is exceptionally nice and talented. The salon is clean and bright, the staff always gets you started as soon as you walk in. I've almost never had to wait. I love coming to Angel Nails! I always have Hein do my nails because he does them exactly how I like them, but I know a lot of people love Christina! They have gel, acrylic, dip powder, and of course they do pedicures. If you're looking for a super fancy place to get a pedicure I wouldn't recommend Angel Nails (I would go to Jazzy Nails down the road), but if you like your hands done and done exactly how you want them then you should come to Angel Nails! Their motto is "friendliest nail salon in town" and it is absolutely true! They are super nice and have so many regulars that go there because of their superb work. They speak excellent English, which is a bonus! read more

Nice place and okay prices but the nail tech who did my pedicure did not do a good job. I thought about saying something when I left, it was that noticeable, but it was gel so what were they going to do. It was not opaque, color all over my cuticles, nails cut too short, and just really messy. By the time I got home I had to take a file and cuticle cutter to my own toes to get some of the color off my skin. Massage chair I sat in was broken. I just wouldnt go back here for a pedicure. read more

So I went weeks over due for a fill in. Honestly, I kinda choose at random and I'm glad I did. I met with Mia and she was the sweetest. Well this is one of my few poor ratings on Yelp. Totally disappointed and would never return. The salon is very cluttered and messy, the space is tight- small (even going to pick out a color I was in the way of people walking about) and the technician did a pretty cruddy job on the polish. I had a pedi. She did the polish at the end and then for some reason took off the polish on two toes then repainted them with one coat. I commented that it needed another coat and she said that was two. It was not. I left feeling like it was a waste of money and I'd need to repaint my own nails. ‍ read more

I have been going there for about a year even though I wasn't real crazy about the cleanliness of the place. It is small but it was close to home. There is only a couple techs I would see. I went in for a mani/pedi one afternoon about a week ago. The only one available to do pedicure was the older lady who no offense but doesn't do a good job. Messy and gel paint peels after a couple weeks. After I explained to Mia in a very nice and professional way that I did not want the elderly lady to do my toes that I would just skip the pedicure. Mia said she would come over and paint my toes for me so I did agreed to that. But no that DID NOT happen. Instead the owner came over and commented on how well my toes looked knowing very well they went against a customers wishes. I left there never to return. You do not take care of customers that way. I felt duped into a service that I definitely did not agree too. I later spoke with two of my friends who then told me they too had quit in the last couple weeks as they had poor customer service. So in 2 weeks time they have lost 3 good paying customers. Good luck to Angel Nails. They may want to rethink in how they are to customers. Anyone who reads this deciding to give them a try I would not do it. There are many more places in the area you can try. read more

Probably one of the worst manicures I have ever received. My nails weren't even cleaned up after the process was finished. I asked for my nails to be left the exact shape they were when I came in and left with chiclets for nails. The tips really aren't even squared off, they actually go the opposite direction of what a nail should. read more

First time getting my nails done and didn't really know what I wanted. When I first came in the employees just asked what I wanted when I had barely any clue. I wanted a gel built out nail but did not know the actual name of it so just said a gel manicure. One of the employees quickly rushed me to a chair and started my nails soaking when I said to her to clarify that I wanted acrylics so she looked at the original woman that asked me what I wanted when I came in to make sure that she knew what to do I assume and she checked with me and the lady doing my nails switched out with a man that was very friendly and talkative (unlike the first woman who was just getting things done). The nails turned out alright but they're very thick and textured. When I got home I had to file underneath the nail so it would stop getting caught in my hair, and had to remove a bit of polish from my thumb. Not the worst experience wish they would had taken care of my cuticles so they could apply the acrylic closer to it (they looked grown out after leaving the salon). Overall it's not the worst but not the best and I will be finding somewhere else to go. read more

My friend and I recently visited. Our eyebrows are not done right, they are crooked and uneven. Our nails are falling off and the lady who did my nails was rude!! Luckily, the man who did her nails was nice. I would not recommend, the cheap price might be good but it's worth the $5 extra to get it done right and look good! read more

They are absolutely terrible technicians, their quality is so poor that their gel nail procedures literally fall off after 4 days, and they lied and changed what they said the pricing was only after the procedures were completed. I recently booked an appointment for a mani-pedi. I spoke on the phone about pricing when I arranged my appointment and asked what the extra cost would be to have gel nail polish done rather than regular. They said, and reaffirmed when I questioned them further in detail, that the price of a mani-pedi with gel on both would be $45 rather than the price of a regular mani-pedi which was $35. I was shocked by the small difference and made sure to question and repeat what they had said 2 more times to them before I booked an appointment to have that procedure done. I had my nails done as we had spoken about on the phone and when I went to the checkout I was informed that the price was actually over $83! When myself and the other ladies I had gone with brought up the nearly doubled price the workers started to say that the person who had spoken on the phone with me hadn't said that price despite the fact that I had made sure several times to reconfirm what the price was. I ended up paying and had gone home unhappy but I was atleast expecting my nails to last. They did not. It hasn't been even 5 full days since I had the procedure done and already half of my nails have had the gel nail polish fall off of them. The quality of the work is poor and partially smudged, most of my nails were not fully covered in the polish, and my cuticles were so poorly addressed that the bottom of my nail polish where the nail starts is turned up and disconnected to the nail on each part. The nails were done poorly and they lied and changed the pricing of their procedures after they were completed. It was a highly unprofessional job and none of the people I went with were pleased at the end either. I wish I could give them no starts as I write this review because that is what they deserve. read more
