I 100% recommend Stanton, especially if you have curls, he's awesome! I've had so many traumatic hair experiences with stylists messing up my curly hair and giving me "dog ears" that I had just stopped going to salons because I always ended up in tears and would then have to grow out the bad layers for years. I was recommended by a friend to give Bella Color Studio a try and the owner set me up with an appointment with Stanton to cut my hair. He did an amazing job, took the time to listen to me, explained in detail how he was going to cut it and examined my hair first instead of just going to town on it. That in itself really eased my nerves. He cut it dry per my request, gave me a cut that was exactly what I wanted and now I feel happy again when I look at my hair, it looks so good, best cut I think I've had. I know sometimes it's hard to trust reviews because some people can have low expectations or think something mediocre looks good, but over the years I've splurged and had my hair cut in very expensive salons in Miami and Atlanta trying to find someone who wouldn't mess up my curls and in my experience he is better and way more affordable. I went to THE Ouidad Salon in Ft. Lauderdale where they specialize in curly cuts that start at $128 and still, his cut was better. I have finally found a stylist I can trust! Brandi has been doing my hair since I moved to Murphy from Florida. I was very nervous about finding a stylist after living in Florida all of my life in a big busy town and using the same stylist for 10 years. I searched a group through Facebook online and Bella was recommended so I called and Brandi is who I scheduled with and she is amazing. I'm a complex customer. Naturally curly hair who wants it blown out, dark hair who has grays peaking out that wants them gone. She takes great care of me!! Her price is very reasonable!!! I can't say enough about the services that I received from Holly! I would give her a 10 plus if I could! I live in Florida but have a place in Murphy. I'm in Murphy a couple of times a year. While here I need to visit a salon. Friends of mine recommend Holly. I received the best root color and hair cut in my life from Holly! I will definitely go back to her! I was greeted by my stylist Autumn and one other stylist as I enteted the facility. I noted the area was clean and free of clutter. Autumn was very professional and listened to what I wanted then she proceeded to explain the necessary steps to achieve the results I wanted. Throughout the entire process Autumn assured me, which was comforting as she had to redo a bad color job from another salon. Three for a trip to the salon. And that was three generations, one at nine years old one at 38 years old and one at 63 years old. I was so pleased and impressed with the manner in which Robert took care of my daughter and granddaughter, I have decided to bring my grandsons to him in the future. I had my appointment with Angie. She spent time with me discussing what I wanted, we looked at pictures and discussed what was realistically possible. I have a red base in my natural hair, and gray through out, so it is not just a simple matter to color my hair. Angie gave me a great cut and beautiful highlights. I went in as a walk in to have a bad hair cut fixed. I got right in and she fixed the cut my hair looks and feels phenomenal. I will definitely be returning.
