I've lived in the Warrington/Doylestown area for years and this Manhattan bagel has had several different owners, some good, some not so good. The current owners have given the place a refresh with new oven, fresh paint, new coffee and creamer machines and more. It's family owned and everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The bagels are always fresh and if they happen to get your order wrong, they will remedy it right away. They keep the place very clean, which I very much appreciate. There is ample seating inside and during nice weather, there are usually two, two seater tables outside. If you've tried this location in years past and had any issues, I would definitely recommend you consider coming back and giving it another try. read more

Been buying bagels here almost every week. As of the past few weeks, the bagels have been hard and dried out. I believe they are day-old bagels. The owner (or manager- not sure) said their oven is broke and the bagels are brought in from another location. Twice I have had to call and complain. Twice I've had to drive back over and bring the bagels back. Twice I've been told the oven is broken. Twice I've been told they came from another location. Twice I've been told they were not stale, they were fresh/ Fresh??? They were hard as a rock!! My knife broke while trying to cut it open! The inside was dry and crumbly- stale!!! For Pete's sake, GET YOUR OVEN FXED!!!! I'm from NYC, so I know what a bagel is supposed to taste like. I recently decided to come back and give it another try and I have to say, after coming back recently, the store had a whole new look with repainted walls, new owners, great service, and the bagels were hot and soft. I hadn't been here in awhile but my friend gave me a gift card so I went and picked food up for my mom. I will start by saying the women working here were super nice and kicked butt. They were busy on a week day late in the morning so with the few mishaps that occurred - I'm not complaining. The quality did lack a bit cause of them being busy - egg shells in breakfast sandwich and no creamer at the coffee station. Not big deals in any way shape or form but something worth mentioning. They brought my wife's sandwich but not mine and when i looked mine was sitting on the side. They never cooked my hash brown and tried to hand me a cold one. I made them cook me a new one. The service was very poor. The lady at the front was on her phone when we walked in and seemed bothered that we were even there in the first place (they don't close until 3 and it was 11 am so it's not like they were about to close). We asked about gluten free options for myself and that was fine, but when asking about the other options for my fiancée the worker had a tone and said "whatever is out is out." I asked for both bagels to be toasted and mine was plain gluten free with cream cheese. The spinach florentine bagel for my fiancée was not toasted and was put in the same bag as mine. Luckily I am just gluten intolerant and not a celiac so this isn't so much of an issue for myself but they should've been kept in separate bags. Even if you come here a lot they already know your order and that's a plus right there. This place is located right next to my workplace. I usually come here in the morning to order some food for breakfast. The atmosphere is always crowded in the morning so I recommend coming here earlier I ordered regular iced coffee and spinach bacon croissant. However they told me they were out of croissants so I ordered bagel instead. But still, the bagel was so warm and delicious. I am willing to go here again and try other menu. read more

The bagels here are much better than the ones at the Center Square location (not half-baked and doughy) and actually have a decent, flavorful shell (tried the everything and asiago). They are not true NY bagels but still pretty good. Plus, they also have more varieties here, including the asiago and honey whole wheat everything. Service is very friendly and the restaurant itself is well-lit, very clean, and has plenty of seating. They also accept LevelUp, which is very helpful if you are like me and hate having a bunch of credit cards and having to dig around your purse for your wallet everytime you want to buy something (call it lazy but I like to think of it as "process efficiency"). read more

I go here a lot, and have been coming here for a few years. It's always great. Excellent service and food. I often get a dozen bagels and cream cheese and sometimes bacon egg and cheese. My family loves it when I run out to get bagels for breakfast. I've been here for lunch too a few times and it was very good. Service has always been friendly and quick. Restaurant is clean. I don't know why I continue to choose this place as a lunch option? The food is very mediocre, and expensive!! Who wants to pay over $8.00 for a wrap and an extremely tiny container of coleslaw. Oh, and if you want a drink and chips it will cost you even more. And the service is even worse! Slow, slow, SLOW..... It seems like an employee is always being trained when I am in there. I worked at this specific location about 5 years ago and quit due to lack of management and cleanliness behind closed doors. I was told that brand new management has recently taken over this store and so I thought to myself, why not? Dramatically surprised! Ross has such a warm, friendly personality and it is always a pleasure to visit. I frequent this Manhattan Bagel because I sometimes work near by. I love lunch time and my current fave is chicken salad on a wrap :) I also used them today to cater a breakfast for 35 plus people, and everything was perfect. My wife and I today visited this particular Manhattan Bagel to enjoy coffee and bagels. My wifew remarked that there were few customers in the restaurant at that time, and the staff took exception. From that point forward, we were treated rudely. The staff repeatedly made comments to us from behind the counter. One member of the staff walked over to talk to us, and ended up again stating we were inconsiderate and rude. At no point were we treated respectfully, making the short time we spent there very unpleasant. We left, and do not plan on ever returning. Interestingly, our daughter afterward mentioned that she had a similar experience recently - she ordered her food, and asked the cashier if this was an independent restaurant or a member of a franchise - to which the cashier also apparetnly took exception. Her food deleiver was delayed, while the staff were looking at smart phones and conversing, paying her very little attention. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment. read more

Once this place was taken over by a man by the name of Ross and his father there has been a huge change. I love the service I constantly receive and everyone of the staff knows me and seems to genuinely care. I have made adjustments to my order and they have been very accommodating. I love the punch card at the front because I have been able to receive huge discounts. For me the food is good and the service is great. Service can really make a difference!
