This is a shame. this place should be ashamed serving such low quality and extremely decreased food porting and jacked up pricing. I bought 2 bacon egg and cheese sandwiches on a bagel. honestly the bagel size is 30% smaller than it use to be. it's a baby bagel. the quality is so poor I kept asking myself what am I actually eating? every bite was disappointing and I kept thinking why am I punishing myself eating this crap maybe because I paid $8 per sandwich. Basing my review on last 3 visits there in the past 2 yrs. Usually I frequent more, but not after the significant the downfall of quality. For the price of bacon egg cheese, they really have skimped down big time on all 3 ingredients. It's pathetic. Second the quality of bagel is more like a roll very dry and breadlike. Not good flavor either. They clearly changed the recipe. First time ever not finishing the "bagels." Very very disappointing. For 7 yrs this location was my go to place for chewy tasty bagels, not anymore. Did all MB's change quality or just this one new ownership??? I'm not sure how the words, "authentic" and "style" can be used in the same phrase to describe the legitimacy of anything produced far from the original source, as done by Manhattan Bagels. "Style" suggests it has a similarity to the original, but really isn't from the creative source; while, "authentic," is defined as being from the original hands. So, it really can't be both - except in the world of Madison Avenue false advertising. Please excuse the discourse on meaning, but the truth is that regardless of name and slogans, these are decent bagels. While not quite as crisp as I like on the outside, the texture is lightly chewy with a pleasant mild maltiness within, and without skimping on the toasted onion flakes or veggie cream cheese. I would like them even if from Manhattan, Kansas. Service was friendly and quick, and the House Blend coffee provided the requisite morning kick in the pants. This franchise is well represented in these parts, so while not on my list of absolute favorite bagel houses, it is certainly worth a stop when the breakfast bird is hunting for its early worm. This is the place for bagels! Every time I go here I get the "Everything Bagel." The sad thing is that they spelled the Manhattan Bagel logo wrong on the logo up above. So if you are looking for how to spell it then this is how you spell it: Manhattan Bagel. They have doggie bagels too. So make sure to bring one home one for your dog/dogs. The other breakfast was great too. They have all different cream cheese there too. So you can have a lot of choices. Manhattan Bagel is the BEST place too go for breakfast! read more

Woman working behind the counter couldn't have been more rude. I phoned in order went in to pick up and with no one else in line she ignored me for 5 Minutes. Finally some old guy who doesn't work there asked me if I was picking up and grabbed my order. The blonde B who was ignoring me then came over and without looking at me or saying hi she rang me up. She then walked away without saying thank you or asking me If I wanted a receipt. The old guy had to ask me. I will never ever go back. read more

Bravo! Great parking with a scenic creek meandering next to the building. Outside seating provides an absolutely lovely place to relax as you munch on a delicious Manhattan bagel with relaxing sounds of the nearby creek as background noise. The last time I visited his Manhattan bagel location was in early 2018 and WOW have things changed!! Upon entering the store I was immediately greeted by a beautiful young woman behind the counter. Her smile and courteous attitude came across as genuine which was utterly refreshing. I ordered an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a honey multigrain bagel and a large vanilla hazelnut coffee. Last time i was here, in 2018, the staff were rude, immature and seemed disinterested in customer service. THIS TIME was a complete 360 in every category: the counter/orderulsmall dining area was clean, the merchandise shelf and refridgerated cases well stocked. The staff couldnt have been more friendly, as they buzzed busily hard at work all things bagel while engaging customers in conversation. Kudos to whoever the new baker is: my bagel was incredible in taste texture and freshness! I'll be back again! Highly recommended for a quick breakfast bite as well as a lunchtime meal! read more

Since I have moved here I have gone to this location 5 times. Everytime they dont have something for my order. "We are out of plain bagels, no sausage, no sesame bagels" etc etc. Not once have I walked out with what I came there to get and almost every trip ends with me going to dunkin down the street. If they have the actual materials to make what you want the food is good. My advice, call ahead so you don't have to drive there to be disappointed. read more

This place must have a new baker or bakers because after a disappointing visit a year ago I decided to give it one more try. Boy was I amazed at the change in the food quality and the staff was amazingly friendly- sincerely nice- not just the stock robotic BS. The sandwich I ordered was delicious, kudos to the beard working the grill! The bagel was plump , perfectly shaped and a beautiful golden brown. I am going to place a catering order next month for a work party, and am planning another solo breakfast visit tmrw. read more
