When I went in there was just one girl working up front. She took my order which is a pretty consolidated menu - just a few good options of pizza, steaks and chicken cutlets and a few sides. I like that it isn't so giant. I knew I wanted to try the mozzerella sticks and I was debating between a cheesesteak and a cutlet sandwich. But also was toying with the idea of a meatball- specifically because I heard they had good sauce and I wasn't trying a pizza this trip. I went with the cheesesteak which on the menu boasts ribeye and a seeded roll. I ordered cooper sharp (usually I do American, this was the first time getting cooper sharp) and onions. Let me first say the steak was chopped perfectly the sandwich was heftyyy and it was loaded with cheese - all mixed in. Very good! Super tender meat. I will say that, personally, I'm used to getting a lighter cheese steak and adding sauce so this was definitely different for me but I can recognize how good it was. I did decided to order a side of meatballs to try - this was the only thing that didn't hit for me. They weren't bad but I would have liked more flavor. They were super tender though and I could tell they were homemade just as the menu says (hand rolled with a 200 year old family recipe) and the sauce - amazing! I topped that sauce on my steak and it was an elite combo for me as I, again personal preference, like to break up the cheese a bit. Overall the steak was really good and oh my gosh the mozzerella sticks- they were huge and the breading had such great flavor! Definitely a perfect pairing with their sauce. If I come back knowing how good the mozz breading is I definitely wanna try a chicken cutlet and pizza. The food came out super fast was super fresh. Definitely a good spot and I'm sure I'll be back!

I had skipped breakfast thinking I could power through till lunch time, but I was running on fumes and needed something nourishing fast!Fortunately Cerruti's was just opening up and I asked what they could prepare quickly, which they recommended a single American Classic burger (delicious btw). Sat down and waited for my order and the owner personally delivered my burger and added an extra patty no charge cause he was concerned that I needed a little more in my fuel tank. Talk about customer service! He didn't have to do that, but he did it cause he cared. So I have to ask ya, do you want to spend your hard earn money at McDonald's ordering from a faceless kiosk that spits out a manufactured menu that some suit made up? Or would you rather get a quality burger at a reasonable price from an actual human being that gives a damn of their customers? I'm sticking with Cerruti's.

They make me feel so welcome every time I go there. They have a huge dining room begging to be used for events and gatherings. Or even spacious enough for a big family meal together. Now the food. Easily one of the best cheesesteaks in the area. They are seasoned perfectly. But for me, I go for the cutlet sandwiches. Fresh made cutlets hit the spot. Don't forget they roast their own turkey and roast beef for the hoagies! Game changer! Cerruti's makes my top 3 local sandwich shops for sure!

Was in the mood for an Italian hoagie so I ordered one not expecting it to be the size it was- it was huge! I think it's meant to feed 2 people, I had to wrap up the other half for later. Ordered the mozzarella sticks, and chicken finger platter with fries with a side of cheese whiz. My daughter enjoyed the chicken fingers platter and we shared the fries and mozzarella sticks. The food tasted so good and to my surprise was still warm upon arriving to my front door. The price wasn't bad either, because there was $7 off orders over $35 on Doordash. I would definitely try this place again!

It came with crisp romaine, tomato, onion, red wine vinegar, EVOO, ricotta cheese, and delicious, tender meatballs. The mix of creamy and tangy flavors worked perfectly together, a great way to kick off the meal. When I asked our waitress for a recommendation, she mentioned that Café Carmela is known for their vodka sauce, my personal favorite, so I ordered the Drunken Rigatoni. It featured San Marzano tomato, cream, Stateside vodka, basil, and Grana Padano cheese. I also added a chicken cutlet on the side (because protein goals ). The dish was excellent, the flavor was spot on, though I personally would've liked the sauce just a bit creamier. Still, I'd absolutely order it again. Then came the star of the night: the Pumpkin Pizza. If you're a fan of seasonal specials, this is a must-try! It had arugula, ricotta, mozzarella, roasted garlic, sage, and roasted pumpkin, all beautifully balanced. The flavor was rich, cozy, and full of fall vibes. Next time, I'd just ask for the crust a little crispier (personal preference), but the pizza itself was amazing. The lunch sandwiches are served on a house made ciabatta style bread. Packed with fresh meats, cheeses and veggies. Every ingredient is perfectly seasoned and added delicately, not just items slapped on a roll. The Detroit pizza is what initially drew me in. While they have some options with more toppings, I'd say go for some of the more simple Detroit pies to really allow the famous crust to really shine through. No tables in the tiny shop, but a short wall shelf with four stools was all we needed. We each ordered a sandwich with variations of bacon, sausage and pork roll, egg and cheese on hard rolls. At $4.50 per, the price was right. Daughter took our order at the cashier post, while Mom worked the grill and dad brought in new inventory. All their Sammies were very good, with special mention to the rolls which were fresh and excellent. Choice of cheese helped, too. Liked them alot. If there was any shortfall, it was that the sausages seemed to be those precooked frozen jobs just reheated, rather than a fresh patty brought to life on hot steel. It would have been even better with the higher quality ingredient. Still, that is a minor nit in an otherwise high value morning meal. May they have another 30 years!
