Dole whip and ice cream for the win! Stopped in mid-afternoon looking specifically for Dole Whip. Kids, small and large sizes. One of us got the coconut macadamia nut ice cream which was glorious! Easy to find in the Koloa shopping center. read more

Mango's Shave Ice was delicious, but the real standout for all of us was the Dole Whip and mango whip. They were unbelievably good..honestly better than Disneyland. So creamy, refreshing, and packed with flavor. A must-stop if you're there! It's in a fun shopping center and cute inside. The girl working the counter was a bit dry and not friendly. read more

We tried 3 different places on the island for shave ice and this was by far the best!!

Unexpected surprise on a hot day. Lava Flow shave ice plus ice cream at the bottom was fantastic!

Way better than shave ice and twice as nice!!! Mango's has a beautiful selection of delicious ice creams made in Hawaii. I had a coconut macadamia nut ice cream and loved it! I've never had any ice cream this flavor...it was chock full of chopped mac nuts. Yummy good! They also have Dole whips in four flavors including pineapple and mango. They will allow you to swirl two flavors or stack them one on top of the other at no extra charge. The portions are substantial. The best thing about this place was the sweet kindness of both employees. Steve was absolutely THE BEST! The son of a Vietnam-era Navy corpsman and he knows how to treat veterans well. Please say "Semper Fi" to your dad on behalf of all grateful US Marines. We look forward to returning. read more

Mango's - Pineapple Raspberry Dole Whip-Large - Shaved Ice Near Me - Koloa, Hawaii

This place smelled so good walking in. Probably because of the fresher cookies baking in the oven. We opted for the dole whip in original pineapple and mango flavors. Super refreshing and satisfying. Customer service was friendly. A keeper! read more

The sizes turned out to be noticeably larger than those shown on the models, which is probably advantageous though it's worth noting for anyone expecting a closer match to the visual representation. read more

First time trying Hawaiian shaved ice. Choice of two flavors, chose sunshine (mango, passionfruit and coconut flavor) and strawberry as recommended by staff behind counter. No toppings, became too artificially tasting when started to melt. read more

yum! Good dole whip! super tasty creamy and refreshing, probably better than Disneyland's (and one would hope so). they also sell ice creams and baked goods read more

I've been here several times with family and friends and here is what I have to say. The atmosphere is fun, vibrant, and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu had a great variety of options, but the best item so far was the dole whip. The dole whip at Mango's is hands down the best I've ever had. It was so creamy and delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. I couldn't get enough of it. They even do swirls of different flavors, mango and pineapple is IT. While the ice cream at Mango's was also quite good, I have to say that the shave ice fell a bit short for me. The flavors tasted a bit too artificial for my liking, and I didn't find it as refreshing as I had hoped. However, with the amazing dole whip as an option, I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. They have indoor and outdoor seating and many cute little gifts/souvenirs in the shop. read more

The customer service is AWESOME! The ice cream phenomenal! Wish there was one in SoCal!

Great service and good food at Mango's in Historic Koloa Town. The cafe and the plaza itself opened recently. There are different menu items such as smoothies, shave ice, dole whip, and other cookies and pastries. You will also find other gifts and souvenirs while you are inside. read more

The young girl ringing you up was really kind but the grumpy gut that actually was serving was a real jerk!! He acted pissed off and was so unfriendly!! He shouldn't be interacting with the public with his attitude! read more

This place is literally so good. I got the pineapple dole whip which is literally my literal favorite and it was literally smooth, cold, and creamy. The workers are literally so friendly and literally they also warmed up my snickerdoodle cookie. Also this place literally smelled like fresh waffle cones and it was literally delightful. read more

We tried all the top rated shave ice places on the island, and this was by far our favorite on the south side. Good size, long list of flavors and one of the more tasty snow caps read more

The shop smells amazing. They make waffle cones in house and it smells so delicious in there. We keep returning for Dole Whips. I know they have lots of other options, but the pineapple Dole Whip is perfection. Staff is courteous and efficient. read more

Good, but a pricey for what it is. They have a wide option of ice cream flavors to put in the bottom.

We visited Mango's with our 9 year old grandson who loves his shave ice! He is visiting as many shave ice shops as possible and giving rating them on Service, Options, Ice Qualities and Flavors. He gave Mango's a rating! Brandon was so friendly and had quick service. Options and flavor choices were top notch and the ice was soft as powdered snow! read more

The area that is building up around this shop is really cool and i cannot wait until next visit to see how it advances. I dont have a ton to say about this place, we were looking for some dole whip. Stopped by, learned there are other flavors of dole whip. Grabbed classic pineapple. Split it and left happy. I would visit again, actually if it wasnt for all the shaved Ice I am pretty sure we would have. read more

Absolutely delicious, uniquely Hawaiian flavored ice cream! A single scoop was way more than I was expecting, so it was a pleasant surprise. I'd definitely go back for the Ice cream and will recommend it to others! Other family members ordered shave ice and were not overly impressed, especially for the price - it was just that, shave ice and flavoring, which we can get on the mainland- when in Hawaii you'd expect authentic Hawaiian shave ice with toppings and other additions. So, I'd say it's a really great place for Icecream, but find somewhere else for shave ice if you want a special shave ice experience. read more

I give this a 3.5 (rounded up to 4 for this review). I had a keiki shave ice with ice cream. They offer a 10% discount for a Yelp! check in. Both of the workers weren't that familiar with how it worked but the more seasoned of the two figured it out. Taste-wise I rate it a 3, I've had better. The shave ice wasn't super fine which, IMO, separates great from decent. The place was immaculate and the servers were friendly. read more

I had the Dole Whipped small cone for a little over $6, the flavor was great as expected. The gentleman was miserable behind the counter. I feel sorry for him that he had to work there, I do hope he doesn't own the place. read more

Should be more popular, surprised there aren't many reviews. Great ice cream selection, and shaved ice is as you would picture it for Hawaii. Plus 99 cent giant cookies, a nice seating area, cool toys/Knick knacks, and very nice staff. Highly recommend after a stop at the beach. read more

OMG! I love this place. This is where I discovered Dole Whip fruit dessert. That stuff is crazy good. They also have shave ice and ice cream, but the Dole Whip is my new favorite. The staff is also friendly and helpful. I'm going back! Highly recommended. read more

Lots of great treats; something for everyone. We had pineapple ice cream and a couple of their giant cookies.Super friendly staff!

Fabulous find just off the main drag in Koloa. All kinds of ice cream, shave ice, and dairy-free Dole whip in multiple flavors. Exceptionally clean and air conditioned with inside seating. Fun fact -- Mango's is named after a dog. Not our dog, but my dog Mango would approve! read more

Great Shave Ice... Great Cookies! Only $.99... Great Souvenirs! Dole Whip is amazing, featuring Pineapple, Mango, Raspberry and Cherry!!!

I didn't realize how hard it would be to find real Acai and real pineapple dole whip on the island, but this place has both! I tried two other Acai places before this and was so disappointed with theirs, but this place has the REAL stuff! The only way to know it's legit is if it comes out of a giant ice cream tub by the scoop. They had macadamia nut butter and a macadamia granola and the bowl was soooo delicious. I also tried the dole whip and it was perfection. As someone who lives in California, I can say it's just as good as the dole whip in Disneyland (if you know, you know). I wish I could've come back many times to try the ice cream. read more

Went on a hot, slow Sunday afternoon. Store was great, food was good...two people working one pleasant gal and a guy. After leaving the store, my wife and I looked at each other saying "that has to be the most rude person we met recently". Nothing overt, he was just dripping with an attitude that seemingly the last place in the world he wanted to be was in that store...and the annoyance of our entrance and related interruption of his discussion with the pleasant gal only seemed to make it worse for him. Funny to us; but want to see new businesses succeed. So as a kind 'heads up' to the manager, that you may care to watch this. If that was the manager? Well then good luck. read more
