I've been here several times with family and friends and here is what I have to say. The atmosphere is fun, vibrant, and inviting, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu had a great variety of options, but the best item so far was the dole whip. The dole whip at Mango's is hands down the best I've ever had. It was so creamy and delicious, with the perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. I couldn't get enough of it. They even do swirls of different flavors, mango and pineapple is IT. While the ice cream at Mango's was also quite good, I have to say that the shave ice fell a bit short for me. The flavors tasted a bit too artificial for my liking, and I didn't find it as refreshing as I had hoped. However, with the amazing dole whip as an option, I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. They have indoor and outdoor seating and many cute little gifts/souvenirs in the shop. read more

Great service and good food at Mango's in Historic Koloa Town. The cafe and the plaza itself opened recently. There are different menu items such as smoothies, shave ice, dole whip, and other cookies and pastries. You will also find other gifts and souvenirs while you are inside. read more

This place is literally so good. I got the pineapple dole whip which is literally my literal favorite and it was literally smooth, cold, and creamy. The workers are literally so friendly and literally they also warmed up my snickerdoodle cookie. Also this place literally smelled like fresh waffle cones and it was literally delightful. read more

We visited Mango's with our 9 year old grandson who loves his shave ice! He is visiting as many shave ice shops as possible and giving rating them on Service, Options, Ice Qualities and Flavors. He gave Mango's a rating! Brandon was so friendly and had quick service. Options and flavor choices were top notch and the ice was soft as powdered snow! read more

The area that is building up around this shop is really cool and i cannot wait until next visit to see how it advances. I dont have a ton to say about this place, we were looking for some dole whip. Stopped by, learned there are other flavors of dole whip. Grabbed classic pineapple. Split it and left happy. Absolutely delicious, uniquely Hawaiian flavored ice cream! A single scoop was way more than I was expecting, so it was a pleasant surprise. I'd definitely go back for the Ice cream and will recommend it to others! Other family members ordered shave ice and were not overly impressed, especially for the price - it was just that, shave ice and flavoring, which we can get on the mainland- when in Hawaii you'd expect authentic Hawaiian shave ice with toppings and other additions. So, I'd say it's a really great place for Icecream, but find somewhere else for shave ice if you want a special shave ice experience. read more

I give this a 3.5 (rounded up to 4 for this review). I had a keiki shave ice with ice cream. They offer a 10% discount for a Yelp! check in. Both of the workers weren't that familiar with how it worked but the more seasoned of the two figured it out. Taste-wise I rate it a 3, I've had better. The shave ice wasn't super fine which, IMO, separates great from decent. The place was immaculate and the servers were friendly. read more

Should be more popular, surprised there aren't many reviews. Great ice cream selection, and shaved ice is as you would picture it for Hawaii. Plus 99 cent giant cookies, a nice seating area, cool toys/Knick knacks, and very nice staff. Highly recommend after a stop at the beach. read more

I didn't realize how hard it would be to find real Acai and real pineapple dole whip on the island, but this place has both! I tried two other Acai places before this and was so disappointed with theirs, but this place has the REAL stuff! The only way to know it's legit is if it comes out of a giant ice cream tub by the scoop. They had macadamia nut butter and a macadamia granola and the bowl was soooo delicious. I also tried the dole whip and it was perfection. As someone who lives in California, I can say it's just as good as the dole whip in Disneyland (if you know, you know). I wish I could've come back many times to try the ice cream. read more

Went on a hot, slow Sunday afternoon. Store was great, food was good...two people working one pleasant gal and a guy. After leaving the store, my wife and I looked at each other saying "that has to be the most rude person we met recently". Nothing overt, he was just dripping with an attitude that seemingly the last place in the world he wanted to be was in that store...and the annoyance of our entrance and related interruption of his discussion with the pleasant gal only seemed to make it worse for him. We would have paid more if they had explained the room properly, as we were very specific and we would have upgraded. We relied on the Hotel's reservation desk to direct us. They made a huge mistake which effected our trip. All in all, the grounds were beautiful and the service was excellent. We spent alot of money and we were determined to make this a memorable occasion. We were very disappointed.

I also tipped 20% because I truly believe in taking care of people who work in the service industry. We also tried the katsu musubi and the fried musubi, and all three dishes were absolutely delicious. We've visited both locations, and while the food was excellent at each, the Poʻipū location lacked the warm, welcoming spirit you'd hope to experience while visiting Kauaʻi. That said, much aloha to Kauaʻi. We had a wonderful trip and can't wait to come back.

The color also wasn't the correct shade of green for good quality matcha, but I'm someone who likes to make my matcha at home and rarely find ones at coffee shops that I actually like, so take my review with that in mind, if you're a casual matcha drinking then you would like their version. It doesn't dry your tongue out or have a bitter taste. The following day I decided to try their coffee and ordered a hot vanilla oat milk latte. It was just okay, the espresso is a little more on the acidic side and I couldn't taste any vanilla flavor. Definitely not the worst latte I've had in Hawaii, but for the cost of lattes nowadays, I wouldn't come back to try more of their menu until I try other local coffee shops first. THIS was the closest thing to home for me. The ice was actually soft and fluffy like real shave ice should be, and the flavors tasted nostalgic in the best way. One bite immediately transported me back to hanabada days. Also, after I rolled up in muddy-ass clothes, sis working there took one look at me and hit me with the kamaʻāina discount without hesitation . That honestly healed something in me. No questions asked. At that point I knew the shave ice was gonna be good because locals can sense when someone grew up eating shave ice instead of "shaved ice." 10/10. Bumbai I come again.

Food came out pretty quickly (as I had called for the shuttle to take me back to the hotel). They packaged the bowl in a nice to-go container and loaded with LOTS of fish! Everything was fresh and delicious. Great spot to pick up some poke while in town!

There's also a vanilla cold cream cap on top of the shave ice. The place is family run with parents and their kids serving you with nothing but genuine West Side aloha. Ignore the reviews on other sites that say it's "lightly flavored water." This place is great.
