1/2 Peruvian Chicken
Natassja A.

A cozy Peruvian restaurant nestled in Mount Laurel, NJ. The workers there were friendly & helpful with any questions you have. Everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Portions are plenty - you will walk away feeling very full and still have food leftover to take home. Their tres leches was very good & not too sweet! Only thing I was disappointed with was the flan, it had more of a gelatin consistency than a custard consistency. Would love to return to try more dishes, they have so many options on their menu.

We just stopped by for dinner and it was great! The people who work working there tonight were so nice and helpful. I LOVED their ceviche- the flavors were great. The curry was good but I really liked their Peruvian chicken and the tallarin saltado mix! It's a great spot, so many options on the menu. Highly recommend!

Papa Ranella (Mashed Potato stuffed with ground beef, bean and egg, then rolled and baked)

A good friend of mine and fellow Yelper, suggested this restaurant. (Homerun!) I brought my wife along to try it out. It's a small, but clean and inviting restaurant. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you have any questions, about any menu items, feel free to ask, you will get helpful tips. The dining area isn't big, but the tables are spaced far enough apart, that you dont feel packed in like sardines while dining. My wife and I both had Papa Rellenas as our appetizers. It's not a stuffed baked potato, but mashed potatoes rolled and stuffed with ground beef, beans and egg. and baked. Very tasty dish! My wife had the Arroz con Pollo. I had the Lomo Soltado with Spanish Rice and two Chica Moradas drinks. You can get tea and smoothies also. When you come in you get your menu, from the register area, place your order, pay (Apple Pay, cash or credit/debit) and have a seat. Your prepared food will be brought to your table. (There isn't a waiter/waitress that takes your order.) If you use credit/debit, there is a minimum $10 charge.

The food here is so good that I came here 2 days in a row. Perfect seasoning and portion sizes. It was very busy when I went there, I ordered take out along with most of the customers and we all waited patiently. The staff didn't get flustered but instead remained friendly and accommodating. I love this place and I definitely recommend you giving them your business. Yummy

Stumbled across this little whole in the wall spot, I would have never noticed if it wasn't for Wawa being few stores down. Nice to see cultural food in an area as mount laurel. I have now eaten here quite a few times now. Customer service is decent, food is good and the smoothies are as well. The tostones are decent, just wished it was smashed more thinly and crispy and had garlic. The plantains are great with any meal like the half chicken I had purchase. Don't forget the sauce they have to offer. It's a light green color it's taste great on the chicken and rice. For an extra cup of the sauce it's about a dollar maybe. Small cozy place seats about 20 people max. Great for lunch or dinner with friends and family. This place would be at HIT if they had BYOB!

Mango's Café is located in yet another South Jersey strip mall in Lumberton, near Mt. Holly. The space it self is very bright and clean. There is a good amount of seating, probably for 23-30 patrons. Mango's Café has a pretty large menu on illuminated signs above the counter. One orders from the very pleasant staff and they bring the food to your table when ready. My party of three ordered a few dishes. To start with, we had the plantains and yucca fries. The plantains were excellent, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The yucca fries were good also and came with a good dipping (Aji Pollero) sauce. I ordered the Pollo a la Brasa. This was cooked very well and was moist. I liked the seasoning also on the chicken. The Arroz Chaufa, which was like Latin/Asian fried rice, was also good. The Lomo Saltado, which was a stir-fried beef, was just OK for me. It wasn't bad at all but it didn't have the flavors I was expecting, maybe a bit on the bland side. Mango's Café had a pretty good Tres Leches, not as good as Tierra Colombiana in Philadellphia, but still pretty good. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The prices were reasonable and the food came out fairly fast. I would definitely recommend Mango's Café if in the Mt. Holly area. They don't serve wine or beer but a Liquor store is right next door! 3.5 Yelp stars

I am sooo stuffed writing this!…read more We wanted to try Peruvian and I found this place on here! Housed in the Berlin Farmer's Market - I was shocked! I had a fried rice dish that was excellent! The kids had empanadas, potato balls and steak tacos. ALL YUMMY! We also had a Jaritos and Horchata. So tasty! Everything was cooked fresh, excellent and huge portions- like OMG so! $51 for everything! CASH ONLY!

***** I stop at the Berlin Famers Market regularly and today I discovered a Peruvian restaurant at the far end of the building, Rodriguez Peruvian Restaurant. A big, inviting and spotlessly clean counter with seats and menus. The menus have a lot of classic Peruvian dishes like ceviche, lomo saltado, salchipapa, anticuchos, arroz chaufa, wings, tacos, pernil...lots of delicious choices! I ordered the eloté, papa relleno, 3 beef and 3 chicken empanadas, the lomo saltado and the tallarin saltado as well as a horchata which was superb - and huge! The eloté, I could have easily eaten 6! Sooo yummy! The papa relleno was perfectly cooked and had a tasty beef and cheese filling. The empanadas were flavorful and both the lomo saltado and the tallarin saltado were delicious. Everything was perfectly cooked and none of the fried items were greasy at all - wonderful! The portions are large, the prices very reasonable and the service was pleasant, fast and efficient. I will definitely be back and I recommend it highly to everyone to give it a try. As an added bonus, I was able to use my Spanish to order and she said I did good!

You can tell Daniel (the owner) actually cares about how everything runs. The place is clean, organized, and everything flows smoothly without feeling rushed. And Christina... she's seriously the best. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and actually helps guide you through the menu. She was on point with the specials and made great recommendations. We even got into a conversation about her trip to Peru, which was a really cool touch it felt natural, not forced, and made the whole experience better. We started with the Leche de Tigre, and it was a perfect opener, fresh, citrusy, and packed with flavor. You get that brightness from the lime with just the right kick, plus the calamari added a nice texture. We also tried one of the specials, the causa, which was light but still full of flavor and a great way to start. For the mains, we went all in. The Cowboy Steak (18 oz bone-in ribeye) was easily the highlight, cooked right, super flavorful, and paired with the huancaína risotto and that huacatay butter... yeah, that combo is no joke. We also had the pollo a la brasa (special, marinated 24 hours), and you can tell it was super juicy, well-seasoned, and done right. We also had the pasta con mariscos, and this one deserves its own mention. Homemade pasta with shrimp, calamari, and mussels in a chupe-style tomato broth rich, flavorful, and comforting without feeling too heavy. Definitely one of those dishes you keep going back to. And I'm not even exaggerating... the table bread with the butter? We were eating like it was part of the main course. That butter is ridiculously good. Dessert sealed it. The lava cake with lucuma ice cream was warm, rich, and balanced out perfectly by the ice cream. We also tried the house-made guanábana sorbet, which was light, refreshing, and the perfect way to finish after a heavy meal. The vibe is what really ties it all together. It's casual enough to hang out with friends and talk, but still nice enough for a date night or bringing family. It doesn't try too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Overall, everything just clicked: food, service, atmosphere. No weak spots. Definitely coming back. This version is clean, structured, and reads like someone who actually understands what they're talking about, not just listing food.

We generally stick to the rotisserie chicken and it's always flavorful, moist, and well cooked. The only downer for us are the sauces -- a lot of the more authentic sauces seem to be mayo heavy and doesn't hit the same mark as say a sauce from Nando's Peri Peri. But still, Sardi's incredible and we're glad to have them in the area. What you didn't come here for: - Water: There is water at a self-serve soda machine and the water is clean. - Restrooms: There are single occupancy Men & Women's restrooms. - Accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair accessible - Seating: There is plenty of seating throughout - Will it fill you up? Absolutely enough for one meal - Dietary Notes: If you are vegetarian, you might struggle to find options. There isn't a true vegetarian entree option besides a salad. It'd be nice if they offered a multiple sides platter but oh well.
