I ordered lentil soup, fattoush salad and a chicken chops entree which came with rice, bulgur and a side salad. We started out with complementary Turkish bread and olives in olive oil. These olives were so good that I had to ask the owner where they came from. He said the olives came from Palestine and the equally good oil came from Turkey. My wife's salad made her very happy. I tried her chicken kebab and it was nicely charred and seasoned chicken breast cubes that weren't dry at all. My lentil soup was thick, creamy and very well spiced with cumin and other middle eastern spices. Fattoush salad had their special house dressing on it which brought out the ultra freshness of the salad ingredients. Chicken chops were thighs that were juicy, so flavorful and expertly charred like the chicken kebab. This place is 8 minutes from our house so it's definitely worth a re-visit. It would be worth it if it were further away as well.

A 20% tip is automatically applied to your bill, and then still asked if you want to tip ON TOP OF THE FACT so pay attention to your bill! Part of me thinks the reason the service isn't as good is because they know they're automatically getting that tip, but another part of me hopes that isn't the case. I'm honestly not sure what was more impressive to me; the soups or the sandwiches. I guess I'll start with their namesake, the soup. First time I came here I tried the French onion, since what better 'simple' soup to judge a soup place by, right? Excellent, right out of the gate - utterly bursting with caramelized onion flavor, and just a hint of brandy, I believe? I later came back and tried the Thai coconut and "thanksgiving dinner" soups, with each one seriously cramming a ton of flavor into each bite. Never thought I'd be blown away by soup, of all things, but here we are. The sandwiches are just as good as the soups were, and are priced really fairly for the quality and portion you get. Most of their sandwiches are made on their homemade "pesto bread", which may be the moistest, softest bread I've had in years. If you can't decide, they seem to run specials frequently, where you can get a sandwich & cup of soup. The only 'negative' I can think of is that since sandwiches are made to order, it can take ~10-15 mins to get sandwiches and the like, but this isn't a McDonalds, so I feel like that's expected. Besides, your patience is greatly rewarded. Skip the chain food; there's some really inspired, friendly folks here cranking out some of the best stuff in town. Well worth a visit, imo!

It was light and not too overpowering, you get a lot of fresh salmon. Honestly was a great improvement from the last time. Additionally, service was better this time around. Our bartender was very attentive and had us in and out of the restaurant within an hour.
