Green Curry & Duck Noodles

First time here and we will be back! Delicious and great staff! Food is fresh, authentic and has a great level of spice.

I went with my friends on Wednesday night and we ordered the combo sets which is the new menu. The combos set are so authentic and delicious especially the fried eggs make me memories that I had street food when I'm traveled in Thailand last years. Thank you to everyone who work in the Siam Smiles, you all are awesome!

Solid four stars! Went there for lunch, the owners are so friendly making sure you have anything you need. I ordered the chicken with red curry, it was really delicious. They gave me spring roll on the side accompanied by rice and I enjoyed every bit of it, I will definitely be back.

Our first visit to Siam Smiles was this evening. I'm so glad we had dinner here. It's such a cute place! Has a nice vibe for a lunch, dinner or date night. The service was also great. Seems to be a family business and we had a nice conversation with the owner as well. He came out to greet us and ask if we enjoyed our visit. Absolutely!!! We had unsweetened ice tea, duck buns, shrimp roll, crispy chicken pad Thai and pad khing. All highly recommended!!! Don't wait stop by this local spot! The owner we spoke with has been with the business for 1 year. When we went for an early Sunday dinner each and every table was filled with happy customers before we left. Also the take out was moving from that kitchen! Everything we had was hot, fresh and tasty.

Siam Smiles can easily be missed as it is a small restaurant in a small shopping center. The location does not seem to stop them because they get countless online orders and have plenty of waves of dine in patrons. The food is good and enjoyed everything I ate. The vegetable spring rolls were good and the best ones I've had compared to other Thai places in the area. I also tried a papaya salad for the first time and I enjoyed it. I also tried the drunken noodles and pad thai. Both were good but the mild spice has a tiny kick to eat which at times distracted from the culinary experience. I will be coming back.

Really good Thai food. I came here on a Sunday and it was very quiet. It's important to note that they close for lunch around 1:30. The food tends to be on the spicier side so I think it's best to play it safe and order mild and then ask for extra spice on the side. The service was great.

THAI ICE TEA DELICIOUS!!!!

Chicken and Corn soup: Warm, and it hits the middle point of clean and hearty. I was scared that it was gonna be tasteless, but I got enough chicken and corn to not feel that way. Pork Chop: This is another Chinese restaurant staple. 85% of the chinese porkchops that you eat will taste the same. This one is no different. Tofu with Salted Fish: It was fine. The tofu did a good job defusing the saltiness of the fish, and the dish was generally well balanced. Objectively, this is probably one of their better dishes. I just feel that it didn't have the pop that I was looking for. Hot prawn salad with broccoli: The broccoli was just boiled. Nothing to talk about. The pawn was fried and bathed in mayonnaise. We were quickly and warmly greeted by the young woman working behind the desk. She was finishing up an order and then took ours. I always stick to my tried and true favorite of Thai milk tea with boba. I would give my Thai tea a 4/5- it was tasty, but lacked a bit of the stronger/earthy flavors other Thai teas have. My husband got the pineapple tea. He forgot to request boba, so his was just the drink without the bubbles. I liked the stronger flavor of his tea more than mine. The cups were adorable, with cat shaped covers and ears popping up. If you are heading down the shore and are in the mood for a bubble tea, this is a good option. They also offer tangulu (fruit dipped in crunchy, clear sugar coating). We did not try it this time, but I will definitely be back to give it a taste. Very unique menu item that isn't found in many others places!

The only thing that really upset me, was that when I asked her to please raise the heat (it was very cold in the restaurant), she didn't. I left the waitress a $20 tip upon the insistance of my boyfriend. I was very disappointed that she didn't raise the heat. After all it was a raw, rainy day today. The kind of cold that seeps into you bones. I will go back there but will take the food home. I won't dine in until the weather gets hot.

Nemo Asian Fusion & Sushi Bar

The bar honestly wasn't high, but this was probably the best dining experience I've had in Keyport,…read moreor close to it. I came here this past Saturday for an early dinner with the Millennial Chum and Co. I've driven or walked by this place a bunch of times, and I've always liked the exterior - it reminds me of an NYC Irish bar, if that makes sense. Not what I'd expect from a sushi establishment. I will say as a caveat that it IS smaller inside than I expected; it's basically one narrow corridor, so as a result it doesn't really have an opportunity to flex its interior design muscles too much. Not really a negative per se, and not something I think they can really do much about unless they move somewhere else with more square footage to play around with. I was a little apprehensive when I looked at the menu and saw they were boasting multiple Asian genres, including the aforementioned sushi but also some Thai, Chinese and Korean. (No, I didn't realize it was Asian fusion, which would have immediately explained this.) In my experience, having TOO varied of a menu can blow up in a restaurant's face, but regardless I came to try the sushi and went right to the special rolls. I opted for the Lover Roll and the Volcano Roll. The Volcano was okay for the most part - this was on me, but I didn't realize it had jalapeno in it, which is clearly referenced in the menu. I don't mind it from a taste perspective, but I hate the crunchy texture in a sushi roll (same with cucumber, which is a sushi dealbreaker for me). It was very easy to remove, and otherwise a perfectly fine roll. I think presentation value-wise it could use something since it basically looks like a pile of sawdust with the lobster salad on top, but it didn't diminish the taste. The Lover is excellent, and I wasn't too surprised to catch multiple sightings of it on other plates as we were walking out. The optics on that one were very unique, a bifurcated heart shape with a heavy dose of predictable pinks and reds. I hadn't really thought about it until now, but my sushi taste tends to go pretty savory with an emphasis on spicy tunas and wasabi mayo, that kind of thing. This is definitely on the sweeter side, which I'm assuming is primarily because of the honey. Regardless, it pairs really well with the rest of the ingredients. One of the better new sushi rolls I've tried recently, and it doesn't seem like I'm in the minority on that one. The service was very good; the Millennial Chum has been here before and said she'd had some issues on prior visits. Thankfully not a problem on this particular adventure - everyone had plans later in the evening and we were able to get in and out of here pretty quickly, probably within 40, 45 minutes or so. The price point wasn't bad either. Admittedly I'm used to being gauged on the regular in Midtown Manhattan, but special rolls being around $15 are a treat in and of itself. I'm not going to say that this is mouth-droppingly amazing sushi, but I think you have to grade on a slight curve in this area - Monmouth is pretty much a barren wasteland when it comes to its gastro offerings so when you find something decent, it's worth noting. Nemo is worth noting.

Still the absolute best. I love that you can get sushi and a variety of so many wonderful dinners…read more In the summer there are fabulous views sitting on the deck looking at the water.
