The Mrs. and I decided we ought to give Thai food a try. We've never had it, and it was about time we changed that. I did some research into Thai spots near us, and Siam Smiles came highly recommended. To start, restaurant wasn't crowded. It was pretty sparsely filled when we got there around 6:30, and filled up throughout our meal but was never crowded. It looked like most of their patrons prefer takeout. As a side note, my wife loved the ambiance and interior design of the place. Next, the service was nice. The gentleman who helped us for most of the night was pleasant and helpful. He wasn't right on top of us but the restaurant was small enough that if we needed anything we were able to grab his attention. Very nice guy. We started our meal with the duck buns. I liked them, but I would probably skip them next time and go with a different appetizer. Personally, I felt they were a bit lacking in the flavor category. Would likely have benefited from more sauce. When it came to choosing our entrees, I opted for the pad thai with shrimp. My wife went with the pad see ew with beef. Both were delicious. Our server also gave us 2 small containers, one had a powder and one a sauce, both of which were intended to add spice to our meals. Personally, my spice tolerance is pretty low so I went with the mild. My wife was gonna go for the medium option, but went with mild after our server warned her that their medium is spicier than we may expect. That warning was very much appreciated, as my wife felt that any spicier than her meal ended up being would have been too much for her. The meals were delicious and the portions generous. Funny enough, I ended up liking my wife's more than my own, and she liked my dish more than her own. All in all, a great date night and a delicious introduction to Thai food. Absolute favorite Thai spot. The food is always incredible and I'm literally satisfied every single time I order from here. It's hands down my favorite takeout place. Their Tom Kha is outstanding, and everything is so well seasoned with flavors that always come through perfectly. We tried the Pad Kratiem Prik Tai for the first time and now it's officially a must-order every time. The garlic sauce is unbelievably good. Siam smiles is a local popular Thai restaurant in the Neighbourhood area. They are very fast and friendly. They have all of the classics that you could ask for in Thai food. And the menu comes in a little pre-designed book that they have. I ordered the pad thai, pad see ew and Thai tea. If you're not as familiar with Thai food, I highly recommend you can try these as starter dishes. Every Thai restaurant has these as staples. Each dish comes with the option of type of protein or vegetables. They offer chicken, pork, beef and tofu. You can also change the level of spiciness from no spice to mild to spicy. The pad thai was a noodle dish with peanuts on top for crunch and texture as well as a savory sauce. The pad see ew came with thicker and longer rice noodles, and a similar sauce to the pad thai with your stirred in protein. I highly recommend you should try the Thai tea as well. I think that it is just a tasty drink for any meal. Everything was very good and pretty standard. Pricing was also pretty affordable. The interior of the restaurant can seat around 30 people. There are tables adjacent to both sides of the wall of the restaurant - In four seaters. The parking lot is right outside with easy parking in the front and back of the restaurant. We went on a whim to try it out bc we live nearby. The restaurant was super casual and is located in a little strip mall. But the food was really delicious. I got Ke Moa & it was awesome. The service is welcoming and they are really nice people who own this restaurant. Very fresh and the portion sizes are good. They respect and accommodate spice levels as requested and if you like Spicy Heat, ask for the Thai Hot! Price points are friendly and well worth it. The Summer Rolls are an all star starter as well as the Roti with Curry and the Puffs which are like an empanada/samosa hybrid. Siam Smiles can easily be missed as it is a small restaurant in a small shopping center. The location does not seem to stop them because they get countless online orders and have plenty of waves of dine in patrons. The food is good and enjoyed everything I ate. The vegetable spring rolls were good and the best ones I've had compared to other Thai places in the area. I also tried a papaya salad for the first time and I enjoyed it. I also tried the drunken noodles and pad thai. Both were good but the mild spice has a tiny kick to eat which at times distracted from the culinary experience. I will be coming back. read more

I wouldn't recommend based on a bad experience I had. Server was incredibly rude when I walked in. I walked over to the back to pick up an order. The guy behind the counter said it's not ready and essentially said checking on the order was not important and told me to wait while he went to go do something else. I've never been disappointed by any of their meals. Staff is very nice, ambiance is cozy without being overwhelming. There are a lot of authentic Thai dishes here that you wouldn't see at many other restaurants and all of them have been excellent. It's a place I like to go to with friends/family as a treat. The ambiance and service keeps me from experiencing a dine in experience. I picked up delivery for Door Dash, probably the way to go. There was an overwhelming odor that was unpleasant in the restaurant. The bathroom was clean and smelled much better. I felt unwelcome by employees who although told me to wait for the pick up, there was not anywhere to wait-- they should add some seats perhaps for persons waiting for pick up or move their host station towards the entrance.
