    Bistec encebollado
    Hector S.

I ordered from one of the many food delivery services so I do not know how it is inside. Although the outside looks small in pictures and the restaurant located on 36. I had the bistec encebollado which was excellent with arroz con gandules. The arroz con gandules were also delicious and the bistec encebollado sauce integrated with the rice to make a flavor explosion. The yuca was good although I have never been a big fan of the yuca mojo. The order of tostones was like an entire plantain which was awesome. Although the plate didn't look to appealing because it was all topped on top of each other and moved around during transit, it still tasted phenomenal overall! However, donde esta el mofongo? Either way I will be eating from this establishment again and excited to try their habichuelas!

Mofongo with Pernil, served with a side salad

Just had an excellent meal. I dined in and they have a few tables with good music playing. I ordered the mofongo with pernil that took a few minutes to come out. Amazing food with great flavor, everyone was so nice and the prices were incredibly fair! I will definitely be back and highly recommend Brinia's Sazon!!

El mofongo de pernil aka pork mofongo was EXACTLY what I was looking for! The plantains were flavorful and the shredded pork was juicy and tender. Make sure you add the garlic butter sauce for even more flavor. We also had the homemade chicken soup, pastelon and tres leche cake for dessert. EVERYTHING was delicious!!

It doesn't feel crowded. I've been to El Viejo Fred twice and both times did not disappoint. The first time I accompanied my Dominican friend who ordered for me. The second time I was on my own, but the ladies were very helpful and we made it happen. Most of the food is behind the counter in a covered buffet-style setup. You let them know what you are interested in, beef, chicken etc, and they'll show you the offerings. You can't beat their lunch special at around $12-15. You get a giant portion of rice & meat, add on a bit of salad and you're good to go! The food is so delicious, the flavors are all there. I also had the chicken and cheese empanadas as well as beef and both tasted great, I liked the beef best it was very well seasoned. Another bonus? Tamarind juice!! Not many places have it so I'm always ecstatic when I see it on a menu. Both my friend and I really enjoyed the food we purchased from El Viejo Fred, and the friendly service we received, we will definitely be back!

Hands down some of the best gyatdamn Spanish food I've had in a minute. My girlfriend wanted to put…read moreme on to this spot in Punta Cana, and I'm glad she did. It's an all-you-can-eat buffet style setup and for $13.50 you're getting a plate that's absolutely stacked. I went in and loaded up on mac & cheese, pernil, chicharrones, chicken, and sweet onions and every single bite hit. The pernil was juicy, the chicharrones had the perfect crunch, and the mac & cheese tied everything together. I was so hungry I barely even took a picture before diving in -- that's how you know it's good. Huge shoutout to the guy serving us too. Great hospitality, super friendly, and he even recommended some drinks that paired perfectly with the food. If you're in Westbury and craving real, comforting Spanish food, this spot is a must. Come hungry -- you're gonna leave full and happy

I traveled here to find out that the Cook is on a break and will be gone for 30 minutes. It took me about 30 minutes to get here so it makes no sense to go home. now I'm just sitting in the dining room waiting for the Cook to come back from her lunch break. Not professional at all.. Tonight when I got home and went to enjoy my dinner. I realized they messed up my order for a second time. I ordered two cheesesteaks. They forgot the cheese. Now I know if I ever go back. I have to check before I leave. BTW, they charge a surcharge if you pay by credit card
