I was able to enjoy takeout from this restaurant. I didn't go there so I can't comment on the location or interior. I apologize for not taking pictures but I will next time. And yes, there will be a next time. I ordered the 1/4 chicken platter that came with fries and a salad. The chicken leg was cooked perfectly. The seasonings were well balanced and delicious. Nice to find a place to get pollo à la brasa in the area. The fries were hand cut and perfectly cooked. The side salad was a nice size. I had enough fries and salad leftover for the next day. I tried some of the yucca huancain and it was good. The yucca seemed overcooked. The sauce was a little too thick. It may be because it was take out so the dish got cold. The flavors were on point but the texture not so much. The purple corn drink was so unique. I never had it before but highly recommend it!! I can't even explain it. We stopped in at Kiko's yesterday and ordered the Arroz con mariscos (seafood dish with rice and a cream finish) and the Lomo Saltado (steak stir fry dish). I also ordered the Chicha morada, which is a delicious blue corned based drink. The steak dish was good, but the seafood dish was lights out. There were 5 different types of seafood and a light flavorful cream sauce. It was difficult to stop going at the seafood dish when full. . The service was very good as well. read more

I come here at least once a month or every other month. I always order the half or whole chicken and the cilantro rice which are always good. Just wish they weren't skimpy with the sauce especially when I order a whole chicken and I am sharing with my family/friends. Kiko's Peruvian Kitchen is a quaint restaurant. When I got there I realized it was smaller than what I expected. If you are a group of 3 or more I highly recommend making a reservation or calling to confirm that there is availability to accommodate your group because there isn't that much space to accommodate walk ins but for less than 3 people it's more likely that you will get a table if you walked in but I honestly recommend just ordering take out! I went by myself and was able to get a table when I walked in. The food though was so tasty and the portion size is as expected for Peruvian food. I paid $22 for the Chaufas Mariscos, $6 for the fries, and $2.50 for the coffee. I couldn't finish the food at the restaurant so I had left overs to eat the next day which was nice. The portion and quality of food was awesome. We came here after we stopped at Diggerland for the day and this was the best way to end the day. Food came out pretty fast and everything tasted amazing. There was some options that were available and that's okay. We didn't have reservations but luckily still able to get a table for 4. If you come here and don't want to wait definitely make a reservation. Parking is street parking and there wasn't that many but you can park and walk to the restaurant. This is a very unassuming spot in a trip store in collingswood along the Collins Avenue thoroughfare. Plenty of parking behind the building. To start it's a small space few tables but cozy. The food offerings are Peruvian. They have the newly traditional rotisserie chicken that is moist and perfectly seasoned. They offer whole chicken specials with sides. We chose take out since we live close. The meal deal was whole chicken and 2 sides. We opted for the fries which are fresh cut and delicious. Sadly I love french fries and these are up there on rating. We also opted for the rice option. The sides were larger than expected. We have so much more of the menu to try out. I do think that this spot is affordable and delicious at the same time. A definite try ! read more

We happened to wander into this place after hearing about it on tik tok walking in the inside was very pretty and well decorated but we ended up sitting outside because we brought our dog the servers were extremely accommodating and sweet opening up the umbrella outside and cleaning the outside table ( it was raining ) and being very welcoming and attentive! We drive 45 minutes to come eat at Kiko's. They make the most authentic Peruvian food in the Tri-state area -- hands down! Every dish we have had (we've visited many times and have gone down the menu) is as it should be - flavorful, fresh and authentic. The place is small (fits 25?) so call ahead for reservation. Service is always excellent and Chef Kiko is sometimes available (to congratulate, of course!) Call ahead for your Papa Rellena as they run out. Nice serving sizes. As I always share, you will know when your Peruvian dish is well made by just dipping your fork or spoon in the sauce of your dish. It's a very small place; only a few tables; however they also do takeout The food was great! and authentic offerings! I had Loma Saltana and yucca fries. the assorted spices made it all great. I loved Kiko's Peruvian Kitchen! We tried half rotisserie chicken with the cilantro rice, lomo saltado, ceviche, yuca fries, and the fish dish with white rice! We also had the two desserts offered with a cup of coffee at the end of our meal which was the perfect cherry on top of our experience here. Be mindful that the restaurant is small but I believe they DO take reservations. Also it is BYOB. Amazing service. Amazing food. Carlos and Kiko are both friendly and attentive. I heard Kiko's was amazing. My husband is a fan of a Peruvian chain restaurant and thought I'd order Kiko's for Father's Day and just hope for the best since I'd never tried their food. I called the restaurant the day before and spoke to a gentleman who I believe to be the owner, and he helped me create a meal for 8 people (6 adults and 2 kids). He was so very nice and explained everything perfectly. Pollo alla brasa: phenomenal. Every piece was seasoned perfectly, and the whole chicken was tender and juicy. Both my kids loved it. Lomo saltado: This was my favorite. I am pretty sure I dreamed about it when I went to sleep. Again, seasonings are on point. I put this over my rice and went back for more twice. My husband said the chicken was his favorite and the Lomo just ok, but I am having to disagree. Pescado a lo macho: I don't eat seafood, but my parents and inlaws really enjoyed this one. It was chock full of seafood, and they were raving about how good it was. Chaufa de pollo: very good, not overly eggy. Again, seasoned perfectly. The fries were really tasty. They appear to be hand cut and just delicious. The kids were all over those. I went in to pick it up. They were ready a few minutes after I got there, carried the boxes to my car, and gave me some hot sauces. I only tried the red, but it was great. The interior is very small so if you want to eat in you 100% need a reservation. We already have plans to order here again. This was our first time here. I saw the great reviews and had to give it a try. Let me just say that I can't believe I haven't tried it sooner. We had reservations on a Saturday we were seated immediately at our table. Service was great. The food was outstanding. From the ceviche apps to the homemade cookies at dessert. I highly recommend the Mahi Mahi dish. The owner came over to our table and was so polite and accommodating. We had one picky eater in our group (my daughter) and he made all adjustments to her dish to satisfy her. He actually changed a few of our dishes like shrimp instead of steak, spicy, not spicy... Been wanting to try Kiko's since opening day and we finally got try it today. Its BYOB and there is plenty of parking in the back. Food was amazing, we had the Ceviche Mixto, which has octopus, fish, shrimp, calamari and corn, we got it medium heat, would do spicy next time, but it was very flavorful with a vibrant flavor. I got the Lomo Saltado, which knocked it out of the park for me, Rachel got the Rotisserie Chicken, which was huge and on point. For dessert, we got the flan and next time I'm going to order one to eat there and one to take home. Kiko's is a solid restaurant to get Peruvian. Plates are a good portion at a great value. We are already talking about coming back here all the time. Restaurant is not huge, but it's cosy with a great decor. read more

It was my first time trying Peruvian food and it was fantastic. The food tastes like it's cooked with love. We had the papa a la huancaina, classic ceviche, frejoles con seco, and chaufa de mariscos. My favorite was definitely the potatoes with the cheese sauce. The ceviche was good, but I wish it was cut into smaller bites. The portion of fried rice was the perfect size and I ended up finishing it. My fiance ended up taking home leftovers of the beef stew.  It is an extremely intimate and small restaurant. We went at 3pm when they opened on a Tuesday. Service was a tad slow considering we were the only customers, however, our server was extremely nice and gave us recommendations. Wow it's been awhile since we've found a Peruvian place around us that serve true authentic Peruvian food!!! It's a small restaurant but if you get here at a good time, it can seat a party of 8. It's a very warm atmosphere with great servers. All have been super attentive and friendly. For drinks, they serve Inca Kola and chica morado which are traditional drinks from Peru. There were great. We ordered the pollo a la brasa, ceviche mixto and pesado frito (on the special menu). The seafood was fresh and the pollo la brasa was perfectly made. Chicken was moist and seasoned well. They also have alfajores and picarones which are Peruvian desserts very difficult to find in South jersey. The picarones were just freshly done and tasted delicious!!! Can't wait to come back.
