    Philly Cheesesteak Yucca bite

Lulas!!! Once you find it, it's so worth the trip. We've been coming her since they opened. We had been going to The Sewing Studio weekly so we would spin around the the back parking lot on the way home and pick up empanadas. It was our Thursday night treat. It's a carryout window only so, when it's cold, ordering ahead is key. In fact, I generally recommend ordering ahead. Yaslyn and her other employee are both extremely friendly. They happily answer any question and always greet you with a smile. Now, the empanadas are not typical flavors. There is Buffalo Chicken (amazing), Sweet Thai Chili (so, so good), Chorizo (one of my favorite). There are other flavors but these are our family faves along with the gluten-free Philly Cheesesteak Yucca bites. She also sometimes will have a flavor of the month and some limited time or dessert flavors. Today I had a Butter Chicken empanada and it was so good! I hope it's not a limited time offering. I also had the apple cinnamon which was a little strong on the cinnamon but it was still very good. Like a fried apple pie. There is a very cute outdoor space with picnic tables. Lulas has a Station Ave address but it's the back of the buildings so you can either pull around to the lot in the back, on Atlantic or park on Station and walk through the alleys. Definitely try Lulas. It's amazing.

Surprisingly good empanadas(pastelillos). All were tasty, full of meat, and nice crunch to the shell. Ropa vieja, sweet Thai chicken, bbq pulled chicken, cheesesteak order of tasty from my order. All were good, but this is my preference. Will continue to go back for more.

    Eagles Super Bowl empanadas!

We just had a fabulous empanada from Lula at the Haddonfield farmer's market. Really worth seeking out.

It's tiny, with only enough space for about ten tables, so the atmosphere is super cozy. My son and I came here last night during Haddonfield's Friday night candlelight holiday shopping when all of Kings Highway was lit up and filled with carolers and shoppers. My son got the burrito de pescado ($15) and I got the enchiladas de carnitas ($20). Both were excellent and incredibly filling. They don't accept reservations so you'll have to show up and try your luck, and possibly put your name on a waitlist and wait for a call. Also, they will knock 10% off your bill if you pay in cash.

We ordered tamales as our appetizer and they were incredible. Tasted like my childhood. We went with the chicken burrito and the tacos de birria as our entrees. Neither dish disappointed. The birria tacos were the best i've had in a long time. Coming from central jersey, we have been spoiled with amazing food from all cultures -- but ever since moving here we've had a hard time finding local places that are tasty and worth it. This will be our new place for sure. Can't wait to come back! It's located in the downtown area so after dinner you can walk straight to the local dessert shops. The waiter was also awesome!

We went here for lunch and had the sweetest of waitress, polite service, great food, clean and nice decor. We had complimentary chips and salsa. We ordered chips and guacamole and tamales to start. Homemade chips and guacamole were good. Tamales came 2 with order. 1 pork 1 chicken both were also good. For lunch, I had steak chimichanga which came with rice and black beans. My daughter had Camarones (red hot spicy sauce) with shrimp which also came with rice and black beans. They rice was light, fluffy and full of flavor, definitely homemade. We both loved our lunch and ate till we were full and still took home leftovers. For dessert we had churros which came with a sweet flavored ice cream and whip cream. We will definitely be back since they are open for business during these crazy times!!

Tacos does not come with any kinds of salsa like other Mexican places. Also becareful of their taco Tuesdays and the (+2.99 Platter) it's just an add on for beans and rice and a salad that they don't specify. I tried to get a refund for the platter because I didn't know and to just keep the tacos but they apparently can't do it cause it's "paid online". You might as well don't get scammed like me and order the lunch version on their menu since it's a cheaper version of the "platter +2.99" without the extra charge. They also do not answer their phone often so that should've kind of been my red flag for this place. Service was not the best and had not only me but a lot of other people waiting for a long time to get their food. I genuinely love Mexican food places so it saddens me that I had to write this review cause it was that bad.

It has many of the traditional fresh fruit and veggie selections you'd see at a typical market, but there are a couple standouts that should put this market in your rotation: 1. Surprisingly a lot of local liquor options. Between beer and spirits, this market features 3-4 different alcohol vendors all with unique flavor and styles. 2. O.K. Charley's Craft BBQ - I'm going to be honest.. this is arguably the best bbq in the area. Their brisket is melt in your mouth tender and juicy with a perfect pepper bark that really gives that texture and depth of flavor good BBQ is supposed to have. This is absolutely worth the trip alone 3. Central location - this market is close to a bunch of small locals spots that I enjoy. Troubled Brewing coffee is only steps away, you can get something hearty from Local Links or walk down the street for some ice cream. You can really turn this farmers market visit into a full afternoon adventure if you choose too! Lastly, there is a small little car show that always happens the same day just on the edge of the market. If you enjoy looking at fun cars, you can pop into the car show while eating Empanadas from Lola's at the market for a perfect Sunday market experience
